Nice quick find and sign here although hint and cache size both differed to the cache info. All good here TFTC
Size needs to be changed for this cache and hint changed as they are both inaccurate.
On another drive today with a client. I thought I'd found all the caches in this vicinity, but this one has popped up since I'd last been in the area.Hint is wrong, should be "under a log" - not grass. Also the size should be amended too.Anyway TFTC
This cache was nearly opposite where we stayed on Bruny Island. Not a bad view at all.

Went into Hobart today to pick something up & thought I would go back home to the Huon Valley via the Channel for a nice drive & find a couple Caches. I worked on two multi-caches (both to be finished later) and found five others (HC7HF05, GCNBKR, GC8J2C3, GC950JM & GC92MWR). At two of the caches, I ran into another friendly Geo-Cacher. First time running into someone out & about Geo-Caching at the same time. Thought it was funny. They were ahead of me the whole time looking at the same caches. Thanks for the good times & thanks for the finds. One happy Cacher here. PS I did not find it under grass however. I Did love the view from here.
After taking part in the Festival of Voices in Hobart my friend took me along the Channel Highway and i locate sveral caches i did not log some at the time and i now am hoping i have the correct caches . It was a lovely drive around this road finishing with us going to a lovely vineyard Thank you for the cache and i took some photos as we went .
Found really quickly by geodad, nice spot although it is not where the hint says it is. TFTC
Quite an easy find + great scenery right next to it lovely view but waters a bit fresh if you are planning a swim
What an awesome drive it is along this road and it's view across the water. This spot at GZ is amazing. This actual location would be unreal with a beach shack [^]
The cache was found and the log signed at 13:32 on Wednesday 27/10/21.
All is good and dry within

Gorgeous spot (at least on a nice day like today). Easy find once I stopped using the hint
Thanks

Out and about caching in the area and we stopped so we could turn a dnf into a smiley. A nice quick find, thanks for replacing. TFTC
While caching in the area we found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

May is our least cached month so we have been focusing on getting as many caches in May as practical to increase our May stats. In doing so we have been clearing up many geocaches in the greater Hobart area (and some in the North) that we haven’t had chance to collect, or which have eluded us for whatever reason.
Today we decided to tackle some outstanding caches down the Channel Peninsular and Cygnet area.
This cache is in another beautiful area and thankfully the rain had stopped . Once again the hint does not reflect the hide - log rather than grass would be more relevant. TFTC

Spotted it but certainly not under any grass as hint says, a log more like it. TFTC
A nice spot for a cache.
Followed the gps and the find was discovered quite quickly.
Probably should change the hint as it doesn't apply anymore..
Added a logbook and ziplock as there was only some sorry looking scrap paper inside. Some swag would fill some space nicely, didn't have any on me unfortunately to add.
Thank you shannon for the cache !

Called past this cache today and found it had no log book. Added new log book in bag
No luck. If this is a regular cache, the photo now shows a green micro bison? Searched at GZ under log behind rocks but nothing there.
We have visited this area some time ago but it seemed more devoid of vegetation that when we last visited. The hint was no longer relevant but geosenses soon had us looking in the right location. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks ShannonPC for the cache.
One of several caches found today whilst enjoying the area. It's a lovely drive along the coast. TFTC

Found it, love the location, finding the catch was the perfect reason to stop and take in the view
Thank you

Early morning start with the temperature getting down to minus 1 in some areas but by the time we arrived at GZ the sun was shining brightly. We decided to have brunch in Geeveston and as we waited for our meal to be cooked Lady membsec gathered the required information fo a multi in time to return for her brunch.
Decided to gather a few caches that have been published since our last visit.
The hint didn’t help us but we saw a trade mark and looked under a log and found the cache!

Hello ShannonPC thank you for the cache
I had been here before finding a cache.
It is a lovely spot to watch the boats sailing up and down the channel.

Thanks for the cache Shannon. RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I headed out for a day of geocaching down the channel today. We had a great day, which included finding this cache.
Found with CatKid5 and Bevo21. This was our second attempt. The Coordinate seemed to have changed since last time we were here. Found quickly this time.
Coordinates changed from:
S 43° 16.626 E 147° 11.278
Coordinates changed to:
S 43° 16.614 E 147° 11.287

Looks like a great spot to drop a rod in and try to catch dinner, try being the operative word.
There were two nights fishing nearby without having much luck. One from Japan the other local. Beautiful day to be our fishing... Or geocaching in my case. Thanks for the cache beautiful spot.

Today we had a bit of a need to get out of the house, and figured a trip down The Channel might be a bit of fun. Of course, the fact that we had a couple of un-found caches down that way might have had something to do with it too...
What a great spot! Last time we'd been in the neighbourhood, we'd driven right past to the Ninepin Point reserve just down the road, and had completely missed this spot - which is a shame! With a carload of muggles in the area, we ended up poking around some of the rock pools and watching the waves coming in, which was a lovely way to kill a little bit of time.
Eventually though, the muggles went and we went in search of the cache. Not that it was particularly difficult to track down though - there wasn't much in the way of cover on it, and we were able to spot it from a fair distance away. We've re-covered it as best we could, but we do worry a little about it getting muggled.
Nevertheless, thanks for showing us to this beautiful spot!

Going to a 50th wedding anniversary down this way today so decided to do some caches while here. It certainly is where the treasure lies - found 3 trackables! Not sure why they were all in the one cache, but my bonus I guess. Very exciting for a newbie cacher. Lovely new cache box and items inside. As I took the 3 trackables I thought I’d better leave a gift (brooch) behind. TFTC.
Always enjoy a drive down the channel. Great water views. All ok at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
I'm writing logs in the same week as I found the caches they are for, thats a first for a long time!
Only managed to park within a few meters of GZ due to a Ute being in the way, turns out the owners were enjoying the water and the sun.
We ended up chatting to a lady from WA for few minutes after finding the cache, cache was well hidden and at the listed coords.
Thanks for the cache.

It was a long way down here with no finds since Kingston for me. We did stop for stainless steel rat to find some others (again???).
From what we had heard we were expecting to see this cache easily but it had been well covered by previous finders. Whilst we were here we explained a little about geocaching to a lady enjoying the area, and watching here partner diving below.
Thanks ShannonPC

Decided to go out for a geocaching adventure with the geokids today. Headed down the Channel area and stopped to collect this one. Geokids stood on this one whilst moving in the area to look for the cache, luckily container survived. Took TB. TFTC.
A rare day off meant a sleep in and a drive down the channel to collect a few caches.
The cache had two trackables which I grabbed.
TFTC
Good first up cache!

Excellent hide Shannon PC lovely views clear skies and a great cache. Well done on your first hide. Didn't want to leave after logging so sat and enjoyed GZ then wandered along Nine Pin Point beach (rocks).
Hi ShannonPC,
EeePees was on the way home and picked me up to have a look at this cache. We got there about ten minutes after S_38. We saw two travel bugs and unfortunantly the christmas one was not there. TFTC

Quick check of the email at lunch time. A new geocache right near home. Shame I'm at work, Lekker_Ding is in Thailand and I'll never get there first. Ah well, another one to find soon
4pm Still unfound. On the crotch rocket and racing. Such a beautiful and fun ride around the coast, more fun than beautiful this afternoon as it was surely only a matter of moments until I was beaten to it. I may have slightly fractured a law or two but can't say for sure Probably overtook eepees somewhere on the way. I arrived at Nine Pin Point alone, nobody in sight. quick check on c:geo, still showing unfound A short walk toward the most obvious location but alas I was still 20m away. A right turn and whilst looking in the obvious places instead saw the corner of it right in front of me. Thanks for the excuse for a quick ride around the coast and placing a cache in this beautiful location. So good to have such a nice day for the find. Picked up a TB. Thanks ShannonPC

Congratulations ShannonPC on your first hide, and TFTC, and for getting me to finally stop here.
Congratulations also to S_38 for the FTF.
I'm happy to share 2nd to find with KingSmev.
Headed down after work as there were no logged finds, and I mentioned to KingSmev that S_38 and/or Lekker_Ding might be on the way too!
Just near Middleton when the FTF log appeared, so we were 2nd by 15minutes according to the logbook.
So glad I didn't park at the parking coordinates (same as GZ!) as either the cache or the car may have broken.
Thanks for the adventure.
