Doing a maintenance run and decided to archive this and change it up a bit, most probably will become a multi. The rest of the series are gone so the name makes no sense anymore.
Taking a little jaunt over the border, turning a few caches into smilies along the way. Needed to wait for a muggle with a yappy dachshund to move on before I could make the grab.

An early morning walk was rewarded by a glorious sunrise before we found this cache.
It was in a great location.
I left a pathtag and took the travel bug.

Got distracted on our way north and missed the stopping spot and had to back track. Ended up being a better spot to stop anyway. Not too many out enjoying the beach on this beautiful day. TFTC
Found at 1:46 PM GAFF1.
So how did the name come about? No idea!
Decided to walk this little series as it looked like something that was interesting. Headed off and this first cache was found with a couple of "indicators" that made it simple for us cachers - thank you
Thanks No_Tomorrow.

Today we planned to cache in the Ballina area. The weather was very changeable & we tried dodging the many showers, we were happy with the variety & location of the caches that we found.

Our second attempt at geocaching. Nice location - plenty of human surfers on this beautiful winter's day. Thanks.
My sincere apologies for my late log. I'd completely forgotten to log this days geocache finds and was reminded by JooJoo57 who I was caching with that day. This is a nice hide with a good view. My hubby has been a surfer all his life so we are quite familiar with the Surfer Slang. Thanks for the reminder and the memories No_Tomorrow.
Cheers and happy caching!

Found with our 4 year old JLTGCM on his first Geocaching adventure. our first In years. A nice rainbow viewed from the cache.
Ah finally! there you are! Oh how I have missed the golden white sands meeting the crashing azure pond beyond. We quickly dumped our stuff somewhere in the vicinity of ground zero then without hesitation rockhopped over the black boulders and straight into the water. It's starting to get a bit nippier now, but gotta make up for lost time where possible. We mucked about splishing and splashing and duck diving and such for a while before deciding to dry off and chill watching the breakers.
We found the cache while we sat there, not really ready to be done caching yet. And this was all thirsty work . My foot looked far in far better condition after the salty soak, so once we had dried off we turned back in the direction we'd come from and headed back to the car in search of refreshment.
Thanks once more to No_Tomorrow. If not for these caches I'd probably not have done this walk nor visited this beach today.. It's not one I usually visit. We really enjoyed it, and your caches here were a big part of it. Massive thanks for adding to the caching experience in this neck of the world.

With a day off and a break in the weather, these 4 caches looked like a nice outing. They sure were, definitely loved the walk and views along the way.
Cache 4- getting to GZ, I looked in all the areas I would hide it, only to come up empty handed... broadening my search still left me empty.... going back to my original thought location, what’s this loose rock.... ohhhhhhhh CIH.. I sat for a while relaxing and thinking about the last time I got 4caches in a day, sadly it was too long ago. Quick, back to the car before the next rain cloud came over..
cheers

Lucky last GC cache for the day (although the GCA party was just about to begin). This cache didn’t take me too long to find. A clever little hide. Such a good spot to get out of the sun and watch the water. Had the best time today doing these caches. I would recommend this series to anyone (just watch the kids near the cliffs). It really is a special area that has fought off development over the years and remains a really top spot for a picnic – or in my case, an after work walk and chill out. Cachers shouldn’t forget to check out Geocaching Australia too. Why log 4 when you could be logging 6 Love your work, No_Tomorrow!
