#2007 Took a seat but the walk along the river was enough of a workout for me. Took the opportunity to re-tie the laces and make the find. Thanks again team.wallace for a nicely placed cache.
Travelling through Yass on our way to Canberra for a long weekend, decided to stroll around the river, so no exercise required here, quick find, TFTC team.wallace
After some time off,! my girl dragged me out today. So I took her to clean up 4 in town and grab two myself.
After watching her look around for 3 minutes I thought I better show her how its done lol, anyway i still have my eyes yay
Thank for the hide guys.

Found with Crafty Dusty and the geopooch Pippa on our way home to Sydney from Melbourne. No exercise was done TFTC!
I had to pull up near Yass to car cool down for a while, and hating the idea of service centres, I chose to come into town and find a nice place for a walk.
I did do a little excuse at this cache. Touching my toes once, one sit up, and a 2 crunches, in that order. Very little exercise. Haha.

Headed away for a bit of a post lockdown trip to central west NSW. My main goal for the trip was to find GC2F6F (2001 cache), but as always I couldn't drive past as if it wasn't there. This was one of the many caches I found on my road trip.
A nice easy find
Thanks to the CO's for hiding your cache and contributing in a small way to the fun I had.

# 7547 Now that we can go caching in beyond the ACT border, iPlod65 and I headed up the Barton hwy to Yass stopping off in Murrumbateman for a few lazy caches along the way. It was a fine but breezy day. We neglected to bring a ladder something we would soon come to regret.
All in all, a bunch of interesting and varied caches.
A quick find here.
Thanks team.wallace

Camping at Joe O'Connor Park Yass. Day 2
Our caching partners are pprass.
After a lunch break the guys decided to do a few caches on their bikes to use up some surplus energy.
A different way to see the town
Thankyou team.wallace for placing this cache.

Out for a lockdown walk with the family - last time we attempted this the area was cordoned off (early in COVID). Easy find today. Thanks!
Found @ 11:18am - my second find as a Yass resident and second find today
On the return leg of my Sunday stroll, this was a relatively quick find given the number of muggles out enjoying the weather.
Thanks team.wallace

While here we took him for some exercise and a cache pick up.

A quick stop in Yass for fuel, a cup of tea and a couple of caches while driving to Wagga. A nice quick find in a logical place.
Mumma Bear and geokidlets found this one recently, but didn't have a pen. Back on a beautiful sunny Sunday to write our names.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Found with Aquilus1 and Tankengine while out on a cache maintenance run and to clear out a few more caches.
This cache: Have passed this so many times and just wanted to tick it off. Parked nearby then made the short walk to GZ.
As we sat and relaxed like described, we signed the log then headed off again. Tftc team.wallace!!!

With Tankengine and dty73 we set out early this morning to watch the balloons, so after they floated off and a bit of breakfast we set off for the cache maintenance that was on the days agenda. That taken care of and with Yass close by with caches we could all get, made for a good choice for our next direction. As luck would have it a new cache published while there and an unexpected AL we hadn't noticed and FTF.
Cached our way about and after a little lunch a new plan and it was off to Jugiong for another new cache, a busy town as we did the local caches and then a few others on the way home. An unexpected but lovely day with a lot of variety, nice scenery and some quality caches along the way.
At the end of a great but long day... not! Although a handy place to sit and comfy enough too... a very short search soon had this found. Thanks for the cache team.wallace

Well yes, looking for this one gave us a bit of exercise. At least it wasn't a park and grab, so we walked to it, along with ilook4geo. The finding was easy and nobody was around to witness the signing. The container was then returned to its place. Thanks for this cache go to team.wallace.
Good equipment here so you can sit and sign the log in comfort. Found at the end of the day.

Nice easy find for the kids.
Went to sign the log only to realise that the small human had dropped the pen somewhere along the way!
Took a photo of log instead.

I was up early for the first search of my third day of a solo cache raid in the area. It was dark so I used a torch to suss out the hiding spot. Thanks.
In the area completing an AL, The coordinates were about 15m off, nonetheless this was a straightforward find at GZ. Thanks team.wallace.
Fortunately nobody exercising here around midday, so I was able to get down and dirty and soon spotted the cache. All in good condition and TFTC team.wallace.
Found it with the geokiddies and grandparents.
Point is off by about 10m but the title and the hint make it a straightforward and kid friendly hide. Thanks!

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Parked at the school and took a shady walk down the hill to get the two down here by the river. At some very cool exercise equipment, it was a very quick find. Lovely views of everything down below. TFTC team.wallace!
Having an enjoyable afternoon stroll after setting up camp. Not feeling inclined to exercise but always inclined to geocache. Nice quick find. Cache in good order. Tftc

After I checked into the motel time for dinner. I had a rough idea of how many I needed to get the 120, but was not confident and so did a few extra just in case (thankfully I did). Headed to the pub and had dinner and then wandered around some caches in town with a torch and found all except one (D4) - so was happy with that.
Did probably the most exercise for the day - walking from the other side of the river over to this exercise park (had walked this on a previous visit). Took a lot of hunting in the dark but eventually found the right one and the log was signed.
TFTC team.wallace - this got me the 120

We did some exercise, a 113 metre walk from the geo beast and a push-up or two. Water in river, green grass, blossoms all looking good
After doing the Dragonstone series ended up in Yass with Contesta for a few more late afternoon caches. TFTC.
The only cache that myself and DSD both hadn't found in Yass! I still have dozens unfound here, but DSD did a clean-up a few years back!
We had Sui_001 on our trails too, who luckily also had not found it yet, so it was a bonus for us all before we had to head back to Canberra.
Three spots to search, and three sets of eyes. Perfect! So we managed to make light work of this one with Sui_001 being the one to strike gold!
Thanks for the cache

Found at 10:23 AM GAFF1.
Well that certainly gave us a bit of an exercise to search and recover that cache! The co-ords were about 7 metres out, so there was no real indication as to exactly where to look, so it meant looking at all of them
Thanks team.wallace

After a quick circuit of the main street we decided to pick this one up. Managed to do some manoevours to get it! Thanks team.wallace.
If it's in one of the obvious places, then it's currently out of bounds due to closure by the council.
With a day off and the eagerness to get out for a cache or two, I headed out for a run along the back-roads and Hume-HWY between Yass and Gunning. I chose this route to collect caches that has popped up, to avenge DNF’s and to collect caches I missed last time, I did this run (back in 2016). I found a good mixture of caches both in sizes and types of hides. Most were quick finds and all caches were signed and replaced except for three DNF’s and one NA. Out of 45 attempted caches, which is a mixture of both GC and GCA, I ended up finding 41 of them. TB visit on all cache found. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s and TFTTP’s
A quick trip out to Yass to do the parkrun and then find one leap day cache - my third time up the hill this morning but at least it was only half way for this cache. I was very pleased that the cache wasn't a nano and it ended up being in the first spot I looked after eventually getting down onto my knees. TFTC.
Yass to Cootamundra today, with about all the detours one can imagine. Again a great day of caching with a mix of traditionals and multi's. This one was a quick stop and grab.

I decided to spend the day on a day trip West of Yass to Young, Cootamundra and Gundagai. It was a nice day that was not as hot as some recently. I was happy to find all the caches I went looking for,and only skipped one long hill climb. It was a great day.
Thanks.

It's smoky in Canberra and so I suggested to my mother we spend the day in Yass where hopefully the smoke would be less than in Canberra. Still smoky, but it was less. I had noticed four new caches to find.
After lunch and an iced coffee in an air-conditioned (my mother's insistence that it be so, but who was I to argue on this hot day) cafe, I came onto find this one. I was pleased I found the cache on the first of several choices of objects to search. My Garmin was about eight metres out. It preferred: S 34° 50.278 E 148° 54.502.

With our client numbers reducing it was time to treat ourselves to a day out to collect some caches. We noticed that new placements had been published in Yass so we collected Rapidlywild on our way past and decided to head into Yass town, grab a coffee and a few smileys before heading off on our days adventure on the trail.
It was very quiet around the town today, which made for quick finds and this one was no exception.
Thanks for the placement team, wallace and thanks Rapidlywild for another great day out in the fresh air and sunshine.

2020 has been pretty busy so far, and as a result, I have not had much time for Geocaching. I recieved a message from the FFLL ladies the other night asking if I wanted to get out and about on Satuday, YES PLEASE So plans were put into place to go collect some more ALL7 caches between Yass and Canberra.
Setting off along the highway at a reasonable hour, we made our way to Yass and picked up a couple of the new caches whilst here. Then we made our way down towards what we had left of the Superheroes series. A great day out with the ladies as per usual, fun times, lots of laughter and a fair few caches snapped up too. Even managed to pass my 12,000 finds number somewhere along the trail [^]
Located this one in the first place I looked, which was great signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hide team.wallace And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun day out and about

19,984. Found with minniek during a quick trip to clean out Yass again.
Cool ! New caches in Yass. Good opportunity for minniek to grab those elusive ones she's missed previously. It was nice and quiet at GZ today so after a quick search we came up with the cache. Signed, returned, and we were off to the next one.

It took longer to walk here than it did to find it found on the last day of our weekend away. Have found a couple of nice places to put some caches in so that the cachers who have kept us entertained for the last couple of days will have something to find TFTC.
