Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.This was a nice stop along the track, plenty of water in this dam. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
13226 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1200, We have decided to head down the Birdsville track. All in good condition. Had to move the rather large bull on so we could access the tree SL Tnx Brad&janet Did a bit of twitching here as well
We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Week 2 was Clare to Port Augusta.
Day 17 Clayton Wells to a bush camp at Tippipila Creek.
We are finally on the Birdsville track and picking up a cache or two as we travel. Lots of cattle enjoying the water today - not all of them are still alive. Cache was safe and sound though.
Thanks for contributing to our holiday

We are on a Bucket List Trek, from Busselton, in the South West corner of Australia, up to Cape York, Australia's most Northern land point.
We are travelling through several iconic tracks, through the Gawler Ranges, the Oodnadatta Track, the Birdsville Track, the Bloomfield Track and the PDR Track to Cape York.
As we meander across this awesome country, we stopped here to enjoy the scenery, check out the history and wonder what life was like here in the Outback all those years ago.
Thanks to the CO's for adding to our journey as we head to Cape York.
A little bit of maintenance here

Found with e.gregory1 during a trip from Adelaide to Kulgera via Marree and Coober Pedy, across the Madigan Line in the northern Simpson Desert to Birdsville, and back home via the Birdsville Track. A nice surprise to find this oasis in the desert. Thanks for the cache Brad&Janet!
Found with FeatherWaite as we travelled back to Adelaide after a trip across the northern Simpson Desert.
This was a quick park and grab at a nice little oasis.
The cache container is suffering a bit from exposure to the elements and starting to get brittle and crack. It wont be long before it needs replacing. Unfortunately we didn’t have any suitable containers left.
Thanks Brad&Janet for the cache.

Quite a surprise to see this much water in this location. Were a few birds floating about and cattle as well. Nice spot for a stop... except for the flies!!!

Yes, certainly not an expected spot just here - maybe an mirage?
Very friendly cattle, but we were not deterred from claiming the cache

A lovely little spot for any animal who needs a drink. This spot would save your life - heaps of ducks, cattle and yes, even a cache and clean logbook!
A FTF (yes) for use today. (no Jordywalkabout log. )
A pleasant stop for us to stretch and take a few photos with blue water against the harsh red backdrop.
This cache was found as part of an EPIC TRIP! to cross the Simpson Desert in July 2020. We crossed the desert without incident thanks to the smooth expert driving of H423L. There were many rocks, water holes, railway sidings and big dunes. Of course there was this cache too. The nights were clear and the stars were bright.
Thanks to Brad&Janet and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
This was definitely a veritable oasis for two weary travellers that had emerged from the desert, slipped their toes into a newly opened Queensland, and were on their way home down the Birdsville Track. It was funny that we were checked upon entering Queensland but not on entering South Australia. Oh Covid has been a game changer.
A pleasant find of two very empty clean log books in the cache probably makes it an *FTF* bonus for us too. TFTC and the opportunity to stop and talk to the ducks.
