It would almost seem like a crime to visit Adelaide and not grab a Used 2B a Church cache. So, to avoid the felony, I grabbed a couple of the series on the way to the airport for my flight home. With the ground work complete, GZ became obvious on approach and it was just a matter of narrowing down the location. The cache was found after a brief search and my name added to the log. I can safely return to Brisbane with no crime committed. Cheers Freddo.
Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was purely caching focused, mostly targeting specific caches from a pre-organised list, but a couple others were added to the agenda when we happened to be passing right by while en route to another. Yet another long, productive day with a very high success rate. We ended the evening with a pub dinner and a ride around the ferris wheel at Glenelg. This was a quick uneventful stop, nice and quiet on a Sunday. Thanks for the cache
TFTC! Out caching in Port Adelaide today in the chilly weather with James0116 and Little Fingers!
After a great Leap Day Mega event a couple of days ago and a nice road trip to Victor Harbor and catch up in Glenelg yesterday, today I was mostly by myself on my last day here apart from when I attended a couple of events. I drove around doing whereigos, a few multis and a few puzzles I had solved. As I got slowly closer to the airport I did some ad labs and a fair few trads until I had to head off to catch my flight. It was the end of an enjoyable few days. This was a nice quick find. Pretty container too. Thanks Freddo for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Adelaide with a group consisting of Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, LaFavoriteCacher, albida33 and contesta and signing for the day as SALI24. Great to be here collecting caches for Leap Day. Tftc
Find # 11536Well here it is, time for another MEGA, and an extra special one to. Its a leap year! So before the main event I decided Id head down to Millicent and surrounds to collect some geoart, and some of the all important (to me) SFE challenges Day 6 and thankfully not so hot today for Leap Year Day event Out chasing as many types as I can find today, preferably with high D/T and in different counties around the city. Out with the Canberra cachers this afternooon. Signing as SAI24.Thanks Freddo for Used 2B a Church Micro #0118 - Port Adelaide
Date: February 29, 2024 Time: 4:30 PMFind #14743Adventured today with beckNmonts, Earthbound Chief and Team_Crumble. A fabulous leap forward pretty much all day.Massive thanks go to Freddo for placing this one. ??
Saved this nice close to the hotel cache for todays fun. Got a few of these now, boosting my WHG numbers without having to solve and head out to the massive trail just out of town. Kia OraWell the day is finally here and I leap-t out of bed good and early, same as the last few days, before 0430! Had a plan to catch up on some NZ-Time work then head into and back from the City before it got busy. Only targets were the two Webcams, though I was close enough to a Virtual to grab that find too. My aims for the day, with pretty much a full choice of all I need to add 29 Feb to my profile badges, and other stats, is to go slow and steady and get all I seek. Have been doing a few recces last few days so know where I need to go, and hope to get to the MEGA around lunch-time for an hour or so. Hoping work isn't too onerous today, but you never know.
Today we found Used 2B a Church Micro #0118 - Port Adelaide on our travels. On a brief visit to Adelaide for Leaping Forward so many caches, not enough time! Thanks Freddo for being part of our geocaching fun.
Logging this one with Luckyl10n. We enjoyed our time completing these few wherigo caches...
Day 6 of my Great Leap Forward 2024 trip. Snaking my way around the countryside. Today I joined half the Canberran Caching Community to start the urban caching proper. Signing as SALI24 (SA Leap invasion 24) - Kittykatch, LaFavoriteCacher, barb2e, albida33 and me. Today, we are also joined by Contesta. Love Wherigos that can be played. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Today we attended the Mega event "The Great Leap Forward" and then met up with Ahomburg, BeckNmonts and Earthbound Chief for a day of driving, walking, eating, getting too much sun once again and of yes - caching!Thank you Freddo for placing and maintaining this cache for our fun today.
Found quite quickly as coords were good.Signing as SALI-24 South Australia Leap Invasion made up of kittykatch, isopeda, contests, Lafavoritecacher, barb2e, Albida.Down for the Great Leap Forward. Looks like a lot of people are. Day 2 Mega Day!Thanks for getting me out and about Freddo
Another quick find in this great series in a busy little spot. Thank you for the smiley and the fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * *The DayIts Leap Day! This date and its related mega are what brought me to Australia earlier than I planned, but I was super excited to be caching with the South Australia Leap Invasion 24 team of Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, Joolay, Contesta, and Albida33. I cant imagine a better local group with whom to cache and attend The Great Leap Forward. We started out bright and early without Albida33 and Contesta to snag some targeted caches in town before traffic was too horrible. We had already made a plan to meet them at the event. We added them to our entourage after the event for a full day of excellent caching. It was a grand day overall. So many cool caches, laughs, adventures, and memories. Happy Leap Day, everyone!
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 6. Today is the big day. With the Mega on for the 29th of February there were plenty of targets for the day. I joined kitty katch, Joolay, isopeda, contesta, LaFavorite cacher and barb2e,. We signed as SALI24. I did a few caches on the way to the Mega and then joined in the fun of a few onsite caches along with the LABs and Gadget caches. Once the opening ceremony was done, we jumped in the cars and headed out with a goal to get one of as many of the cache types as possible. We managed all eleven as a team, with the city Webcams done in the morning, even though I cannot get one without going to Victor Harbour. The day ended with the mega closing ceremony and dinner before heading home to try and get some sleep before getting going again tomorrow. These super simple where-i-gos are great, almost impossible to go wrong and the numbers available with the least amount of fuss. Happily the cache was found smoothly as well. Thanks for the cache Freddo45650.29 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching HQ Lackey 2021 tag A#446**Albida**

#19260 - 4:16:00 PM; Day three of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip. After spending the night at Tailem Bend, feathertop and I set off for Adelaide, collecting most of Bindi' GeoMobiles and a few others in and around Monarto as we passed. It was then on through the city and north to Two Wells, Virginia then across to Gawler to collect some LGAs enroute. Finally it was back to Port Adelaide and on to our accommodation to freshen up for an event. All up 55 finds and 2 DNFs for the day. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. TFTC Freddo
Found it! Solved the Wherigo and made the short walk to GZ.Today is forecast to be fairly warm so headed to the coast with the aim of finding as many caches as possible starting from North Haven and heading south along the coastline. After reaching Semaphore I ended up finishing the day in the Port Adelaide area. TFTC!
I was in the area, so decided I would try to pick up a couple of geocaches that I had done all the hard work for, but just hadnt signed the log. Found easily.
I got the coordinates for the final location, but I wasnt going that direction, so Ill do it later.
A big Saturday adventure with sir_spectre grabbing a few more caches and for me revisiting a few old haunts. A great fun day, finishing with an event.
Thanks for all who placed and maintained caches for us to find.

quick find. 2nd wherigo of the day. Found after the Everyone needs lunch, right? event. Finally a late lunch.
Found with Mogni. We came down today to complete some Adventure labs stages we started last time we were in the area, do some other adventure labs from start to finish, we also attended a couple of events, a got a wherigo on my last calendar day in any calendar month or year ( 31 out of 31 ), plus we got a reasonable number of puzzles, multi's and trads along the way while going from cache to cache. I also got to clear a couple of DNF's since they have been replaced since by last visit. The rain held off for most of the day, just a few patches of rain till we were at the SAGA dinner event.

Always struggle with Wherigo. We have new phones too, so have converted to Apple. After downloading, following instructions, WE did IT! Thanks Freddo for another adventure
Needed our 1 for the day, had some dinner nearby and grabbed this one that was solved a while ago. TFTC Freddo the Non Believer

Walked down and completed the virtual section to get the final coordinates and walked around to get a quick find at the final.

A very similar situation to a nearby cache that required the right time to visit in order to avoid muggle interference. GZ was deserted and we did not hesitate to conduct a short but thorough search to locate the prize TNLNSL TFTC
Well PrezDough gets the accolades for this one. He managed to download the cartridge and we soon made our way to the start point where we quickly answered the question and fortunately we soon had the coordinates for GZ.
Managed to make our way there and the cache was soon found.
Fortunately not many muggles in the area and the log was soon signed with our monikers and replaced appropriately.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.

Found with CJDenno. We were in the Port Adelaide area today and noticed a easy wherigo cache. We went to the church to answer the question and soon got the coordinates for this cache. We parked not that far away from GZ and looked for it. We tried to avoid the ants while looking for the cache. We found this cache and soon logged our names. The cache, container and logbook are in excellent condition.

Goldy's first Wherigo.
At the start I didn't quite understand what was going on with these and what they were as there's so many different types of theme it seems (and I still don't fully understand).
However, this one had an easy difficulty rating so I thought I'd give it a go.
With the coordinates I set off to GZ.
The cache was found on the ground and was visible from a few metres away.
I'm not sure what happened but I've returned it to where I thought it's supposed to be.
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks Freddo for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1585 on the 30th of August 2022.

I visited Port Adelaide for the day with the initial aim of looking for finds at the market before searching for caches to find. It is quite amazing how many 'used to be a church' ex-churches there are. This was a straightforward find here. TFTC Freddo
A nice little walk around. Got asked if we needed a hand while at the used to be church
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!

TFTC. Didnt see a church but got to GZ and signed log but no church here either but there was a pew Left baby lid
Grabbed the coords after being in the zone and found the cache after a short drive.
First time using where I go. Took a while to work it out but got there in the end
It’s been a while since I’ve done a wherigo! Don’t you love it when you can’t park near WP1, and you finish up parked next to the endpoint? I like the rainbow camo! TFTW Freddo.
After a dip at Semaphore South had a little wander around Port Adelaide. This was the fourth of five caches of three different types that were found on the shortish way home.
Another Used 2B a Church found, only 143 to go.
Thanks to Freddo for placing this cache here for me to find

Today I needed 6 cache finds and figured that goal would be easily obtained[^]
I was wrong, as I didn't leave home until after 9pm and hence I only just made the 6 finds before midnight! Especially as I had 2 DNFs
There were 2 caches found after midnight too so the total for the run was 8 finds
My 6th cache and found at 23:54[^] Got to love a quick whereigo and especially when 'geocacher' is an option for religion! [^]

We have been watching with interest all these "Used 2B a Church Micro" caches popping up all over South Australia and decided to visit some of them on this unplanned trip.
We also enjoy Whereigo's so we weren't going to go passed this . The cartridge worked well and we soon had a seat of co-ords that had us heading towards GZ where we were very grateful that it was a quiet New Years day, we feel at times that this cache may be difficult to retrieve but not so today and our name has been added to the log before the cache was replaced as found.
Thanks again for the cache Freddo the non Believer

Happy birthday to me! I think even the CO is also a May Baby. May babies are cool! There are many of us. At last count at least one geocacher in SA for every day of May. After brekky out in a rare chair at a cafe with the not so little monkey, coffee and chat on the run with her grandma, then lunch by the beach with SeaEagle2 I finally was free to grab a birthday cache before finding my way to work. Now that I have mastered the art of downloading wherigo files to the right spot, ok so it might be there a few times, I made a quick find of the co ords. Raining (again) I cheated and drove to a spot a bit closer and watched the “interesting” locals doing their business. Remembering Sam from the footy show taking them on brings a smile to my face....
GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent, looking forward to it!! A new date has been proposed for October, fingers crossed.

Now that the Wherigo app is up and running, Owl has been keen to get back and do some of them. This was an easy one, though the app didn't seem to want to accept Owl's religion. (Hope this isn't reflected in the census figures....)
An evening caching run was planned by 3 of the befuddled puzzlers group of animals. At the last minute the Starfish called to say he could not make it which left the Rat and the Adder to make their way to seek out a few more of the newer published caches around the suburbs.
As the Adders and the Rat are not experts in using wherigo apps we struggled to understand where we were meant to be to gain the info needed. Circling around and around we wanted to answer the optional question but had no idea what we were seeking. It was only playing with the app that the Adder pressed a button and the final location was revealed. Perhaps we are just getting too long in the tooth for all this high technology of today.
Off to GZ where the Adder made the colourful find.

Cache #2393. Fourth find for today. Today's fifth cache we tried of the same owner.
Another Wherigo cache. Drove all the way to Port Adelaide, for this Wherigo cache.
Parked close to listed location, and did the Wherigo.
Final location is not too far, so we walked to there.
Cache has been found easily. No one was around, as it's public holiday today.
Signed the log book, and placed the cache back.

Due to the current world situation (Covid-19 & social distancing) I'm using this time to catch up on my back log of unlogged finds.
The day started with an early morning event, followed by caching in the city, before attending a morning CITO. Afterwards a group of geo-gals & geodog went caching for the day. The aim... find many cache types on Leap Day... it's going to be a long wait for the types missed.
This cache was found with the company of: hevwalker, skuzzybear, earthlight & locus cache... & geodog Rex.

I had visited the starting location for this cache and completed the simple wherigo cartridge to obtain the final coordinates while in the area for another cache some weeks ago. However, at the time I thought it might be prudent to save the find for today as I was keen to find a wherigo on Leap Day and I didn’t have too many nearby others to choose from.
This morning FeatherWaite and I called by to make the find. Fortunately it was relatively quiet and we were able to park close by. The cache was a quick find.

Not a huge numbers day, but instead we filled a few gaps in our finds for the 29th Feb!
All the way from Riverton to Mt Barker and back with some interesting targets along the way.
Any Port in a storm when you need a particular cache type... a handy once was church.

( One could argue the teal colour is a religious symbol down here... )

A different type of Church Micro - a Wherigo. One on my list today and successfully completed TFTC
A lovely afternoon to get off work early and take a walk around the area with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) ! TFTC!
Following work, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I planned on heading north towards Outer Harbor and Osborne to do a few caches around the wetlands. We had spied the Excelsior shipwreck from previous visits around here, and so we thought it would be a nice evening to follow some of the paths. Truthfully, I thought there would be a few wrecks to see, not just that one, but it was still a pleasant evening. We managed to check out Falie Reserve just around the corner, before heading back home completing a few* Used 2B a Church* caches needing various cache types for today.
This really wasn't much of a church anymore, as both [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) tried to find the remains/original part of the church. Despite that, we followed the Wherigo's instructions, took a short drive, to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14) the Non-Believer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

So went home and used the alternative method to download and move the cartridge to the appropriate location in the android unit. This morning I traveled to the area and commenced the process. Answered a question, got the location of the final, plotted the location and traveled there.
Once at GZ, the hide was quickly identified, and being early in the morning it was relatively muggle free. Grabbed the cache in the second place I felt, extracted the log, stamped and replaced. Nice little whereigo.
Interesting, this is find No 3456.

I have a funny feeling the Wherigo didn’t need me and I didn’t need it. Spent enough time trying to download it that it must have felt sorry for us and easily revealed its secret. TFTC
Well we rolled up.
Ah, the highly supported Whereigo by ground speak...
I had trouble downloading and H423L got it before me. Eventually I had it. We walked over and bingo, We had an answer. Happiness at last.
I have seen one of these hides before.... well done!
Thanks to Freddo and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

My aim for today was to attend the Short Week Coffee event early this morning then continue north to find a few caches that have been published since I was last in the area. [^]
I had 14 on my list (and managed to find another stray as I was passing), starting at Henley Beach, going as far as Largs Bay, then heading back to North Adelaide via Findon to complete two Adventure Labs. I had a very successful day with 15 finds no DNF's and 6 Lab caches.
A nice easy Wherigo and another Used 2B. Managed to snag a very convenient car park and only a short walk to GZ where I found this one in the second place I looked/felt.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

Today I had convinced the Geohusband to come out for a bit of caching. We headed down to Port Adelaide area with Rex the geohound, where we found some new caches, went for a big walk to Pelican Point, had a picnic, found a lab cache did some cache maintenance and hid a new cache.
Fun day out and then home and a 2 hour walk at Shepherds Hill.
This was the last find for the day. Is this a church we must have blinked and missed it but we did find a lovely cache all the colors of the rainbow. TFTC Freddo

A quick entry of the relevant answer...a short walk...a quick find...nice coloured camo. TFTC
A wherigo, well I don’t mind one of these, a church was looked at the question was answered and I was off. I love the LGBTQI container.
Found with CPwanderer and clare007.
Thankfully clare had the required technology as mine wouldn't cooperate.
Quick find once we reached GZ.

Thanks for the cache freddo, first whereigo. Travelled all over adelaide today, from the airport to the city and then finally Port Adelaide area, been a long day!! - webbers
Found It!
Jesus has left the building. But I couldn't even find the building. Maybe Jesus and his followers couldn't either. Anyhow, that didn't matter for the wherigo and I soon had the final coords. And then after finding a free carpark at GZ, I soon had the cache in hand!

The final day to try and achieve my current caching goals to reduce the number of calendar days that I need both multicache and mystery caches so I can have a crack at filing the calendar for both in 2020.
Today I needed to find neither so it was just all about having a great time.
Like last year I was joining Anymules after he finished work and cache our way to the NYE event at Glenelg Beach. [^]
We arrived and before I could even get the wherigo app to work Anymules had the result and was walking back to the car. A few more attempts and I gave up and joined him. Off to GZ it looked very very familiar! I think I should try looking about here. Same spot - different colour That would have been one very quick wherigo if I could have got the app working on an android!
**Thanks Freddo for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. **
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

On my way home, stopped by here for what could be a lengthy solve. Luckily I read the census paper...
Made a quick find at the other end...
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through at 1459hrs.
