Was on this side of the river today having lunch with friends so just a small detour. Great sausage sizzle and enjoyed the catch up thanks Tracy and Frank for hosting the event

Perfect weather for a sundowner in the middle of winter on the shortest day of the year.
Great to catch up with everyone even if it feels like I only saw some of them yesterday.

fratra I attended your event today, that makes it my 100th geocaching event. This was the 1st of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 6077.

It was great to see what’s left of the COs. While some of the rest of us have gained weight, you’ve gone against COVID convention and certainly lost it. Highlight was, of course, tummy rubs for the gentle Townsing giant. Thanks for organising.

Great to turn up here after work and shoot the breeze with the usual suspects and MickeyDV.

Nice to cover the usual topics of FTF streaks, log shenanigans and so on.

Two Community Celebration Events in as many days, well we have been spoilt this weekend, after being in lockdown for so long, once again I caught up with some I had seen yesterday at the Baldivis event and several cachers I had not seen for some time.

Thanks for the feed fratra, it was most generous, along with picking a nice location with toilets real close by Great for old fellas like me.

A drone show and plenty of banter made for a most enjoyable evening, I'm looking forward to your next outing.

Sometimes I think these events are to close to each other (though I still try to attend them) but most times I think that they're way to far apart. It is always good to attend and catch up with both old and new friends. Today was no exception - a great spot for an event with plenty of choices for the kids to play. Thanks to fratra for this cache - our find 8757 and the 1st of 1 finds for the day.

How wonderful the weather was for a winters day. Another great event. Great to meet up with people that I am now becoming familiar with. Love the laughs. Thanks for organising this Fratra.

Retracting listing

In light of the latest information and directive by the Australian Government
and in the best interests of the community we have decided to postpone this event.

We look forward to rescheduling the event and catching up with everyone once this crisis had passed.

As the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) situation is evolving rapidly around the world, Geocaching HQ urges all Event hosts and attendees to prioritize the safety of themselves and their attendees.

At this time, we advise Event hosts to consult their regional health authorities to understand the guidance regarding gatherings of people. Generally, Geocaching HQ leaves the decision to Event hosts on whether to continue hosting the Event and to attendees on whether they will participate. In some regions, community volunteer reviewers may suspend publishing new geocaches, including Events and/or may disable, retract, or archive already published Events, in accordance with guidance from health authorities.

We want to allow flexibility for hosts who need to reschedule their published Community Celebration Events due to COVID-19 concerns. If hosts wish to reschedule their Community Celebration Event:

1. Create an Announcement log to notify users that the Event is cancelled and may be rescheduled.
2. Disable the Community Celebration Event.
3. Contact the publishing reviewer to retract the Event.
4. Update the Event date.
5. Submit listing for publication.

We understand it can be very disappointing to miss the connections that are made at Events. But please remember that geocaching is a location-based game, and locationless Events or virtual logging of Events are not permitted by the [Geocaching guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#eventlogging). HQ appreciates that the community is so strong that players want to keep in touch virtually and we encourage doing so using other online platforms. At present this event will go ahead given that it currently sits within the Government issued guidelines.
