Found while staying in Townsville for a couple of weeks I made a quick find aid by the council who trimmed the r=trees recently. TFTC.
3/4/21 Caching in Townsville over Easter Break. Doing some night time caching TFTC SL
Taking a geo tour around QLD, in Townsville for a couple of days, this is no 3 tyfc.
Picked up the new mailbox nearby in the early afternoon and grabbed this one as well. Quick find, sign and replace, thanks for another cache greencordial.
Found with LJB54. Apologies for the late log - rectifying some drafts that had not been posted.
A reduced amount to the typical ‘peak hour’ traffic we encounter most weekdays had us grabbing the opportunity for a search of this cache. With Council also doing some recent mowing/pruning at GZ was an even better reason to stop and try and avoid the typical creepy crawlies.
A brief stop and realising this cache owner does not have typical cache containers, was not disappointed with this one either and a very creative container. Added our names to the log and returned the cache to its hide.

I visited today. Has lost its Camo, so it would be a great time to find it before I fix it up again
What better way to find a cache then to find it easier without the camouflage? And that’s what I did!

Today we drove around some of the suburbs, looking for caches with the Snakepitters this was a great way to visit the area.
We started with a couple of DNFs but soon our luck changed & we did O'K finding caches in some great locations & some clever cache containers.

Day 2 in Townsville, DiMorgans car today, with Di being the navigator???, DIdn't start of too well with more DNF's than finds, but we slowly tipped the scales in our favour.

Found this while doing some night caching with Team Bombas. Had looked quickly previously but after much persistence we found it this time. TFTC.
Finally found after a few failed attempts on previous trips to the ville. Well camouflaged, nicely done. TFTC
It's a bit of a cold night and I wore thongs will have to reattempt another time, couldn't find the cache unfortunately!
After failing yesterday I returned with a better idea of what to look for and after scratching around I was able to keep the daily streak going. #82.

Found with orth71 on a Saturday afternoon. We had looked the other day (didn't log a end as we were coming back), and with a bit more persistence found.TFTC
I visited this cache this morning. All good here and cache is still place. It is well camouflaged and a bit of a tricker hide.
DNF We parked the geo-mobile at the local shopping centre & walked to GZ ~ Both the geo-munchkins & I headed out hopeful to claim a find, however we could not locate the geocache. Our 2nd DNF for today
Headed straight from the family Christmas party with EatSleepCacheOnline and happened upon this well camouflaged [FTF] hide. Checked either side of the perceived GZ until I went back to the original tree to make the find. Thanks greencordial. ESCO got the cool wooden coin.
Someone yells {FTF} and the hunt is on. Packing up to leave anyway and not too far from our destination.
