Another quick find at GZ. Third of 4 caches on a quick caching jaunt on my own today during a family weekend break at Black Point. Ive discovered how much quicker & easier it is to cache without the kids tagging along! TFTC

Well November has come around once again before it gets too hot, that means off on a camping trip chasing Yellow Faces . Lucky enough to find several but have encountered a couple Blue Faces .Either way the experience has been rewarding due to the Geocache locations and the early summer days in the high teens & low to mid 20s.Many thanks go out to all the COs and the maintenance crews around the remote and country regions that make travelling more enjoyable.TFTC

Found on my one week's lovely and interesting YP caching odyssey. Thanks earthlight.

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well

With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.

Enjoyed a day off with my sister and brother-in-law, who was more interested in crop inspections (that's what farmers do), but he also helped look for smileys - good compromise.

Today is earthlight's birthday and her twin Gwen's too of course
earthlight wanted to come to YP to do some cache maintenance[^][^] and so Rex and I picked her up (late) at about 7.50am and returned her home at 8pm[|)], which was only a tad after tea time
We had a warm day with blustery winds and then rain, rain and rain all the way home
We even scored a FTF too along with my total of 24 cache finds for the day[^]
Talk about a weird day though[xx(][xx(] My GPSr had a hissy fit after the 4th cache and suddenly I had NO geocaches in my GPSr other than my previous finds I also could not use my phone and so I had to rely on earthlight[:X] telling me where geocaches were and then giving me GC codes so that I could list what I had found[:X][^]
From YP, we drove to Moonta to do the adv lab there[^] and completed that[^] then hit the wet roads to home[|)][^]
Rex was so tired[|)][xx(][|)] that the marrow bone I bought him in Moonta did not get touched[?][|)][|)] until the next day[|)]

Away for the Australia Day long weekend (We decided to be extra Patriotic and have Monday off as well! ) We are camped at Pine Point and today headed out early to grab a few caches and do a bit of sightseeing before meeting friends in Coobowie for lunch.. Today had us exploring with honeysucker and mattycat starting with the gone fishin series from 550 to 644 before heading off to some other caches in the area, we explored some of the walk the Yorke trail today although we did the walk the entire track today the caches enable us to enjoy some of the trails highlights today cache was found in good condition

Found on my way home from a few days at stansbury. Alone in the car, allowed for a few stops in the other side of the road but made the trip home take 5 hours. Well they do say “break the drive” ....

Had been planning a drive further down the Yorke Peninsula when this and another nearby came out yesterday. Took advantage of the shorter drive to get home in time to make the first batch of fudge for Christmas event on sunday.
Now to backtrack a bit for the second FTF for the month.

Another caching day out was organised with Doctor Owl, sushilord and Mrs SA Sewer Rats and as we had seen a few new caches published overnight we decided to head over to Yorke Peninsula to try and get a couple of them. After we had successfully FTF two multis it was time to get a few other caches on our trip around the peninsula. [^]

We had seen that the FTF was gone but still made our way here for a couple of STF's which we were happy with. A quick find here then a decision on where we would go next.
