Wow!! Had a great weekend meeting different caches finished by a great dinner the high light of the weekend was getting the 7m high cache thanks to fratra lending us there telescopic pole.

Such a great end to WAGB 2021 weekend Brilliant to meet and say good bye to new people met over the weekend. Keen for next time

Thanks heaps to Chwiliwr for taking the time to host WA Day Weekend Dinner today. Was a good excuse to get out of the house and grab a few caches as well.

WA day long weekend day three

With covid kept at bay for now, WAGB 2021 was always on the cards, this being number 8 of 8 WA Goes Bigs for myself.

Sunday: Another early start with the usual FOTT suspects of Kyzabra, Granett, neva2old, geotrakka and SVKR_WA (for a time)

Off on the road around 08:30 with all meeting at the Caravan Park. The plan is away from town again today, off towards Denmark... away from the crowds and road closures all gathered for the car show this long weekend in Albany.

Today our focus will be collecting 12 unique icons in one day, with a bit of planning we should be able to knock this off a couple of hours after lunch.

Another great event to finish off a fantastic day and weekend at WAGB21.

I planned for a slower day today a select number of specific caches in the area as I worked towards 12 types in the day.
Mr’s Z & T headed out with me as we met up with SirFancy and LauraTheExplorer84 in the morning and headed up Mount Clarence before picking up the rest of the family and slowly making our way to Denmark for the CITO followed by lunch.
We came back into town as the sun started to lower and had a great time catching up with everyone at the WAGB dinner.

We came from Perth to attend the WA Goes Big series of events for 2021 in Albany this year. Great times were had and old aquaintances caught up with, as well as some great Geocaching to be found. Thanks to all those who helped organise the events this weekend.
