We are heading to Dunedin to attend the Mega Event. Today we are picking up a few caches along the way, especially if there is ample parking. This was a bonus as it came with stunning views as well.The cache was well wedged in and it took some patience and smaller fingers to get it out.But get it out I did.Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley
Afternoon stroll along the beach to get a couple of caches. Pretty sure I looked for this a few years ago but not where I found it today! Went straight to it...go figure TFTC erninz

Remembered where I looked on my last attempt. This time it was there. No damage done.
Found on our way from Moeraki to Christchurch, our last week of month holidays in NZ. TFTC
I logged a dnf here within a month of it's activation. Today it was nice to make a quick find and have the sad blue face replaced by a happier yellow one. Thanks.
Took a few moments to find as the GPS on my phone decided to be a bit erratic
As per previous log did not want to damage natural cover. Found some nice hidey holes but no prize.
Gave it a good look without doing damage to the foliage I’m wondering if the box has sloppy out of reach? Maybe a check for this one. Great coast line.
Both of us searched for nearly an hour here as didn't want to give up. Phone had us searching above path, then down in flax and under big logs. Each time showed 2 or 3 meters. Had to go in the end.
GPS had me at the lower level looking in the flax. Fpund in perfect condition and all good for the next finder. Took TB

A nice quick find thanks. Reading the logs agve a better idea of where to look.
MS_KR are off for the weekend to Oamaru, to catch up on a few caches. The weather started out overcast but got better into the afternoon. We spent most of the day to the east and west of Maheno on a few back country roads. Mnay of the caches we very unloved, over 3 years in one case.

I was after a quick p and g... but failed. With no plans for the day, and no urgency to be anywhere, I sat i watched the world for a good hour. Had another go from another approach... just not today.
Heading to Christchurch to pick up a campervan and head North. Found this one on the way. This is on the upper side of the track, GPS was telling me something else.
A quick easy find at another pleasant spot on the coast. The lid on this cache is very hard to close. Only one side was closed when we found it, and we managed only to partially close both sides. TFTC
Nothing worse than reading previous logs indicating a quick find. After a while I took a break and headed along the beach to the older one a bit north before returning for another search.
A nice night to grab a few new caches that came out yesterday with Natalie247 up the coast. TFTC erninz.
#17667 (FTF #214). This one was a much quicker find that SB6 (just as well as there was a bad smell at GZ). TFTC.
After a couple of days in Dunedin, StreetWalkerNZ and I are heading north to Kakanui for a couple of nights.
Getting closer to our destination and we are suffering from caffeine withdrawal but time to stop off and look for a possible FTF. SW found this cache despite the pong from a nearby dead animal [xx(]. I'm pretty sure this was numbered 6 in the log book. TFTC.
