Gazania Rigens made a fast find here after our lunch stop. Found with Zouavesauvage as well. Thanks for placing. Not too many people around on this wet day.
A quick find with the hint here, while my phone wanted me to be further away for some reason. Nice little park. TFTC!
Down for the MEGA with Supernannny and Net61 collecting some caches on the way. Nice quick stop here to find this cache here in the rain. TFTC
In Dunedin with rattll for the first full day of GeoToroa. Teamed up with watcache to explore Otago Peninsula. The day started off drizzly, and slowly got worse, so we were all wet and cold by the end of the day. Nevertheless, we had a good haul of caches, and mostly no problems with finding. Tftc!
Day two of the MEGA, and matagouri and I have teamed up with watcache to explore the otago peninsula and get as many caches as we could, while braving the bitter cold rain and wind.Despite the weather we had a lot of fun. Thanks to all the CO's for setting up and maintaining these caches. We signed the log as watratmat
Down in Dunedin for the Mega. Great to be back for another Mega 12 years after NZ's first Mega here in 2012. Finding a few caches with Boxhill and having a few laughs on the way. Thanks to the team for putting on a great Mega weekend, and also to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.TFTC Natalie247
Was out caching with the Jags and Net61. Net and I went ahead, and bumped into The-Organist and Miss 12 at this cache! Was raining...so they kindly gave us a ride back to the Pub!( In their super fancy car ...woo hoo! )
Met some fellow cachers and Miss 12 lost her black pen. Oh well, theres always mine.
Found in the rainLog signed as wat, rat, matThanks for the placement and the smiley Watcache, rattl, matagouri
We are out today enjoying some caching. Have come down for our first Mega. Mr C found this one and called out the magic words. Thanks gor this cache Natalie247. No special memory of 12 Jan.
Thanks for the history lesson. The container was quite easily visible, so I added some leaves on top to disguise it a bit better. TFTC
Had to wait around a while for some locals to move along, but it was a very quick find after that. Tftc!
Was nearby so checked this cache. It was in plain sight. Added a new logsheet and replaced with a little more cover
TFTC! Took a wee while but we eventually found it under some leaves you css as n find it at the bottom of one of the trees below such a windy day
The last time I looked for this cache it was missing, so I pleased to find it today, especially as we couldnt find the Triple Difficulty Challenge cache at Okia. TFTC, an easy find today.
Couldn't resist one last cache before heading back to bed. A great little spot I wouldn't have otherwise noticed, thanks for bringing me here! We ended up coming here the next day to use the facilities and we wouldn't have known to come here if it wasn't for the cache. No problems with the find. Thanks!
Had tried this a number of months ago, must have forgotten to log a DNF back then. Definitely remember searching here. Anyway, a nice quick find today, no one around! TFTC
No find. Whole family looking. We were particularly interested in the large hollow tree on the left of the driveway, thinking that'd be a good spot. But no luck for us. Investigated other trees too, but no luck. Found this cool guy though, see if you can find him
Due to accident I am unable to get to the location to check on the cache until late October.
Looked for a while, couldn’t find, a family arrived and showed no signs of leaving so had to abort
I haven't come across any other caches using this theme. It was a quiet weekday when we visited and we were able to take our time finding the cache. Lovely birdsong accompanied us. TFTC
Great little find while on a bathroom stop, and the cutest little park. I love the oaks and sycamore! Thanks for the cache!
Took a few minutes to to locate but yay - got the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache after an amazing day out on the peninsula .
Found this together with Loob&Amob and PCOB1411.
We searched quite a bit, but found it when we chose to read the hint.
The cache is nice and dry.
Greatings from Denmark.

After looking a long time and going through the hint a couple of times and understanding what it meant, we finally figured out where it was. Thanks for a sneaky but good hiding place
Didn't take long to get our fingers on the container but took a wee while to extricate. All done and put back. Tftc
After waiting for a family to get their mountains bikes off the car, helmets on, car locked and finally set off for a ride, we approached something which satisfied the hint and gave a suitable gps reading. Rummaged around and removed a lot of leaf litter but couldn't find a cache. It was starting to get dark and cold (we're from Auckland we don't do single digit temperatures!) so gave up.
Quickly found here. I plan to get another one of i-gotit’s newer toilet caches today on the way back to Dunedin.
Thanks for the cache, Natalie247

On the way back from getting a couple of caches near sandfly bay so stopped for a drink and hot chips at the portobello pub. Afterwards had to get this one as it’s name mentions Mr Frame Family’s birthday. TFTC!
Enjoyed some lunch at Portobello today and of course a couple of caches too. Thanks Natalie247 for placing the ODT series and maintaining the caches.
Quick find.
Quick find.
Found on a morning out with Hevic en route to the event. We'd found the waypoint to another nearby cache and decided to grab this one first, though it turned out to be the only one we grabbed in or around Portobello for the day. A cool little hide (literally - it was quite shady there). Cheers!
Out and about with way for KJR's event. I was on a mission to get the points needed for Reach the Peak. Lovely afternoon to cache the area. #11 for the day. TFTC Natalie247
On a caching trip to the Dunedin area with Nosynel. Lunch stop and quick find on our way out on the peninsula. Thanks for the hide.

A nice place to stop and eat our cut lunch. Jude_E and I are on another road trip. We stayed in Dunedin last night. It was a bit rainy yesterday. That hindered the caching a bit. It's just blowing a gale at the moment. Thanks for hiding this cache Natalie247 I appreciate it.

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

We were passing this area so this was an opportunistic stop. There was some discussion about the size of the hint object, then suddenly there it was. Found with Debsnz. Thanks Natalie
We thought it would be good to get this one on a week day as we thought there would be plenty of muggles about during the weekend. Our assumption proved to be right and we had the place to ourselves and finding the right spot was relatively easy. Found with Spoonz2
Out and about with BCD and after completing my main mission at Papanui Inlet we headed back to Portobello and yes another toilet stop...have had a few of these today
Signal had us bouncing around a bit but then I made the find in the first place I spotted but initially walked past TFTC

Down in dunnas for the weekend ...on a long overdue caching mission around the city with kjr as my guide.....
That took longer than it should have Coords kept bouncing around...

Day four of my SI, east coast Geotour.
The Otago Peninsula warranted my attention this morning.
Having completed my four "must do" caches it's time to head back towards the big smoke finding a few more quick ones on the way.
I drove in here and made a quick find.

A few locals were arriving for some kind of gathering - I left as soon as I could!

Reluctantly I am going to do a cut and paste for most of my logs today. Lytteltonwitch, Geomum007 and I had a very busy day. Most logs were signed in full some were initials. We had a FANTASTIC day, walked our wee socks off and tomorrow - home time, has come around too fast. Thanks to all the cache owners for making this Dunedin stay so memorable.
Stopped by this one earlier in the day but there was a maintenance vehicle nearby so we flagged it. Stopped again on the way home and made a quick find. tftc
One family making good use of the skateboard park today but they were out of sight once I was at GZ. Nice quick find here on the way back from your event. TFTC # 16,317
A quick park and grab with KNCN and TDronsfield gathering some finds along the coast road after attending Natalies #100 event nearby tftc Nat
A fun day out caching with nana (wombats_4) also found with Tania. On Natalies #100th event day tftc Natalie
Cache 496 Another quick park and grab, that is one massive trunk of a tree would have been an old one, cache is in excellent condition T4TC
Looked for this one late in October but couldn't find it then. Was down here again looking into the Mystery Puzzle and thought I'd give it another go after reading that the cache had previously gone missing but had been replaced. Nice quick find this time. TFTC.
We were out biking again when Mr D said - should we stop at the Domain toilets and find this one? Decided it was best to grab it now before it disappears again. The baby starlings in the roof of the toilets have now fledged and departed, so it was a much quieter stop than last time. Then a quick find in an empty reserve.
This one has eluded me in the past and it is obvious that small inquisitive fingers have been at it again. With prior permission of the CO I went armed with a 50 ml screw top container with the log inside in a smaller screw top container. Hopefully this time it will last longer .It wasn't until this visit that I read cache page properly and noticed that I was mentioned. I did put in one near here a couple of months after this cache was published. Thanks Natalie for letting me put in a replacement on a day when I wanted a couple of finds.
There are starlings nesting in the eaves of the toilet, to judge from the peeping...! There were no classic British cars around this visit, so we felt confident - but no, we are stumped again. Checked all the gaps, holes, hollows etc with fingers and sticks. Hmm. Around again, delving deeper. No! Think a lucky child has found this before us!
