There were some very dejected guys near GZ loading a dinged car. We wanted to say something, they wanted to say something but in the end nobody said anything.. we all just felt sorry about the obvious. Grabbed the cache when the opportunity arose.. one of the quicker train caches. TFTC froghoppin.

19-Apr-24
Lots of dire warnings in previous logs here, maybe all the nasty things had been exorcised by previous finders but just as I was about to get a torch and some gloves my eyes got used to the gloom I espised it and was able to write in the very full log. Nice train nearby

14-Apr-24
We Eclipsed it ??

12-Apr-24
TFTC definitely be careful before putting your hands into this one. Lots of redbacks, wasps and all sorts of bitey things

26-Mar-24
OK. So this one can be quite deadly and lead you to hospital. Looked around the area and eventually found the cache. Luckily I didn't stick my hand in there to grab it as there were quite a few redback spiders guarding this one! Used a stick to pull it out to the ground then made sure no spiders were on it. A quick log and back it went after I cleared it with a stick. Not good. TNLN. Cheers.

Full time Nomads since March 2014.

Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.

Stopping in Jamestown to catch up with Sylken. Big Grin This morning we joined with them to attempt a new cache and try to convert some Sad. Bumping into Chrispy was a bonus. We continued along in 3 cars, then 2 cars then it was just us caching our way back to Jamestown. Razz

Fun Sunny day to be out and about.

While staying in Jamestown we enjoyed today caching in Peterborough and Yongala. Peterborough seems to be ‘Nano Central’ and as these types of hides are definitely our nemesis, and not our favourites we weren’t surprised to end up with a few DNF’s….even with comprehensive hints

Quick find after having dinner at the servo.

What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

froghoppin, I found Hop aboard the Broken Hill Express today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021! Razz
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Big Grin Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]Cool

DAY 4: Grab a few move solved puzzles and head to Terowie. Cool
Another train, another .....hey that cannot possible be the cache. Surprised Must be a throw down. [?] Nope plenty of names in the log. Razz We added ours but it was so out of place for Nanoborough. Smile

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. Cool That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

***Thanks froghoppin for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
