This was the second cache we targeted today in Aldinga Scrub. Didn't have a lot of time and we were expecting a quick find here. Big dead tree at GZ was the obvious spot but nothing! We searched high and low, in and out. Muggled??? Or just not our day today.

Thanks for going to the effort to prepare, hide and submit this geocache for me to find, another smiley for my geomap.

Thanks to the cache owners who do regular maintenance checks to ensure other players have an enjoyable experience when out in the field.

Your cache has been retrieved and the log book has been signed with the trusty stamp or a good old pen on paper, with the exception of virtuals, EarthCaches and webcams of course.

Finally a decent day weatherwise for an afternoon drive with the muggle Mrs Blackadder. A trip down south to a shopping center and a lunch was enough to appease her who must be obeyed and allow Mr Blackadder to make a few finds that had previously been missed in and around Aldinga.

All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.

This one was quickly spotted at GZ however it seems that the container has been exposed to the elements too long and the latching mechanism was brittle and broke while closing. The log book also need attention as it was wet and soggy.

Took another trip south today, this time with Mr Froghoppin, for some Twosday caching fun.
We walked, we climbed, we calculated, we cached... many logs were logged and this is one!

A caching carnival would be a sight indeed... that's right there may be one in Clare this year.
Be Clare, or Be Square Razz

Our appreciation to cows with guns for placing and maintaining this cache on our southern geo game map Cool

Seeking each and every day finding and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck WinkCoolBig Grin Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

---

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]

Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on Big Grin
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!

Heaps of appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting Cool

Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!

CoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCool

And Happy Twosday to all Big Grin

What else to do on Valentines Day?? Get hot and sweaty doing some caching haha
We came for a walk in an area that had soo much signage about no dogs and cats, well we didnt see any cats, probably cos they were too scared of all the dogs in here. But we do love to pat dogs so it made us happy. Here is some fascinating information ......

Traveled down to the southern beaches for the afternoon with the main aim to find caches from Moana to Aldinga. The quest was successful, with a large blank area of that particular area now on my geocaching map. I enjoyed some nice beach walks, tracking along the clifftops and meandering through the scrub, with some nice easy finds, and some clever and challenging hides. Thanks for the cache cows with guns!

This evening, gridge98 and I planned to visit *Onkaparinga River National Park*, and explore another section on the southern side. We then headed to *Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park* just as the lightning show started, with various extreme warnings feeding through our phone's notifications. We managed to complete that walk just as the heavy rain started to feel, and then proceeded back north towards home, stopping for dinner and a few miscellaneous geocaches.

This geocache was found on our *Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park* loop walk. The sandy trails made it hard going at times, but I found the spider webs strung across the paths even more annoying. We were on a mission to try to complete this walk just as the rain started spitting, but before it came down in cats and dogs. The lightning in the distance also accelerated our visit, but we did manage to find the few geocaches here, including this one. At least this geocache was found rather quickly, and the logbook was in good shape, but one of the snap locks on the container was broken. Currently ok and dry, but perhaps an item to watch. Thanks cows with guns for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Cache was found in the first place we looked. Well there was this string thing hanging out which we saw from 20m away. With the cache container in hand the name of the cache took on a whole new meaning.

Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age. Lovely stroll in a great bit of bush. A bit of rain which suits me.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
