Awesome breakfast. You make the best brekky. Thanks for putting this one Kittykatch.

It is a pity that for the second year running we were not able to get to Googong at this time of year. Mind you this was closer, and there was a good crowd, so it was still a success. It was great to catch up with people and trade the usual war stories before heading off to do a bit mare caching.

Thanks.

That was fun today. Thank you Kittykatch for holding the event. I had a great time talking to some fellow caches and as usual not enough time.

Out with AngelG doing our annual Australia Day caching... first an event then a few puzzles and of course a great catch up chat. Thanks AngelG you’re a fantastic friend.

Great way to start celebrating Australia Day.
Met up with old friends and was finally able to put faces to others... good excuse to talk about all things caching. Congratulations to ALL7 for reaching 16000... you are unstoppable! Thanks Kittykatch

A nice way to start of Australia day with a gathering of Geo Friends. Thanks, Kittykatch for a great breakfast, not what we were expecting but amazing food and a great way to cater.

It was nice to catch up with friends we have made through this great little addiction of ours and to run into some of our own locals from home as well. Congrats to ALL7 on her achievement of 16000 cache, What a great achievement.

There was much chat about many cache adventures near and far, and most people were heading off to do more caching for the day. Another great day out with friends.

Thanks again Kittykatch for this great way to celebrate our special day, Lil Donna & Co.

A good turnout for another Australia Day event, good to catch up with fellow cachers. Congrats to ALL7 for reaching 16,000 finds.
Thanks for hosting Kittykatch.

It a great event

This was a great morning event. We managed to catch up with some people we hadn't seen since last year which is always good. We had some winged geocachers attend as well but no-one caught their names Smile we had to leave right on 0900 to go to swimming but we hope everyone had a great time. Congrats ALL7 for your 16000th cache. TFTE KittyKatch.

Attended with CastleKay and AwesomeJackAttack4. Another great event, thank you Kittykatch.

26-Jan-20
Arrived first with Tankengine and we wiped the tables down first from all the sprinkler action overnight.
No wind and great views made this a popular spot to hold the Australia day brekky event. The crowds soon rolled in with the regulars and a few interstate revellers as well.

Congratulations to All7 on the 16,000 milestone and kittykatch on hosting the event.
Also ,the many teams who brought treats along for the masses.
Happy Australia Day !!

It was lovely to see everyone, sorry for rocking up so late.
I enjoyed my brekky too. Great event thanks KK

26-Jan-20
After a big day yesterday, was not sure how I was going to pull up today, but rolled out of bed with nothing more than a headache! So HappyUke and I rocked up happily , not early enough to wipe down the tables, but early enough to enjoy chit chat with the early birds. Enjoyed chatting to a few cachers and planning a few missions...shhh, don’t tell Bobl27!

Thanks Kittykatch for hosting The event and putting on some yummy food, and congrats to All7 for her 16,000 milestone!

26-Jan-20
Thanks to all the teams for coming along to an early Meetup and to all those who brought along a plate to share.

26-Jan-20
Came along nice and early this morning. A fairly nice day, although a tiny bit of smoke in the air... Enjoyed catching up with fellow cachers, and also some interstate cachers! Also enjoyed some breakfast! Thank-you to those that made some of that yummy food! No paddling for me today - I've done all the island caches around here! Smile

Thanks for organising Kittykatch!

A nice way to start Australia Day. Thanks for the breakfast, and another opportunity to catch up, plan and swap stories, and meet cachers I haven't met before. TFTC.

Wasn't going to make it to Googong but with the change to Black Mt all was good. Arrived early and joined the crowd and ended up staying for a while.

Thanks KK for the event...

Apologies for the late will attend, but will be there....

24-Jan-20
Hope to make it. Forgot there were islands here too, perhaps I might be able to share someone's kayak. Thanks for (re)organising Kittykatch.

24-Jan-20
Shame about Googong Dam. Would have been quite awesome having that spot and lake crawling with cachers.

LBG is good too though, still have some paddle caches in the vicinity plus I want to do maintenance on mine.

And I guess we needn't get up as early Smile

24-Jan-20
Event coordinates have yet to be updated on geocaching.com, for people like me who use directions straight from the cache icon might end up in the wrong location if they haven’t paid attention

24-Jan-20
I have tried to get gz updated but no luck. So I have changed the title and added the new location coords as a waypoint. The webpage will not let me change coords

24-Jan-20
I have put in like a mystery and updated in my corrected coordinated.
Done this by copying the new ones then pasting and applying in the corrected area.
It worked for me, sure it will work for the rest of you ! ! !

I am still in QLD, but tomorrow I fly to SYD, Greyhound to CBR and TC bus home - most likely arriving home around Midnight, but I still intend to attend ... also planning to put my kayak on the car and go paddling with the crowd ... I also want to go and find a certain cache on a certain nearby island ... one I once hid a cache on, but it never got published because, at the time, a (now archived) whereigo ended there ... I removed mine a year later, when I had finally done the whereigo ... should have left it there - lol

24-Jan-20
We will be there with CastleKay and AwesomeJackAttack4.

24-Jan-20
Should be fine to make it here!
Cheers Will

23-Jan-20
The gophers will drop by to say G'day Australia day

23-Jan-20
Will be there to celebrate Australia Day . Nice new location .
Thanks kittykatch.

23-Jan-20
See you there. Happy Australia day.

22-Jan-20
I should be coming to

22-Jan-20
No may about it... It's Australia Day so where else would I be!!!!!!
See you there

22-Jan-20
This event has been moved to Black Mountain Peninsula.
Please see updated coordinates in the cache description.
I will send a request to the Reviewer to update the event coordinates.

I still plan to put on a simple breakfast and will bring my kayak to go for a paddle.
Hope to see lots of you at the event

22-Jan-20
Planning to attend. May have HappyUke with me..!

20-Jan-20
Will be in Queanbeyan for the weekend so will adventure out with my Geo Chauffeur before he begins his train driving. x 2

20-Jan-20
ACT Parks and Conservation have just announced that Googong Foreshores will remain closed until midnight Monday, 27 January.

The event will still go ahead - I just need to pick a new location.
I will send out details as soon as I can

10-Jan-20
I am planning on coming along to this event.

Thanks
Albida

I plan to be there, see you then

16-Dec-19
Planning to be there

10-Dec-19
I hope to come

10-Dec-19
I intend to attend!

09-Dec-19
Will definitely be planning on being there!

09-Dec-19
I intend to attend ... even though I will probably be quite tired after the day before - that is the day my parents drive me from their place, in Caloundra, to the Airport and drop me off for my afternoon flight BNE to SYD, then i get on the evening greyhound bus to CBR and then catch a late evening Transport Canberra bus home ... meaning it will be at least midnight before I get to bed, probably longer because I will have to unpack/organise at least some stuff Smile

09-Dec-19
Planning on being there

09-Dec-19
I'm hoping to attend another Australia day event
