Unfortunately, some changes in the area have made this hide no longer sustainable. As such, we’ve had to make the decision to archive.

We've removed the container and logbook. Thanks for all the lovely logs.

Disabling cache in preparation for archival. Full explanation to follow with archive log.

Having stayed in the area on previous visits to do the Apple and Devil series, these weren’t there then, it’s great to see some local caches for when we are travelling through, like we were today, but it is all new territory for dalerious who found this cache for us to sign.
Thanks for placing it there.

Parked the car and looked up to see a couple of woolly bullies! Haha! The container was in the open, a toy lying out and the log was a bit wet. Might need fixing. I hid it as her I could but didn’t have a spare log. Sorry.

This one took a bit more searching that what it should have. I walked up and down the fence but still nothing. I went back to the car and checked the hint and started searching again. Then there it was.
All is good and thanks

Lovely cows!

11-Jul-20
2 bulls here, a black and a brown. They sat there looking at me. Kind of like the muggles that managed to drive up on me whilst I had the cache in hand. I pretended to take some photos of the cows but they stayed for quiet some time. I was contemplating driving off with the cache and returning it when i had seen them leave. Eventually they took off.

6/25 for the day

Pulled up in the dark to this one, cache is a little damp inside but should be okay.

Today I decided to head down to Hobart for the day and collect some targeted DT caches and some others in amongst them for the day, apart from the 30mins of rain the day was quite pleasant for caching.
All up 49 finds and 10 adventure finds.

Thanks for the cache

Well today there was not one but two woolly bullies to be seen. One black and one brown. Not too long ago prints of these woolly bullies were all the rage in home décor. Now they are cute but we breed 'angus' and they rule!!!
Thanks, a quick find at GZ.

We found this cache after a day trip to Hobart for work & finally returning to the NW before dark means we have time to collect some geocaches along the way.
Cache was in good condition, however plastic bag was ripped (log still dry). We replaced the plastic bag.

Thankyou for this cache!

Everytime we drive past here we admire the very wooly Highland Coos. Their horns are magnificent. Today we had the opportunity to stop and take a closer look. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nataliec1234 for the cache.

Suscoe woke this morning to steady rain and a cold breeze.
We were heading to Hobart today and we had hope of finding a few caches on our way along the roads that we travelled.
The rain started to clear later in the morning and we ended up having a fine but cold afternoon.
The rain coats were broken out for the first time this trip.

Thanks to Nataliec1234 for this hide, the highland cattle were happy this morning.

Heading home from teh Northwest we called and picked this one up, thanks for the cache.

A quick drive up from Hobart to attend a CITO which involved an overnight in Ulverstone, we got to find over 40 hand picked caches, some were picked for their D/T others for their age and the due to a bit of good luck we got three FTF's but the stand out for me had to be one i couldn't get to 7 years ago due to not wanting to rock hop for over a kilometer in the dark.

Found on 09/02/2020 at 7:27:00 PM thanks to Nataliec1234 for placing this cache for me to find.

It seems every time I make a trip up the highway more caches come out just after I get home. That means we can start planning the next trip! We didn't stop on the way up until near Launceston Airport, saving these until the way back. We made a quick stop, parking across the side road and found this cache quickly.
Thanks Nataliec1234

An overnight trip to the 'sunshine coast of Tasmania' was arranged with stainless steel rat so we could clock up another CITO. We cherry picked a few caches on the trip, oldies, interesting D/Ts, some multis and a selection of GCAs as well. As always our list was bigger that time allowed so some were skipped. We were also lucky to score three first to finds which we were grateful for. Another good weekend away.

Mrs W had been chasing GCA caches from the Tasman to Oatlands/Tunbridge and remembered there was a new cache in the area. Stopped and found with Tassie Trekkers while having a family catchup. I have seen the woolies before while driving past. They are cute. Thanks for making them a reason to stop. TFTC Should have checked phone better, missed the other new one. Will get on the next trip past.

Hi Porkchop
After the usual Sunday drop off at St Johns, we drove straight to Old Tier Road to complete this series
Following these finds, we returned to Oatlands and had lunch at the Bakery
Time was moving on, so this was my last find for the day - had to be back in Hobart to collect Mum and take her home
Caching by phone due to weird circumstances, the cache was Sainted at 1231 hours
TFTC and cheers

Long day completing the Apple Geoart trail, checked into our overnight accommodation and found just enough energy to grab some quick PnGs around town before dinner. Extra bonus smiley as this new publication wasn’t even in my recently uploaded PQ. Luckily J+J was using the live app for up to date opportunities.

Joint FTF, yay!
When I arrived I saw a car parked and thought I was beaten. Then we both got out of our cars at the same time. A nice cache hunt on my way to work.

Hello Nataliec1234 Thank you for the cache

I was on my way to get breakfast at Oatlands and thought I would stop off and have a look for your new cache.

It was nice to be able to get a Joint *FTF * with Diadem.
After a short chat he continued off to work and I went and got my breakfast before going back home.
