Trying to get to 25k by the end of November as part of a personal challenge. So added this little series on to our day. We thought wed better have a cleansing ale as it was quite warm and muggy so after a visit to Brew Lab we stopped here and walked up and down the train lines to find the 4 caches.Lots of new builds here now looks like a nice place to live.TFTC and series we enjoyed our walk
We found all four caches in this series today, all were in good condition and were quick finds, although NSW took a bit longer to find than the rest. Thanks for the cache Diadem and TaurusSix!
TFTC! First of these four, quick find, and the nearby little tunnel under the railway was very interesting! Peaceful spot on a sunny winter day.
Thanks Diadem for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Where We've Lived - ACT, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1795 at 08:31 on 30/6/2024. Haven’t Geocached in a long while. Thought I’d get a few of the low hanging fruit close to home. Nice walking along the old railway track here.
E-scooter makes for a quick trip.

I was out for a walk in the rain and stopped off to grab this. Didn’t have time for the others in the area this time.
Moved from Brighton to Hobart showground today out this afternoon for a few caches, TFTC.
We drove to this one and again I walked passed this one and it was the goose who spotted it out in the open, so after adding my name if covered it a little better.
A day out caching with Goose today as Budgietas was just out of ISO and wanted to see the real world, so Goose and I grabbed a few I had missed and a few Goose had missed when I was out with Budgie.
Thanks for the cache.

Hi Diadem and TaurusSix, thanks for the cache and the series.
A quick find, and after emptying out the water again, I signed a nearly dry log!
Thanks for the walk and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Enjoying the morning me time and wander down here. My partner happily having breakfast at a cafe, I decided to head of geocaching. I haven’t quite sold her on it yet. One day maybe
Lots of construction going on around here. Beautiful old sandstone culvert nearby. I imagine this place is going to look very different in a year or 2.
Having just walked to 3 States north of here, it was the State / Territory of "Hot Air's" turn [Politically Speaking ha ha]
The Australian Capital Territory Cache was found after a wee search and it's log was signed at 11:37 on 14/6/21 Queens Birthday Holiday Monday and a perfectly still day it was [^]
Cold isn't a problem when it's not being drilled into you with 40 knot winds, so it being so dead still was refreshing... i love days with virtually no wind especially in Winter [^]
The cache and contents are in A1 condition

Today we decided to trek into Hobart and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A very cold, windy and a tad wet but braved the coooooooold weather and rugged up for the occacion.
A nice series and a different area that we have not been seen before following the train track near the shore.
Although this cache was disabled Mr "T" decided to search for the cache, Mrs "T" said that they were all plastic containers. After a search you could see where the cache may of been, so Mr "T" walked down the creek for about 50 meters to the shore and found the cache floating in the water, wow, so we replaced where the GZ pointed. We have placed the cache on the southern side of the creek crossing next to the concrete edge, hidden by a blue stone rocks near orange plastic post..
Thanks TaurusSix and Diadem for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Have messaged the owner on this as there appears to be recent works that may have disturbed gz
Wonderful find, thanks. Lovely walk on early Christmas Day, before family togetherness, noise and fun times. The quietness along the rail line is beautiful.
We did this series in 2 halves. We parked at the current end of Stony Point Drive (where the rail line has been temporarily removed) and walked south doing ACT, NSW and TAS. We backtracked and then did the northern half, SA, WA and VIC, having passed VIC on the way north without realizing so did it on he return, I was too interested in the rail siding that must have been for the old Risby timber mill.
The walk was enjoyable, the views were good, and the weather was superb.
It was good to see the area from 'the other side'

Out with the family exploring caches around Austin's Ferry and Claremont today. This one took a bit of searching. After about 10minutes we looked in the original spot and couldn't believe we had missed it the first time. TFTC
