After completing a personal challenge in SA of finding 10,000 physical caches there we are now heading from Beachport back to Portland aiming to grab a couple of caches along the way on roads not normally traveled if the weather permits. The rain had started to ease so we thought that we would try our luck at this one and it must have been meant to be as the rain stopped as we pulled up.We pulled up near gz and spotted a farmer coming towards us, we think that he might have been checking out the fence line so we went for a little drive and happily he was out of sight by the time we got back. From here we simply followed the GPSr to gz where something out of place caught our eye and not long after we were adding our name to the log. Thanks once more for the cache.

The great Geoventure 2020 tour....take 2...which is of course now in 2021 Surprised Once again it myself and AnyMules doing things that not many sane people would attempt. [:o)]

Day 8: With a break in the weather and some sunshine we decided it was time to go for a walk in the Penola Conservation Park Cool Then it was a cache of just following the trail of unfound caches. Big Grin
* If anything was particularly interesting then there will be a comment

Here.. Ha ha quick find. Smile

otherwise we found all the caches we looked for and they were in good condition.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. Cool That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

I had come down to Millicent for the long weekend and today it was organised to come caching with gridge98 and it turned into a big day with 74 caches found. [^] We started in Millicent headed towards Rendelsham, Southend and Beachport where we grabbed some lunch before making our way to Furner. Big Grin Had a fun day finding lots of different caches with a few high terrain ones which is always a bonus for me. Red Face
A quick detour up to this one which was spotted as we drove up. Big Grin

We decided to make the detour way out to this one, we spotted the cache from the car

Today JJ52 and I set out from Millicent together to find all the caches around south end and beachport, we thought it would take all day but we were done by lunch time so we headed over to kangaroo inn to find all the caches in the area before attending my event back in town. Almost 80 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

20-Sep-20
found with mogni leaving Mount Gambier and on the way back to Adelaide. Today's aim was to get the night cache ( in daylight if possible ( and it was ) ), as many of the higher terrain caches around Millicent plus any higher D caches if we had the time, a few more off highway stray caches and any we just happened to pass.

18-Sep-20
A weekend in Mount Gambier with sir_spectre and catching up with family and friends. We had three days and we managed to make a big dent in the many, many caches around Millicent.
Thanks to GeoVenture2020 from mogni Big Grin

Geohusband finally had a day off so we headed to Robe for lunch and a walk. We took the round about route to get there and picked up six caches. The weather was pretty crappy so the walk was a short one! Hound loved the caching today.
I seem to have visited a lot of these Wattle signs this week!

Easter 2020 sees South Australia Geocaching hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Check out the event page and our website. We would love to see you at this four day event. Sponsored by Wattle Range Council, Geocaching.com and many other supporters. Lots of caches to find including two classic art work trails.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

A lovely day out with hevwalker and my grandies; the kids were so excited to go caching and had some great ideas where caches could be found and placed when we were finding places for new caches for the GeoVenture2020 at Easter in Millicent along the way between finds. TFTC.

First to find on January the 9th 2020 at about 0750 hours.
Surely this has to be the only one left, we think GeoVenture2020 has covered them all now. No phone reception along this road had us preparing a couple of things before we came out this way and it all worked well.
Mrs Kookacrew is always happy to see these containers utilises in such a far better way than intended. Keeps a few friends business in pocket money too.
The temperature is increasing already, it was already 30 degrees out here so it's going to be a stinker. There is a lovely Protea and Banksia farm near here, they grow flowers and send them all over Australia.
Thanks GeoVenture2020 for the cache, found, signed and replaced.
