Found during today's visit to Whangarei. Took me a few to minutes to figure it out. What a great hiding. Thanks
Rainy day. Awesome hide, really got us thinking . BRING TWEEZERS OR TWIG. Thanks for the clues witch took us awhile to figure out. TFTC

To many people around the last time I was looking for it during the day. Came back tonight and found it. Really cool spot. Tftc
Tftc, tricky to find...you do need to think outside the square on this one for reals.
It took a while to find the hide, and it is a good one! A fsv point from me. It is a great cycle trail too! Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Today cruised around Whangarei. The odd torrential downpour and and then sunny skies!Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Managed to find this without realising that I had. Definitely a favorite point for presentation. Thank you 0B80B8
We came here due to the favourites.Got to gz and started searching. So many little holes it could be. Looking looking, read some logs. Went back to a spot we looked originally..... just at the right angle spotted something. Wow!! Awesome cache which was fun to find.Of course we will add to the favourites. Caches like this making caching so much fun.Thank you 0B80B8 for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 4965
Dropped of my clients at the hospital and had some time to collect a few caches. No 5 for my celestial souvenir. Hot in whangas today. This was a very cool cache worthy of a fav from me. TFtc
Yay for such a cool cache. Driven up for grandsons dance recital and theres always the quick check for a close cache after parking. Enlisted help of my two kids so its always nice to have an impressive cache to find when you have muggles helping.
Finally found this in the 3rd visit. Very clever. I knew it had to be here so wasn't going to mark dnf until we'd tried quite hard. Whew!
Third - or fourth - time looking, and we got it today! This was a tough one, so we are happy our persistence paid off. Log is full, though. I squeezed our names in. TFTC
we would never have spotted that if we werent looking for it. truly amazing! the log is full now however!
Whangrei is a great place for caching and the CO is a big contributor to that. Have been here before on a previous visit but didnt think or look hard enough.Today I was there after school but there were too many kids so I went to the library to regroup. On my return, I had an aha moment and spotted it. Hurrah! Today is my birthday, so that and the best toastie ever from The Handsome Frog, really made my day. Tftc and an FP from me.
A bit of poking and prodding, and I found this one. Very clever camo, and if not for the metal I was using to probe, I may have missed it. Lovely morning for a walk. TFTC
Saw the plethora of FPs here and headed for a check of pre-conceived assumptions. Yep, waste of time. Let my fingers do the searching and got lucky. The cache was in hand soon afterwards and replaced carefully and accurately. FP from me for this great hide and camo.
Into June already and Winter is here with temperatures dropping later in the day, and curtains drawn earlier and earlier. Time to head to the 'Winterless North' - Yeah Right. A few days away up from Rangitikei and another 4 night stay at Chateau Ngunguru, the works bach. A good time to catch up with the family and grandchildren in Maungatapere, and a few trips to spend time with each other in Whangarei. Highlights of the visit; A few more Riser caches, some more 0B80B8 ones, meeting both of those COs within a few hours of each other on the Monday, and another rare Wherigo. As ever, thanks to all COs for their hides and maintenance.

This took waaaay longer than expected. Very sneaky cache & camo, and it was made more difficult by somewhat inaccurate coords, and only having phone torches to help light our search. We must have checked every possible spot several times and were about to give up for the night when Laimelde spotted something and asked for another set of eyes to confirm what she was seeing. Yep! That's it! Finally!
Thanks for the challenge!
Thanks for the challenge!
After getting dinner nearby, we decided we couldn't leave without grabbing this cache since it was so close. Then we realised it wasn't so close - it away the other side of the tracks! Lol.
When we reached the correct ground zero, we checked everything for a significantly larger area than needed. Our GPS coords didn't seem to settle despite the clear and open sky. We read the hint, searched some more, read the hint, searched again... several times we discussed how we were done searching and really should move on before we ended up staying all night... but somehow we still didn't stop checking everything in sight for the thirtieth or fortieth time.
I pondered why several previous logs mentioned thinking hard about what the hint meant. It didn't click right away - I was more focused on one part of it than another.
Eventually I focused on the correct part, and started checking a spot we had already checked multiple times - but this time I noticed something. I called MrsCowell over, and she actually figured out how to retrieve it - what I thought was the cache wasn't quite, but she made the connection and suddenly the cache was in hand.
Very sneaky, and very, very well done. I doubt I would be able to do that quite so perfectly! FP from me!

Had a great evening wandering about town finding a few caches. Nice one here. Thanks.
Found with stairman1. We have been all over the city today finding caches. We had to find this one because of all the favourites. Fantastic cache. Another favourite point.TFTC
Found with goldielover today.
Here is another favourite point. Great cache.

So, a good few favourites on an urban cache deserves a visit for sure.
Counting down the metres to the GZ left me wondering quite what I’d need to be looking for. I checked all the typical nano hiding places without success then out of curiosity I have a feature a little wiggle and waddya know!
Thanks 0B80B8

Finally found. How I didn't notice that before the many times I've stood here looking, just prove how well hidden it is. It's in sight but not in sight. Thanks to the CO for his help and patience with my messages.
Today was the last day of our Caching Adventures in Whangarei.
Mrs Jag had made list of a few highly favourited ones for us to find!
This did not disappoint!
What a marvellous camouflage here!
Took us a few minutes to spot it..
But the hint made it easy!
Definitely a Favourite.
Thanks 0B80B8.
We seem to have done heaps of yours this weekend!

Our last day in Whangarei with Supernannny and we had time to collect a few caches before heading home. We were targeting some highly favourited caches and this was on our list.
Not knowing the area too well, we initially found ourselves on the wrong level to find this one. Then we saw a cyclist on the shared pathway, and made our way down to gz, where it didn't take long to locate this very sneaky hide. Love these caches which are in plain sight.

We grabbed some lunch around the corner and while we were eating we saw this cache so had to check it out. A very sneaky hide which took us a few minutes to find but thankfully Nette was on to it. An easy FP given
I managed to spot this fairly quickly, but left the younger cachers to find it, the needed some help with the hint. But they got there eventually. TFTC
I’m glad that only took 5 minutes but it was the only thing left to check after eliminating all other options. Excellent hide definitely deserves a favourite point! Bravo! I chose a good time to come as no one about on a Sunday evening.
Travelled up from Dunedin for my first Mega event and wanting to sign off some geotour caches as well in Auckland and Northland.
Thanks for the cache, 0B80B8

Wow love this cache took us awhile but very cool find made to for perfect Def one of our fave caches
out for morning walk on the cycle/walkway and finally found this very lazy wee cache. Gosh had to move fast as muggles appearing from both ways.
After some lunch at McD's I wandered down along here. Took me a couple of minutes, but then that ah ha moment, very clever have a FP for sure, cheers
Awesome!! Squeals of excitement when found as a friend said she couldn't find it. This is such a cool cache. Thanks!
I'm still keen to fill in my dot days hence my need for a cache find today. I've also decided to challenge myself by trying to get each month up to 200 finds. This month I only need 33 but in May I only have 84 finds which will require a fair bit of effort. This cache also starts me on my natural wonders souvenir too.
I've been to this cache three times now but I got a hint from a friend so I finally found it. Very cleverly done. I will give you a favourite point when I have one to give. I've now completed this great Hipster series. Nice to have our own G-2 equivalent in Whangarei. Thanks for your effort making these fun, high quality hides

Quick find but beware there is a paper wasp nest in close proximity to the cache️
WOW!! This is the best cache I have found in some time. I am surprised it doesn’t have more FPs. Ingenious! Well made, well disguised. I am in awe how well it fits together and the craftsmanship. A late afternoon find on a Sunday was the perfect time to get this. No muggles and plenty of time to put back as found. If I could double love this I would! TFTC <3

Coordinates changed to:
S 35° 43.393 E 174° 19.123
Distance from original: 26.0 feet or 7.9 meters.
Shifting a bit from the original location that got muggled, to hopefully make it more secure.

Managed to craft a very close replica of the original, but have shifted the location a few metres, which will hopefully be muggle proof, so long as cachers use the requisite stealth. Hint updated. Enjoy.
On a training run this evening and noticed that this one had gone missing. Not really sure how muggles would have found it, based on the difficulties some cachers have had finding it. Will have to see if it is possible o craft a replacement.
This an excellent camo that fits in well with the environment and surroundings...however taking nothing away from the ingenuity of the C.O....I did find the co ords to be off ...even with the hint it took a period of time to locate...cache us in good condition..many thanks 0B80B8..well done
After meeting up with the CO earlier we decided we just had to look for this one. Finding a park was my greatest worry, but Water St did the trick. A nice walk through a park and we all but there. Then the hunt began. My GPS wasnt a lot of help so read the hint and gravitated there. Hmm still no luck. Kept going back to the hint, stood back and saw something- really? Could it be? Yes it was. Very clever engineering as we have come to expect from this CO. A fav from me. Thanks 0B80B8, catch up on our next trip up
Decided to grab this one on our way back to town after grabbing a few further up this shared path. Knowing of the tricky hides that they have been done in the past, we thought we knew what we were looking for. Although this took us a bit of time to locate, reread the clue several times and we eventually spotted it. Am giving a favourite point as the hide was just so good. TFTC
971. 7:55 pm. Another amazing cache. Glad the pouring rain held off this time and with a bit more experience with this series the cache was found. Fp. TFTC(that is a new local favourite).
We let the gps take us to this and she promptly took us to very near the cache, just on the wrong side of the tracks. After a quick readjustment, we were soon at GZ and the hunt began. Took a little while until the well hidden in plain view cache was almost accidentally discovered.
Have a Fav point for the excellent craftsmanship

Great cache! Stop here after having dinner at the Korean BBQ place next door. TFTC
Was catching up with Riser5 in town today and he suggested doing this cache while we were nearby. He stood back as I hunted for the cache... I checked a couple of places first before something caught my eye. A very well made cache, definitely a favourite! TFTC!
Another very clever hide by 0B8. Had us fooled for a while. Eventually located the hide after reading the hint several times. Another favorite point for this very cool cache.
I'm a long-time veteran of G-2's camouflaged caches in Auckland, so this one was a quick find. Quick in this case was about two or three minutes. TFTC.
This one illuded us for some time and just before we gave up, there is was. Clever hide. Tftc
Awesome... loved it.... did look everywhere first but then stopped and looked and tried something yes.... clever
Well worth the favourite.
After a couple of attempts and an extra hint we were still having trouble. Then an "I wonder" turned into an "oh wow".
Great cache, thanks.

Now I know why I took a couple of times to find this. Well done. A very well made cache.
Very worthwhile. Favorite point added.

The secund FTF - 18.000 km from home! !!!!!!!!!!!!
It was almost on our way. First we looked around the wrong side of the train tracks and of course found nothing. But also on the other side, then recognized as the right side, we discovered no cache. We searched relatively long. No cache .
At some point we decided to go to the other new published cachekoordinates. And there I was successful! Now we knew how a cache of this owner could be made . So of course we quickly went back to our first search. And yes, this time I discovered something I had seen before but hadn't recognized as the cache
You can imagine how happy I was to have found two FTF 18000 km away from home; and it is such an awesome cache!
