Nice viewing spot from here.Plenty of water in the river after the recent rains as well .Thanks to Tankengine for the cache hide and viewing area.

I past by some weed sprayers just near here. They were just spraying the blackberries on the edge of the road. Kind of futile considering how much there is. I needed to do a few loops of the area before making this find. Nice views too. Thanks for the fun!

A beautiful afternoon with a spring-like feel - so what better to do then see what Paddy's been up to?

The road up the last pinch here is quite eroded so I elected to walk to the obvious turn off point, and from there it was an easy stroll through light scrub and flowering wattle to GZ where the cache was located without issue and in good condition.

Spectacular views from here and really steep slopes on both sides of the river. A wonderful vantage point, Tankengine - a favourite from me!

As it turned out my last find for the day. Was trying to get another cache, but decided this one was closer....although the walk down was interesting. Parked at the top and took my time getting down to GZ, where the cache was spotted without issue. Log was signed, cache returned and it was time to admire the view. Stunning in the mid afternoon sunlight....yep, I saw the sun today. Then it was the huff and puff back to the car and hopefully time for one more.

Thanks TE....neat location with great views of the river. Fav point added.

Did a little drive around Paddy Forest, the car wasnt too happy about getting off road but it managed it OK.

Unfortunately I forgot to download the list so didnt have access to any hints or logs, but I found all of them except the first.

No signs of a party anymore, but I found the cache

Found with The Matetrix and geokids 2 and 3 on a fantastic Father's Day. Camped overnight at the Cotter then headed into Pierce's Creek Forest on exploration. Parked nearby and headed easily through to GZ. A quick find, sign and replace, then back to the geomobile and the fun drive along the tracks to the next one. What a great place to for a party, or even a quiet overnight camp. TNLNSL TFTC

Another fun little late afternoon drive out with our new puppy - not a breed known to be very adventurous but she is fitting in nicely and handled the track to GZ with ease!
A nice little spot to explore, cache found with no issues.

I was sitting at home due to the Coronavirus and going a bit stir crazy. It was a nice day out so decided some caching was required to help my mental health. A quick find after a short walk in. TFTC

Walked in with the missus from Paddys River Road. This was our daily exercise after too long in the house. My GPs had a fit and took me 20 metres away from the obvious spot. After 10 minutes of fruitless searching looked at the GPs, it now said 382 metres away!!! A reboot and another look had me walk back to the obvious spot for a quick find.
Really nice views and heaps of water in the river.
On the way back the missus cleaned up the bottles and cans from Paddy Party. Took them back to the car where the refunds will go to the Weston Scouts. TFTC.

Parked next to the campfire and then went for the nice walk down to GZ. Great views again from this spot. Cache found all OK.

Not many parks are open for walking, but this area is currently open, so I decided to head for here. An easy drive to near GZ and then a short walk to GZ. Cache soon found. Interesting to see how full the river was below after all the welcome recent rain. TFTC.

With the talk of the 'Total Fire Ban' coming back in force tomorrow we decided that today may be the last day for a while to be permitted in the reserve to pick up this cache. We have actually missed walking down these parts of the Cotter so this was a good reason to come down this far.

We were surprised by the large numbers of cars on the road and on the trails. We were also shocked at the terrible condition of the bush since we were last here in the Spring. Every second tree or shrub seemingly dead or under 'no water' and heat stress. As we reached GZ we noted that the river below was parched and lifeless. The ground around us was hot and powdery making it slippery to walk as there is little traction beneath our feet. We took a few photos and made a quick exit as a mid morning hot wind started blowing through the dry bush and knew that it will take very little to ignite the bushland. When will it rain again? Woohoo! *FTF* #153 @ 4:07 PM

I had just got back from Flea Creek and was checking my email and saw this had been published 40 minutes ago. So I turned around and headed back out. Parked at the party spot and headed down to the cache site. Nice view and interesting cris-crossed animal tracks on the hillside opposite. A few sad puddles are all that remain of Paddy's River.

Thanks TE
