This is the cutest cache Ive seen so far! Brings back some childhood memories. Very special watching all the trains pass by as the logbook is signed and returned to its safe space. Took nothing and left nothing. Left as found! Love it!
Slightly more treacherous going down than going up, particularly with my inappropriate footwear today. But cache quickly and easily found, of course, and what a lot of swag! Must remember this one for next time I need to move on some TBs as I come by this way quite often. TFTC! (+1fp for the nice cache container!
We came to this area because we saw a fabulous segment on gardening Australia about the reflection garden nearby. We started at Glen Huntly and then decided to walk to Ormond, picking up this cache on the way. Thank you for the unique hide.
Quick find here. Just the way we like it. Love your work.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Made the walk up to this one, found the bag with the contents of the cache down the hill thrown in there so put them back insideTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Its been a while since I found a nice big large! And in such a lovely hidden spot in a lovely neighbourhood on a lovely day. I restocked it with plenty of swaps since there were hardly any in there!
Cache find 234Good old Thomas the tank engine a childhood classic after climbing the and pushing through the bushes thomas came chugging along the track Bust my buffers! - thomas the tank engineContainer is in good condition TFTC
Hard to get a park here today.Anyway that was sorted soon enough. With good instructions we got to GZ without hassle and from being spotted. On approach the large size cache was discovered.log signed and all back safe again. Thanks jupiterpearl for your caches.
Definitely an easy way and a hard way to get to this one. TFTC! This one's worth finding.
Not too difficult access, wonderful (and big) container. All very impressive and enjoyable. TFTC
Passed by today with new log in double plastic bag for dryness - pencil also inside. Please double bag again. Replacement log. 6.45 pm Flinders St train went by.
Woohoo. We love a train theme cache, and this one is taken to the next level. As previously noted, the log is very damp, so we have attached a photo. We are here just to claim the LGA, so we haven't done the rest of the series.
No mistaking this nice huge cache on my way back from the nearby DM park mystery caches on a beautiful autumnal day. Still secure just so damp that I was unable to log my find. Great description.
I was out hunting large cache containers as I had a day off work and a house packed full of teenagers that had the airfryer working overtime. I needed some space! As I log this I note the CO has disabled it for maintenance so the sodden logbook is soon to be a thing of the past. Saves me making a maintenance request too. Thanks for the novel cache.
Very cute! Thank goodness for the very good description - without it I would have been too scared to get it! TFTC!
Thank you jupiterpearl. Still there everyone and lots of fun. My BFs first cache - woo! We left a very special swap for the next lucky cacher. Enjoy.
Terrain feels higher than 2/5! One obstacle after another to get to GZSuper fun though and cute cache, TFTC
Great find with my Aussie family. The trackable is coming home with me to the UK! I will log its new home asap!
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 14/74, Sunday. Temperature: 38 degrees. Oh boy, that is too much for a Finn! Today, I took a train here and there, and sometimes a tram, and visited a cache or two and then continued. No real plan today, except finding one large cache (which I managed to do). It was simply too hot for proper planning. Ah, the large one. Thank you for the cache, and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Original log booked dried out at home now placed back in cache container. Area now free of road works. Enabled.8.02 pm train to Flinders Street came by while I was here. 3/1
Work almost clear. Cache still there replacing /drying out log -upAnd running soon.
works still going on doing drainage and pipe work in the area - barriers still up .
Hello I was looking around for the cache and it might have been removed or blocked off by the railway works This might be the case but Im also pretty dumb Love your caches
Checked tonight. Yes. It appears the approach to the cache area is currently blocked - the cache is still in place. Because it is not completely accessible, Im going to disable it until all the works are over and the road is open again. Thanks for the warning
Not accessible as usual. Barriers up and the road is blocked due to current construction.
After moping about the house for a few days last week i decided that i really needed to get away for a while. Phillip Island is one of my favorite places for a beach break so i decided to head down there and remind myself what the ocean looks like, its been far too long. I set about booking some pet friendly accommodation for a few days and then threw together a list of caches to tackle on the way down. Last night i packed a bag and had another look at the list i had created, wow, what an eclectic bunch of caches, it should be a terrific day.
Some nearby construction work meant i had to walk a little more than i expected and a gaggle of school kids meant i had to wait a little longer too. But i soon had this lovely cache tamed and signed, cool.

A favourite from us.
We remember being over in this area when the original Rosstown Railway series was published .

TFTC great find, lived the caches container. Hint: follow the rules and steps. Trust the process.
I love the appropriate container. Unfortunately a muggle had found it recently and scrawled a stupid comment in the log then didn't seal the plastic bag. The paper is slightly damp but writable. I sealed the bag and folded it neatly so it fits in the space. Tftc.
TFTC, a bit of bush bashing before finding the cache. Nice cute container. Very appropriately themed.
Out with Geobro the other day and this is definitely all about the name

Works on the railway lines is just north of this cache. Some local roads are closed but cache is available. Had been disturbed- put back where it should be and the log book was there.
Found as my cache for the day to mark off the calendar! Unfortunately no sign of a logbook inside, have messaged CO. I signed the one random bit of paper that was inside. TFTC!

A great hide,kl so much work and effor.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.
