Logs
Found by D and J. After lots of frolicking in the bushes, we found it. Finally avenged a DNF. Signed as TBA. TFTC
My wife and I were out doing the Wherigo around Hastings and had to pull in for a search for this hide. You should never look a gift horse in the mouth unless that horse is actually a crocodile that hasnt eaten for a few days.We didnt think we would find it because the gardeners in the area are clearly held in high esteem. Its the same esteem you wish your kids would give you before they complain about the internet not working.I think we read a few logs before disturbing the fauna or flora (whichever one plants are). Then the hide was soon unveiled. tftc
I had a good look without looking too suspicious. With the cache container different and also the clue no longer relevant, I will probably have to try another day.
Found log but wasn't in a container, kids, and I will replace it with a new one tomorrow.
Easy findcon a wander around Hastings, quiet here today being the public holiday. TFTC Greetings from South Australia
Found it once i turned around lol. Also found my first trackable so will set that on it's way
Thank you for making it easy it was my first geocache I found with my poppa
Last time I was here some locals were having a party so I couldn't get near. This time I just met a young lad playing pokemon. Coords are spot on although I wouldn't want that hint in my roast lamb. (but there are much fresher ones not far away) . TFTC
Popped over to Hastings today and picked up a couple of caches on the way. Once in Hastings we drove and wandered round picking up a few caches as we went.We parked nearby and wandered over to GZ - a familiar hint and we soon found the cacheTFTC Tim and Viv - ddm
Located this one whilst doing the central Hastings Ad Lab. Took a moment or two to spot. Not sure how the hint applies, therefore it wasn't any help!#6890. TFTC.
Nice easy find for me today....after a long hot day in the sun at Windsor Park watching Year 6 Cricket!
Nach einigem Suchen konnten wir diese Dose finden. Unsere Hnde sind etwas zerkratzt. Dafr riechen sie fein.Merci
Out on Hastings just went to the store and got a Rushmunroe ice cream and me and my granddad started walking to the cache. On my first look I couldnt see the cache but after telling my granddad the hint he found it not to long later! Very smart hide and a cunning clue. Tftc!
First new years cache for the start of the this year 2024. Great hide. Reminds me of roast chicken . Cheers
Yay we came back and found it im so happy that someone put back in because this was my last day in HB before heading home to Hamilton so glad to have found it. Cheers
Couldnt find it we looked around for ike a good 20mins put my hand into things and rummaged and still cant find either someone keeps taking it out or its really hard to find
Have just seen this was replaced so raced in to Hastings to find it with mrlgrose, teamrosenz and greermae23, even with 4 sets of eyes soent 15 minutes looking for what seemed a simple cache. Mrlgrose found it 10 mtrs away in a wheelie bin by the roadside! Have buried it slightly as someone doesn't seem to want this cache here!
Found it in the bin, not sure if it was meant to be there. Cords were a bit off. TFTC!
Saw this had been replaced so made an evening hop over to Hastings. Was certain itd be an instant find after our trip out a few weeks ago. When wed been looking all around greater GZ for around 15 minutes, I lost confidence and began to suspect maybe someone had seen CO replacing cache, so headed to the nearest bin, which was a wheelie bin probably due to be emptied tomorrow morning. There it was sitting right on top, fortunately on a dry clean styrofoam box. Couldnt believe it.Made sure to replace in as muggle-proof a way as possible in the correct location.Overall really happy and relieved with this find, particularly because I feel pretty bad for the CO with how often this one seems to be muggled.***Future finders, it seems it is imperative to replace exactly as found for caches survival.Cheers
Looked all around the pathway as per the description and hint but couldn't find it
Sadly could not find it. Not sure if it's still there in the rosemary as we had a real good look around, unless it's not in the rosemary?
Nice easy cache find whist doing the nearby Ad Lab stage. Looking forward to the war horse statue when it comes next year.
A weekend away in Hawkes Bay with mrs c following my recent work in Australia including a 5 and a half week stay in a shared tent in a field. Good to be back on solid ground, with walls of substance and off a camp-bed! We stayed in Havelock North at the work 'bach' and visited Hastings and Napier. Completed a couple of Ad Labs, and found a modest amount of caches too, thanks to all COs.

Yay first Geocache that I've looked for, spent too long looking for it than we should have but pretty easy spot when I think about it
First geocache find!! May have spent too much time trying to find it lol. So we went off track a bit. Overthinkers! The hint finally sunk in. Thanks for placing it!
Showed up on our electric scooters, great hiding, amazing adventure. GREAT cache
#13,032. I am driving up to Napier today and stopping to pick up a few caches along the way. This was one of them. After looking around for a bit the hint finally sunk in. Then I looked more carefully and saw the cache. Signed the logsheet and replaced the cache as found. Thanks d3ano19722 for the cache.
A straightforward find while doing the Ad Lab in the area. Thanks for placing the cache
Found after beers and dude food at Brave Brewing. Nice quick find and sign TFTC
