Cache is in bad condition and I have no container to replace it. Opening this location for another cache.
3:52PM Definitely gone. Ive found this cache before and its not there. New guard rail has been installed. Cheers M+S [:0)]
(Logged at home) Couldn't find it, looked like it could've been muggled and seen some photos of where it should be so we checked there and it wasn't there! DNF
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288 Not on the Mangrove side. Cheers, Cympull.
Located the cache with ease, but had to wait for the muggles to pass, before retrieving.
This was by far the most easy geocache that I found, there was what looked like a path leading to the cache from people walking through the bushes.
Missing lid on cache but surprisingly dry considering how exposed it is. Certainly dryer than we are today!
Thanks thedbees for the cache. It’s #1692 for us. We found your cache on 30 March 2023.
Lovely spot with lots of birds around at low tide.

Was in Taipa for the car and bike show and saw this one was nice and close! Was good to walk the new bridge which we have driven over many times. Unfortunately did not have a pen but have photo of GZ if required. TFTC
short stop on our way north to discover this nice place.
Thank you for the cache

Found it though we though it was a milk bottle but it was a bit dangerous
️ Parking ️ was wonderful. It made finding this cache really enjoyable. We parked at the lay-by. Thanks nalawod.
First find today.
We stopped close by for a coffee/comfort stop, and RG and I took the chance to stroll across this awesome little bridge.
Enjoyed the artwork and design, cache was a quick find where I expected it. TFTC thedbees/nalawod.
Day 6 of our Northland tour, and today we have booked a guided tour to Cape Reinga, with a drive down 90 mile beach and some sand dune tobogganing thrown in.
We were going to do this as a day trip from Kaitaia, but decided on a bus trip instead from Paihia.
It has advantages, but disadvantages too.
We get the company of others, local knowledge, and door to door pickup, as well as doing two tasks we wouldn’t be doing if winging on our own. It does mean, however, a lot of caches we just drive past. Oh well, if we can average 10 a day that is a good day, I think.
Just two traditionals for the day, and a virtual. The other 3 are Earthcaches I will need to log later as our current wi-fi crashes easily.
Very windy today, and cold too. This means we have been to both the top of the North and bottom of the South within a year. Love getting around the place. Thanks all COs.

My friend was heading up this way on a maintenance run having just taken over the nalawood caches. I enthusiasticly joined in as I have been meaning to come back up this way for ages. My last visit was in 2018 and there have been quite a lot of caches placed since then.
It turns out this was my last cache find for the day. I had a very enjoyable day and got 31 finds. The new bridge is neat and I loved the coloured insets on the prow of the Waka. Ducking in and out between traffic wasn't too bad this evening. The cache was in good condition. Thanks for all caches you've adopted thedbees

Took us a while but was pretty obvious when we did find it. You do get pretty close to fast traffic so take

TFTC walked over bridge, hello from chch love this area will defiantly come back
Easy to find and nice scenic location but very close to a busy, main road. Keep your kids close by.
After going to Cape Reinga this morning with very little traffic on the road. Things are a lot busier towards Coopers Beach. This bridge looks awesome. Quick snag and tag between the traffic. Cheers. Thanks for the cache page info. Fav from me
Day 7, Wednesday 26 January - Tokerau to Cape Rienga and back today with Toby and Lenny. Then over to Mangonui and Hihi before returning to Tokerau Beach. Zara gets a rest at Tokerau Beach. Got caught in a cloud burst later today. Incredible after 15min of rain there were creeks running down the side of hills as wide as Toby where there was green grass earlier. Then it was crossing the road over 150 to 200mmm deap and there were 3 crossings withina 1 kilometer stretch. So lets get exploring!
Zara, Toby, Lenny and I are on our North Island expidition for a couple of weeks. Got The Seagnoid along for the first 4 days, heading to the Auckland Mega. PWGTs and TMGTs are on the radar for this trip. Lots of driving on gravel roads and visited lots of amazing places on our 6000km road trip snagging 200+ caches along the way. Visiting Cape Reinga, Bay of Islands, Gisborne and White Rock along our journey. Another awesome trip. Thanks to all CO's.

The traffic had eased off a bit as we crossed over this work of art, but as we pulled over the road became very busy again - of course! Fortunately the cache was as expected so was found signed and replaced quickly and we were on our way again. Thanks for bringing us here nalawod.
To celebrate Vanessa's (Nessvab) 40th (which was during lockdown) we are trying to find 40 caches on our 40 hour adventure. We started this morning at 8am in Russell and heading North to Coopers Beach via roadside caches & Mangonui. We love sudoku (the 1st one was easy, 2nd one was challenging) and learnt about KenKen to solve another puzzle. Ending today's adventure with the night in Paihia.
Cache 11 of 40 - great little find on the new bridge on our travels. TFGC

Heading north with DaffyNZ to collect a few solved puzzles and other caches.
Had not been across this bridge since it's completion. A definite improvement on the old one way job. After waiting for some young muggles to slowly saunter past, a nice quick find here thx. TFTC

Out with 0B80B8 today collecting a few caches around the far North. This is only the second time I have crossed the new bridge. So much better than the old one. Park near by and once the muggles had walked pass we soon had the cache located. TFTC
It was time for a wee drive down to Taipa/Coopers Beach area to have a bit of a look around and to sign off the odd cache or three.
Cheers for the cache.

For some obscure reason we started on the wrong side of the road, and what a busy road it is.
Soon had it in hand.

An early morning start on a road trip with Rebel98. Not much traffic around so Rebel98 found a sneaky park very close to gz. Quick find here of the cache in the obvious spot. TFTC

Decided to come up this way with the kids for a drive and grab some caches. Parked up in the small parking area south of the bridge and walked back. Very nice new bridge - cache was quick to locate. Signed and replaced. TFTC.
Found it with the nieces after driving over the new bridge a million times. Finally had a reason to walk it and read some knowledge.
This cache gave me an excuse to walk the new bridge, easy find blended with it's surroundings...beware of walking muggles TFTC
Found earlier today on my way south , always been meaning to stop , today was the day
An awesome location for a cache - it’s fantastic that Taipa has a two-lane bridge now. A lovely spot on a lovely day with DeadRockFlower and the family. Tnlnsl. Tftc!!

Out with Team SEAC on a long weekend raid of the upper north island. This was the fourth day of caching, and we cached around the Mangonui area. This was a quick find following the hint. Signed Team SEAC to save space. TFTC.
Quick find by our team, but still always good to get another smile

Day 4 of our trip. Loved our time in this part of NZ. Group of us from Auckland took the weekend off and explored the area. Thanks for taking the time to place this cache. All cache logs signed as "SEAC". Sorry for generic logs.

With the mega being postponed a plan was hatched for some of the Team SEAC crew to head north for some fun. Today was day 4 and after a big day yesterday we decided to make it a slower one, stay local to where we were staying and enjoy the area.
Parked up across the road and wandered across. Quick find at GZ but we moved away to sign the log so we didn't distract the drivers along the road.
Thanks for the cache.

On a Team SEAC labour weekend trip to the north, we have spent the last 4 days driving and exploring the north. Have seen some wonderful beaches and wildlife, met some lovely locals and one not so friendly local and had a really great time with great friends.
this was a quick find by the team while enjoying Taipa. TFTC!

Day three of our caching adventure, with a group of like minded people from Auckland. Our local lodgings are at Cable Bay with an amazing outlook..... Staying local today preparing for the trip home on Tuesday..... Early finish enabling this logging.
Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches found today.

Very busy road and had to pick my moment to go over and search so as not to be a distraction to drivers wondering what I’m doing. Did my best. Took a few goes to retrieve and replace. TFTC
