Staying at a farm nearby to Campania so headed out for a walk. This was a fun find, gave me a chuckle. TFTC
Im having a couple of weeks off and Im spending the first few days down in the South of Tassie to find 8 different types, 25 of one type and also any LGAs that I come across to help fulfil a few of the challenges that Im working on.Im also trying to keep my small streak going so I can hopefully beat my last streak total of 67 days. This one was a LGA type and what a nice little town.I used satellite view to work out how to get into here and I parked near the tower as suggested.Wandered down the parprpth and I came across a new concrete track for walking or running if you are that way inclined.Soon located the well themed cache and added my name to the log.A fav goes out to you for this one. Thanks firedash2004 TFTC.
reuse - recycle - reduce, I like it. will have to start hoarding spent cutlery.. thanks..!!
A cute little cache! Thanks for the effort!
Found this cache on a trip down to Hobart to enjoy all that Dark Mofo has to offer.

Lots of spiderwebs and bugs, but a very nice cache in a lovely little spot. My boyfriend's first geocache find thanks to the creator!
Having read nothing about this cache and just walking in blind, we were totally surprised and blown away by this path here

Points for the container.
Just a heads up though that the log is wet as the container isn't actually waterproof

After getting frustrated by a nearby multi we made our way along to this series.
We parked at the suggested coords and walked down to the cache. It didn’t take long to spot the cache at GZ, a very clever idea, not quite what I was expecting.
We also weren’t expecting such a well maintained, concrete path in the middle of the bush either!
The log book is quite damp but can still be signed.
Thanks for the cache firedash2004!

Today I decided that instead of driving through all the road works on the Midlands, I would take a more scenic drive to Oatlands.
This cache was the first of 6 I looked for and found.
The fork has come loose and the log is wet.
Thanks for the break in driving north and the cache.

This is the first geocache (or treasure) that my 4yo has found. To say she was excited is an understatement
Out and about with RoadieM today targeting a few caches in Campania. Took us a bit to find the start of the walk for this series of caches and once we actually found the right road we were very surprised at the quality of the track. We made a quick find at this one and had a chuckle at the appropriately named cache container. Thanks firedash2004.
tassietan and I are out on a caching outing.
After finding the very enjoyable multi nearby we struggled a little to find the road/access to this one.
We were quite amazed at the work that has gone into this track in the middle of nowhere!
Had a chuckle at the cache container.
Thanks for bringing us here and the cache firedash2004

Day 4 in Richmond on our little Geoholiday. Weather absolutely crap. Nearly underwater, and slows up enthusiasm for crawling around the countryside looking for caches. Nicelittle cluster in Campania, so we are giving these a go this morning. What a surprise to find a pathway like this seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, for the present it provides a very useful geotrail for us to follow. Well done firedash2004. And a favourite for a cheeky pun on "a fork in the road"
Very good! It got a chuckle from me. Find 2/13 today. We're aiming to earn the mt. Viscon Souvenir today. Thanks! Another favourite.
I was in the area when I noticed this was not too far out of my way so a short detour led to a quick find. I liked the cache container. Thank you firedash2004 for placing this cache to contribute to our caching activities. This is a milestone for me as it was my 2000th GC find.
Up here at Campania to clean up the last 3 hides not yet got this one was first cab off the rank.
Was able to park close by so i just wandered down to this one to make a quick find and sign. I like the cache container

hi firedash2004, thanks for the cache, it's a novel and well themed container!
A bit of work going on here today, a loader loading the gravel into a tip-truck, the the truck moved along the path dumping it's load along the side, then a mini excavator thingo spreading and levelling the gravel. On my lap around, I had to giveway to the truck three times!
Nonetheless, an enjoyable walk, and a nice quick find.
Today was the last day of my holidays, so after a few appointments and chores this morning, I took a leisurely solo drive via Austins Ferry, Brighton for lunch, then Tea Tree, Campania, Richmond and GrassTree Hill cleaning up my 'unfound' map.
Thanks for contributing to my adventure today; Cheers, EPs.

2/10 the road to the cemetery was blocked off so we had to walk up from the main road. Still a nice winter day walk.
gridge98 decided he wanted to go for an overnight trip to hobart and collect a few caches and also head down to port arthur to collect the old virtual. I was keen for a drive to get some hours up for my Ls and to find a few caches along the way. A great trip away and some cool sights seen.
Apologies for the generic log.

Before COVID-19 comes to an end I had better catch up with my logs, I've been reluctant to get round to this as it just reminds me I cant go out caching

We had a good laugh when we found this. We were able to drive right to the crossroads and could see the hide from there so a quick find.
Nicely done firedash2004, thanks!

Found it at 13:00. Track was very dry, and our 2wd didn’t have any problem to deliver us to the cache. TFTC.
The shadows were lengthening as we arrived at this location and the light was fading. Despite being found 8m from the published coordinates, the hint led to a quick find in an obvious location. We loved the presentation of teh cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks firedash2004 for the cache.
Suscoe woke this morning to steady rain and a cold breeze.
We were heading to Hobart today and we had hope of finding a few caches on our way along the roads that we travelled.
The rain started to clear later in the morning and we ended up having a fine but cold afternoon.
The rain coats were broken out for the first time this trip.
Thanks to firedash2004 for this hide, we took the track and it was quite dry considering the rain.
