After dropping my son at Paintball nearby I headed here for a wander through the bushland. Great place for a walk, only saw one other person while here. All hides found pretty quickly. TFTC

I saw that there was a nice day in between the showery ones so decided to have a go at these. Apologies for the generic log. All caches found in great condition unless otherwise stated. Thank you for the work that went into placing these. TFTC I mistakenly thought that this had no log sheet! And the cache had been tampered with..... however... it is there! I should learn not to jump to conclusions.

The geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I today was to head up to Metro to undertake a good walk while collecting a series of geocaches . We chose a cluster of caches that we were going to focus on in the Wellard area . As has become our tradition as we headed up the highway we stopped at the Crooked Carrot for a lovely brunch before continuing our journey . Once nearing our destination which was the Kwinana Loop Trail Banksia Woodland we were not seeing an obvious entrance so in the end we parked up and climbed the fence , once we did this we quickly spotted an entrance .We really enjoyed the walk , the bush was quite dry but beautiful nonetheless and there were several banksias just coming into flower . We were blessed with the amount of bird life around us and the odd lizard or too . We were very glad that it was lizards and not snakes that were around. We appreciate the two different geocachers who had placed these caches giving us a great excuse to visit this area. The caches were a really good variety of types and difficulties which addd to the adventure . All in all we collected 22 traditional caches in this area and only one dnf. We then collected one puzzle cache and one element of an Adventure Lab in the Mandurah area on the way back to Bunbury . Thanks for hiding and maintaining these caches

Out with axell33 and thought we would finish this series. We have had a couple of goes at it in the past, so with good weather today we set off..As we near the end of the series this was another quick find of an invaluable piece of equipment necessary for our game! Thanks jinta29

Nearing the end of this cool series we made it to this one and once again made a nice quick find. We signed your log and returned your cache back to where it resides. Its always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing well. TFTC jinta29.

Wink

For the first time in quite a while I found the time to go caching for an afternoon. Decided to clear some caches that have been around for a while in the Wellard area.

Great idea for a series, and a lot of very clever caches. A really nice way for me to spend my Day

This cache needs a new log book, unfortunately I did not have a spare on me today

What an amazing series this is probably the best caching trail I have walked with the anticipation of what I will find at each cache. I tried to guess what it would be but the CO outsmarted me at many of them. All the caches I found were in good condition with dry log books. This is one I found. Thanks jinta29 for all the thought and work you have put into these caches. It took me a bit to find this log.

The two Geo-hubby’s (noticed there was no cache for this classification!) walked this series while Mrs ILT and I sought out other caches in the surrounds. Thanks Jinta

Tftc, interesting!

It was raining, like set in, constant rain. I really wanted to get out and cache, so bit the bullet, pulled the mountain bike out and rode the bush tracks (in the rain).

Even though it was a bit fresh, I had a great day.

Nice and quick find here. Wasn’t expecting to see what I saw in the cache.

jinta29, you have put together a clever and well constructed series which each themed cache giving me smile. Well done!!

I am much more of an autumn/winter cacher and I love a series like this which lets me wander out in the bush and take a breather from the city. Had a great morning and great work jinta in your great recycling of old objects into caches. all co-ordinates were spot on for me and I had no dnf for the day..my only company was a few mobs of roos that scattered quickly at my approach. The day started damp but by the time I finished the sun was out and the clouds had scattered..cache and log in excellent condition tftc

I’m sure this cache could tell some tales.

After a late start to the day I only managed to complete one circuit of this series today but can't wait to come back for the rest. Very enjoyable series! TFTC jinta29

Would love to hear the story of this container one day, it appears to have taken a tumble at some point.

Struggling to reach it from track side Mr Z suggested trying from the back and soon had the cache in hand.
__________

What a lovely morning out in the bush with Mr Z & Mr T. With a cooler outlook for the day we packed up everything we needed for the day and headed out to Kwinana.

The kids were glad that we got to walk along the train line for a while but were a little disappointed that no trains came past, something that was rectified on the drive home, and I was glad that the tracks were mostly solid and for the great coordinates at each stop.

I really enjoyed this series and being able to talk to the kids about the different vernacular we use in this game. We finished the day with 18 finds and 1 pesky DNF.

Thanks jinta29 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2764 for me.

I was feeling a bit mopey, it being hump day and all. I thought that, rather than sit around by myself all night, I'd get out and see some more of the area and collect some more geocaches before I move back to the east coast in a couple of weeks. This series was not too far from home, so I checked the times of sunset, civil and nautical twilights, and set out.
Not only was it quite dark by now, but the insects were coming out a starting to bite...
Thank you for an awesome series, jinta29. I'll be back with a friend (who is always cynical about geocaching, but I think this is a good introduction) in the next week or so Smile

28-Nov-20
Find 27 of 30 on a mountain bike ride around Leda reserve. We really enjoyed this incredibly creative series which had us guessing about what pun would be deployed next. All easy finds due to good co-ords and thoughtful placement. All quality caches which we hope last for many more cachers to enjoy.

So good to be reunited with what was probably my first GPSR, from 2000-2001 ish. It was a revelation when hiking in the UK, back in the day - even more so being able to overlay and review the tracks at home after a hike to see where I'd got lost. Memories of scanning in paper maps and digitally joining them together for use in OziExplorer, funnily enough. Well done for putting it to some use now the screen has pooped itself Wink

TFTC jinta29!

Today's weather are very nice - accompany with K.B. for the day, we enjoyed doing caches and labs.
Thanks jinta29 for the cache and hunt Cool

The weather is lovely and cool so decided to tackle this new series with a combination of the cycling and walking.
Well put together and love the effort put into the cache hosts.

TFTC jinta29 this is find #10847 for us.

I’ve got an old yellow etrex and I’m sure it still works. I couldn’t stand that it didn’t have maps so it never actually got much use before I upgraded. Kudos for finding the perfect size of bison.

06-Nov-20
Thanks jinta29 for placing and maintaining this series. Good to see more series from you. Out this way doing a loop with the usual suspects for down this way, as well as the little EGB2020 getting pushed through the track, by the end of the loop it was clearly passed bed Tim for one in the group. TFTH

That’s cache 400 for us thanks

After getting a phone call from B12 about these caches we decided to team up and knock one of the loops off. Baby emma came along for the ride and it was great to finally meet her. Bit hard going in some spots with a pram lol and im glad i decided to bring a torch as it was nearly 8PM when we finished. All caches were quickly found and i think emma was quite glad when we had finished as it was definately her home time. TFTC jinta29

Out and about with Cravo10 and ooh yeh go complete one loop of the geo jargon series. Was tough going after mrs ooh yeh’s back surgery and pushing mini cacher egb2020 in the geopram through some sandy parts but enjoyed the variety of containers and hides, despite finishing a bit later than planned and completing the last half a dozen by torch light.

Will be back soon to complete the remainder of the series. Thanks Jinta29

The Better Half and I had visiters when these caches were published but they left soon after and as we were going to head to Wellard with out granddaughter anyway came down to area. Parked to the south and started there to do the whole loop in one go. All caches were found without problems. Logs signed and caches returned as found.

This one had a blank log so *FTF* at 1415 hrs

Thanks jinta29 for placing all the caches in the series out to be found.
