Today was a VERY big day [B)] , I have not found so many caches in a LONG time. . So out and about with beckNmonts, buhfuhguh and sedgwickDave. I started today with a ParkRun in Dandenong, then spent the rest of the day caching with good company. The plan was to find as many different types of cache as we could for some leap day fun.

Another wonderful event, chatted for a while before heading off. Congrats on the streak.

A quick fly by visit to say hi to all and familar faces. Today on a blitz of the region with a focus of cache types with ahomburg, BecknMonts and BuhFuhGuh.

Ah yes, the elusive leap day... something that I sadly missed the last time it was around, and have been kicking myself over it for a long time now. nevertheless, today was the day to rectify this mistake and smash out some finds to try and prepare me for any of those pesky challenge caches.
Tagging along with BecknMontz, Ahomburg, and SedgwickDave, we had a successful day with many finds along the way. Thanks for the cache and for being part of a great day.

Quick visit at this event both to help the CO celebrate her achievement and to log an event for leap day.

Today was a Leap Day Event crawl with 5 events spread across Melbourne, with a couple of extra caches thrown in. This was my fourth event, and the first one that I arrived on time for, and only because I had come from the nearby CITO. Nice to be able to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones along the way.



Congratulations to pwala on 366 days of caching in a row. That's a mammoth effort. Have a rest. You have earnt it!

We, plus our two geobeagles, joined pwala today in celebrating the end of her 366 day streak. ?? We must admit that the incentive of a leap day souvenir and a donut influenced our decision to attend this event. ?? We arrived just after the start time of 12:30 pm and joined the many cachers who were already gathered. Most of the cachers were familiar but there were a few who we hadn't met before.

Thanks pwala for organising today's event and for the donuts. It was wonderful hearing about all your adventures while you were achieving this awesome milestone. It's a bit embarrassing that we have only ever managed a measly 33 consecutive days. ?? Luckily the geobeagles didn't scavenge any donuts but they did enjoy all the pats everyone gave them. ?? They also enjoyed having their photo taken with you (see attached).

What a brilliant name for an event. I know what a massive effort it is to find a 366 streak. I finished a 403 day streak a couple of years ago. By the end of it I was getting very tired of it. This was because we had to travel so far to get a cache. I wasn’t working, but understand how much harder it is trying to fit in a cache a day between working hours. Congratulations! Big effort for the whole family. The event was wonderful too!

The perfect event after our Leap Day CITO, especially with the yummy donuts that sated the appetites we'd built up while picking up rubbish.

Congratulations, pwala, on the perseverance to log a cache a day for a year. My longest streak is, by design, one day longer than my slump of 79 days.

With another leap day upon us we had done lots of different caches types and sizes last leap day so this year I decided to attend lots of events and to also help me build up my CITO count. A lot of driving today but the weather was great and managed to get to all 7 events in the day that I planned to.
Arrived early and enjoyed a few good chats and thanks for the doughnuts, heaps of jam inside .... really good.

Out of all the events we planned to attend today, this was our "must do". So lovely to see so many cachers (and your muggle-hubby) turn up to help celebrate your epic achievement. Congratulations pwala! We know how hard it is to maintain a 366 streak. Many of the stories you told about work and study pulling you in different directions while all you wanted to do was grab a cache were well known to us! And I remember sltrying to find a cache while coming home from work, but needing to get to training and missing dinner so that I could get a cache!

Congratulations **pwala** in streaking all the way to 366 days... a few years ago I only managed 122 days before giving it up as a *bad idea* so I have absolute admiration for what you have achieved.

It was a fantastic event that you organised, and a really incredible turn out. While I've found a moderate amount of caches now, I'm only just getting myself up to the gadgets, higher D/T, and FTFs, so it was a perfect time for me to chat to some more experienced caches and get some tips and tricks. It looks like I'll also be making my foray into Pathtags too, thanks to my new friend Muzza!

I really wish I could give favourite points to events, because this would absolutely earn one from me!
Everything about this event was wonderful; a beautiful location, a massive turnout, an even more massive achievement, a wonderfully picked title and DONUTS!
Given that my best streak currently totals to the exceptionally large number of 7, your 366 is certainly an incredible feat.
A fantastic speech kicked things off and then conversations between friends old and new were engaged over some lunch (and donuts, of course).
I'm really happy that I was lucky enough to attend this event and even have it as my 1200th find - thank you to pwala for putting it on and providing a great experience!
