Trying to get to 25k by the end of November as part of a personal challenge. So added this little series on to our day. We thought wed better have a cleansing ale as it was quite warm and muggy so after a visit to Brew Lab we stopped here and walked up and down the train lines to find the 4 caches.Lots of new builds here now looks like a nice place to live.TFTC and series we enjoyed our walk

18-Dec-23
tassietan and I are out caching to get the number required for the latest souvenir. We still had a few to get, and thought this series might be interesting. We drove around a bit to find the best park, and set off along the track.tassietan was in front (luckily) and came across a dead (luckily) snake...that was enough for me! I decided that walking the actual tracks was a much better idea!thanks for the cache Diadem.

18-Dec-23
RoadieM and I have wended our way up the eastern side of the Derwent and still have a couple of caches to find to make 12 finds for the latest challenge. This series looked interesting so we decided to have a look for a couple of these. Once we found a suitable park we wended our way up the side of railway track until we came across a dead snake. That was enough for RoadieM and she moved into the middle of the track! We made a quick find of this cache. Thanks Diadem and TaurusSix - you have lived in a few different places in Aus!

Nice relaxing find. I believe it’s the last of this series for me.

Notepad was in the best condition of the lot but curiously had no waterproof zip bag.

Such a peaceful section of track right along Austins Ferry.

A bit of a walk to get here but found ok. Thanks.

The first of this series I have done, it's been on my to do list for a long time but I just kept doing other things, so walked to this one and soon had it found without any problems.

A day out caching with Goose today as Budgietas was just out of ISO and wanted to see the real world, so Goose and I grabbed a few I had missed and a few Goose had missed when I was out with Budgie.

Thanks for the cache.

Found on 26/03/2022 at 11:02:00 thanks to Diadem for placing this cache for me to find.

Today we decided to trek into Hobart and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A very cold, windy and a tad wet but braved the coooooooold weather and rugged up for the occacion.

A nice series and a different area that we have not been seen before following the train track near the shore. Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks TaurusSix and Diadem for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

28-Nov-20
We did this series in 2 halves. We parked at the current end of Stony Point Drive (where the rail line has been temporarily removed) and walked south doing ACT, NSW and TAS. We backtracked and then did the northern half, SA, WA and VIC, having passed VIC on the way north without realizing so did it on he return, I was too interested in the rail siding that must have been for the old Risby timber mill.
The walk was enjoyable, the views were good, and the weather was superb.
It was good to see the area from 'the other side'
