Called back in for one last look and "viola." I had given up on finding this cache, even recreating pprass's photo of it hanging in the tree, so left to head home. Once I was just about out of the swamp, I literally stepped over it in the long grass along the trail. It was now home to a nest of ants and there was no log book, but I rehung it as originally hidden. Love converting an old DNF!Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Cant find it. Very swampy and hard to to get through bushes. Wasnt hopeful as looks like it hasnt been found successfully for a few years!
Had a quick poke around as I had a few minutes to spare in between appointments today. Looking back over the previous logs, I can't tell if the coords are accurate or not, some saying good, some saying bad. Anyway, it was dry underfoot, so I'll call back with a bit more time next time. Lots of rubbish and evidence of undesirables around, hopefully it's still here.
Coordinates are not accurate and snakes are around if next person to find could move it to the correct spot that would be great
Found but it has obviously been tampered with. Found it over 22 meters away from co ords
Rest of the cache is missing so nothing to sign

Found this one earlier on in the month when the terrain was reasonably dry. Soon spotted the contraption but like others before me could not get the container open to sign the logbook. Photos attached.
Another great cache container. Got through to the nano but, yet again, I was unable to open this container. Koolas kept me company. Tough getting through the lantana! TFTC.
Found TFTC! Cache #4 for today’s adventures! #37
This one needs to be more difficult for the terrain! You do need to go into the swamp land of fallen trees! Cache is an awesome long container hanging around to be found! Worth it!

Another great day for geocaching around the beautiful Port Macquarie area. TFTC
Entirely not what I expected... great cache in an interesting location. Fave Point

Another year later, we're back in PMQ. We were on a ride into town and it took us past Drop Bears so we decided to suck it up and go where we were too sooky to go last time. And it paid off, we quickly spotted the cache.
MrG was taking extra special care with the micro cache because quite frankly, its days were gonna be numbered if it was dropped. And he dropped the lid... I think we can all thank his new glasses for the miracle that followed. TFTC bustedbottom. No caches were harmed in the finding of this smilie.

We thought this one looked like it might be a little too swampy... Will come back during the next drought though thanks for the adventure though bustedbottom!!

Nice walkway but mozziezzz are not friendly.
A number of years ago Stu was at a party with a few visiting American friends. The Aussies convinced the Americans that the gum nuts, seed pods etc falling on the roof were actually drop bears and they should look for them.

There are some tough caches around here lately! This one was in the middle of the swamp, so I came prepared with waders and managed to get through the brown murky water which was about knee deep, while avoiding the mozzies. I was so glad that the co-ords were accurate, because I desperately followed the compass on the GPSr hoping that it would take me straight to the cache and it did [^]
Thanks bustedbottom.
Feedback: I think that the conditions at this cache location have changed substantially since it was placed - it is now in the middle of a swamp, so the T rating needs to go up or put in an applicable "attribute".

This was the last cache attempted with Grub Fred and we were more confused than the Scottish reporter in the drop bear prank. The GPS unfailingly wanted us 13 metres in the dank swamp water but that seemed an unlikely task, not to mention a bit more difficult than the given D/T. We gave the dry footed areas a good search but with nothing found came to the conclusion the swamp must be where we needed to go. We all agreed, DNF.
Tftc it took us a long time but when we found it we were happy. Enclosed shoes recommended!!
Headed off to grab some caches but didn’t get too far. Got a couple but a fire flare up stopped us getting as many as we wanted today. TFTC.
We retraced our steps & amazingly we spotted the cache just hanging there waiting to be found. We were busy looking under so did not spot the cache on our previous search. How could we have missed it.
Another good hide.
Thanks for placing this cache busted bottom

Met up with hubby who had gone for a bike ride at this cache.
Lots of locations that fitted the hint but we were unable to find the cache.
Another visit to this area will be necessary.
Thanks
