Looking for a place to stretch the legs and noticed maintenance had been done on this series, so we decided to enjoy a nice morning walk out here and turn our last two blue faces to smileys. A brief search at gz turned up the prize and we soon had our names added to your log. TFTC and maintenance jinta29.

The geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I today was to head up to Metro to undertake a good walk while collecting a series of geocaches . We chose a cluster of caches that we were going to focus on in the Wellard area . As has become our tradition as we headed up the highway we stopped at the Crooked Carrot for a lovely brunch before continuing our journey . Once nearing our destination which was the Kwinana Loop Trail Banksia Woodland we were not seeing an obvious entrance so in the end we parked up and climbed the fence , once we did this we quickly spotted an entrance .We really enjoyed the walk , the bush was quite dry but beautiful nonetheless and there were several banksias just coming into flower . We were blessed with the amount of bird life around us and the odd lizard or too . We were very glad that it was lizards and not snakes that were around. We appreciate the two different geocachers who had placed these caches giving us a great excuse to visit this area. The caches were a really good variety of types and difficulties which addd to the adventure . All in all we collected 22 traditional caches in this area and only one dnf. We then collected one puzzle cache and one element of an Adventure Lab in the Mandurah area on the way back to Bunbury . Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches

22-Mar-24
We headed out here to check on the state of this cache after reports of some issues. Logs and caches were replaced as required.

04-Mar-24
Axell33 and I came out caching with the weather being a lot cooler today. We decided to get the rest of this series. We have taken a few on a couple of other occasions, so today we finish it. Not a good start though..we looked and searched and came up with nought! So this one is not here but we will keep an eye out for a future find! On we go

04-Mar-24
We set out on this cooler day for some caches and decided to finish this series off. We actually got our first few of this series on the night it was published and have grabbed a few on another occasion but today was the day to finally finish them off. This was our first one and it wasnt a good start. We searched for ages with no luck, checked the clue and still no luck. In the end we called this one. Hopefully it was us just being blind but it may be missing. TFTC jinta29.

Wink

For the first time in quite a while I found the time to go caching for an afternoon. Decided to clear some caches that have been around for a while in the Wellard area.

Great idea for a series, and a lot of very clever caches. A really nice way for me to spend my Day

Great find thanks

Achilles made his third visit to this forest in a short space of time. He loves feeling like he's in a another world, away from Troy and the war and nothing around but time, trees and treasure. His only regret is that he has nearly cleared out the forest of treasure and soon won't have a reason to come here again.

Achilles was amused yet again by this treasure by Lord Jinta after a simple find.

What an amazing series this is probably the best caching trail I have walked with the anticipation of what I will find at each cache. I tried to guess what it would be but the CO outsmarted me at many of them. All the caches I found were in good condition with dry log books. This is one I found. Thanks jinta29 for all the thought and work you have put into these caches. This was a quadruple!

It was raining, like set in, constant rain. I really wanted to get out and cache, so I bit the bullet, pulled the mountain bike out and rode the bush tracks (in the rain).

Even though it was a bit fresh, I had a great day.

Took some work getting to the log!

jinta29, you have put together a clever and well constructed series which each themed cache giving me a smile. Well done!!

I am much more of autumn/winter cacher and I love a series like this which lets me wander out in the bush and take a breather from the city. Had a great morning and great work jinta in your great recycling of old objects into caches. all co-ordinates were spot on for me and I had no dnf for the day..my only company was a few mobs of roos that scattered quickly at my approach. The day started damp but by the time I finished the sun was out and the clouds had scattered..cache and log in excellent condition tftc fav point for the Russian doll approach

05-Apr-21
I got to GZ and I swear I found it but then I found it again and again and again. It was a bit like deja vu.

14-Mar-21
This by far was my favourite cache of the day and a favourite point is being awarded as such.

As I was walking up I was trying to think how you would have put this cache together to reflect its name and I was not disappointed.

Mr Z retrieved the cache from its hide location and we all worked together to get to the log sheet.
__________

What a lovely morning out in the bush with Mr Z & Mr T. With a cooler outlook for the day we packed up everything we needed for the day and headed out to Kwinana.

The kids were glad that we got to walk along the train line for a while but were a little disappointed that no trains came past, something that was rectified on the drive home, and I was glad that the tracks were mostly solid and for the great coordinates at each stop.

I really enjoyed this series and being able to talk to the kids about the different vernacular we use in this game. We finished the day with 18 finds and 1 pesky DNF.
__________

Thanks jinta29 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2774 for me.

I was feeling a bit mopey, it being hump day and all. I thought that, rather than sit around by myself all night, I'd get out and see some more of the area and collect some more geocaches before I move back to the east coast in a couple of weeks. This series was not too far from home, so I checked the times of sunset, civil and nautical twilights, and set out.
The evening was getting prettier and prettier by this time.
Thank you for an awesome series, jinta29. I'll be back with a friend (who is always cynical about geocaching, but I think this is a good introduction) in the next week or so Smile

28-Nov-20
Find 5 of 30 on a mountain bike ride around Leda reserve. We really enjoyed this incredibly creative series which had us guessing about what pun would be deployed next. All easy finds due to good co-ords and thoughtful placement. All quality caches which we hope last for many more cachers to enjoy.

All good here.

TFTC jinta29!

The weather is lovely and cool so decided to tackle this new series with a combination of the cycling and walking.
Well put together and love the effort put into the cache hosts.

You won’t find anyone who hates multi caches more than me. Liked this trad though. Thanks.

06-Nov-20
Thanks jinta29 for placing and maintaining this series. Good to see more series from you. Out this way doing a loop with the usual suspects for down this way, as well as the little EGB2020 getting pushed through the track, by the end of the loop it was clearly passed bed Tim for one in the group. TFTH

LOL that is never going to get wet

03-Nov-20
After getting a phone call from B12 about these caches we decided to team up and knock one of the loops off. Baby emma came along for the ride and it was great to finally meet her. Bit hard going in some spots with a pram lol and im glad i decided to bring a torch as it was nearly 8PM when we finished. All caches were quickly found and i think emma was quite glad when we had finished as it was definately her home time. TFTC jinta29

Out and about with Cravo10 and ooh yeh go complete one loop of the geo jargon series. Was tough going after mrs ooh yeh’s back surgery and pushing mini cacher egb2020 in the geopram through some sandy parts but enjoyed the variety of containers and hides, despite finishing a bit later than planned and completing the last half a dozen by torch light.

Will be back soon to complete the remainder of the series. Thanks Jinta29

The Better Half and I had visiters when these caches were published but they left soon after and as we were going to head to Wellard with out granddaughter anyway came down to area. Parked to the south and started there to do the whole loop in one go. All caches were found without problems. Logs signed and caches returned as found.

This one had a blank log so *FTF* at 1218 hrs

Thanks jinta29 for placing all the caches in the series out to be found.
