A nice little event in some interesting weather conditions this afternoon with the fires. Good to see out 2019 with a cache. And as a bonus, even free beer!! TFTE!
Well this turned out to be good gathering, and a great venue. We were lucky with the drinks getting free one and half price.

A small gathering of cachers to finish 2019 on a high. Sadly with so many fires and severe weather around there was an air of gloom hanging over the day.
Alas we did our best to have fun and lots of laughter. A great spot to meet and catch up.

Despite the wind and smoke, I made it down to say hi to everyone. Chatting about our New Years caching plans - such a nice way to spend New Year’s Eve. Now to find the BIL and head home for the family celebrations. Thanks for a great year everyone and may we all have another good one! TFTC
Shame the current and scary bushfire situation cancelled the usual tradition of a NYE beach picnic and fireworks anywhere but a caching event with friends more than makes up for it. Add a bonus souvenir, end of year goals achieved (nice round totals of 100 days and 910 smileys for 2019) and a designated driver so I could enjoy happy hour. Thanks ozvixen for the lift and ICC for the easy stat. Time for an early night and be more awake than usual for another event “next year”. See you tomorrow!

The staff informed me the venue is only open till 10pm on New Years eve and there are no tickets required for entry.
Look forwarded to seeing everyone on the verandah overlooking the ocean.

I'm not sure if you will need to have a ticket to get in. Years prior tickets were sold for new years and Xmas eve
