This cache was missing and has been replaced. Not clear how and why it went missing - it is too high above the river level to be a flood victim. Anyway, already to go again.

Hi 2y'stassies. Today I/we attempted to find your Starting Puzzle Solving 01B. Unfortunately, one of the following happened and that made us unsuccessful in logging a find :1. Hadnt rubbed all the sleep out of my eyes. 2. Hadnt had breakfast so was concentrating on filling my stomach. 3. Had someone else with me and they couldnt be bothered looking and wanted to leave. 4. Had muggles hanging around waiting for me to leave so they could relieve themselves. 5. Wrong time of day. 6. Wrong time of night. 7. Wrong information given to me about where the cache is hidden. 8. Coordinates out by more than 10 metres. 9. Nobody has blown up the nano factory yet. 10. Too much or not enough water / light / GPS signal. 11. Flat battery in navigation device. 12. Cache has been stolen / muggled. 13. Such a small cache hidden in such a large area (fake rock in a boulder field / pico in west coast horizontal scrub)14. Too far up the tree to reach with the ladder AND the pole. 15. Too far down the hole to reach with a magnet or grabby tool. 16. I gave up looking. 17. I need to be somewhere else soon/now/a while ago. No offence intended! One of these may actual fit my DNF on your cache. Cache is missing.

Sorry 2y'stassies, after a thorough search I did not come up with the goods today for your Mystery, Starting Puzzle Solving 01B. It may be worth a sanity check to see that it is still here, I have been known to be cache blind at times.

Today we headed out to find some solved puzzles. Most of the puzzles I was able to solve myself. A couple I had to seek some assistance from the kindly CO.I stupidly left camp just wearing sandals which was foolish given snakes are about. Luckily no today just lots and lots of tiny lizards . They scared the bejesus out of me but they wont kill me.We had a lovely drive, gosh Tasmanians are lucky to have this lovely green island to call home. We did however have constant reminders that the recycle scheme cant come quickly enough here, so many cans and bottles on the sides of the road. Thanks for all these puzzles , trying to qualify for e.gregory1 challenge caches and this slew of puzzles helps enormously.Quick find and sign here TFTC

A trip up north again for 3 days, targeting 25 Solved Puzzles and "Old Gentleman" Caches.Trads / Multis and others with high Fave points / High Difficulty Star ratings also.A very convenient place to park here as i made my way over to the hide.Back to the mobile-table to sign the log. Did that at 11:44 on the perfect, sunny and cool Wednesday the 1st of November 2023.The cache and contents are fine and dry.TFTC and the Puzzle, 2y'stassies Smile

Looks like I’m on a roll. Another off my list for today

A bit of a late start today with the plan being to find caches for puzzles I’ve solved.
This one was solved before I left Adelaide and I HAD to find it before I leave this island
The weather is perfect for a country drive and finding a few caches.

Today we are moving our base from Devonport to Penguin, with a rather large detour along the way to begin finding the Starting Puzzle Solving series. A nice quick solve on this one. We were able to park right next to GZ for another rapid find. Thanks.

Solved a lot of the nearby puzzles in this area recently so today we set off to find them all.
We've enjoyed the challenge and the fun of all the different types of puzzles.
Found the cache easily and all was good with it.

tassietan and I have planned a caching getaway together for some time. We decided to go further afield and after looking around we were drawn to the north coast and the myriad of caches in the area, especially the series of puzzles. Being novice puzzle solvers these proved to be very challenging. Many hours later, with much frustration and then relief when the checker approved, we managed to solve most of them without help (mostly tassietan I have to admit, she is much better at them than me.) We sought help from the CO on a couple, and some are still unsolved.
This was at a gorgeous location and we spent quite some time admiring the view after a quick find.
Thanks 2y'stassies for the puzzle and the cache.

RoadieM and I are on our first ever dedicated geocaching getaway. We worked on this puzzle series in anticipation and between us managed to solve 44 of the 56 puzzles without any assistance (for novice puzzle solvers we were pretty proud of ourselves ) Some puzzles fell into place quickly … others had us tearing our hair out for hours and hours! Thank you 2y’stassies for giving us the opportunity to extend our puzzle caching skills.

I knew the code for this one and RoadieM did the solving. Beautiful spot overlooking the river so we admired the view for quite a while before stamping the log and going to the last in the series for our journey today.

RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I are having a few days up north and today we spent some time south of Devonport. We like to grab a few more of the series each time we visit the northwest.
Here we are nearly at the start of the series.....another quick find at GZ.

Out and about in the area caching with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. The puzzles had been solved as they were published so it is great to finally turn them into a smiley. Thanks for all the effort in setting up the puzzle series. The locals must have had a great time attending the tutorials. TFTP

Out and about caching with whitewebbs finding these pre solved puzzles. A nice area to revisit.

Cache and contents were in good condition, accurate co-ords led to a quick find.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Solving this series of puzzles has been great fun and I have learned a lot. I cycled out from Ulverstone (beautiful ride along the bike track and then the river) to find some of the caches I have solved so far.

Over thought this one. When I stopped, it was a quick find

A couple of days off from work and it seemed like a reasonable forecast, so I thought some time in the north west would be good with three aims. One get a break from work, two get a few puzzles that I need to claim a challenge cache in Hobart and finally get a few caches to get the wonders of the World Series done.

The drive up on Thursday was an indication of things to come. Regular showers and very cold. This continued right through the two days. At the end of each day my trousers, shows and socks where Completely saturated.

A few DNFs were had, mainly due to not wanting to search in the current shower more than anything else. Just over 100 finds for the two days, more on the first day less On the second.

Tftc.

Was starting to get a groove now with these stop and find caches

Decided to give the new cachemobile a bit of a trial run and try to collect some of the modern Wonders at the same time. We'd solved these puzzles soon after they were published and we were keen to go find the caches. We found seven today, coordinates were good in every case, think the hardest part is actually solving the puzzles. TFTC

I was surprised how busy this road was today so this was one of many occasions that I was pretending to retrieve something from the boot of my car. Another find, another sign and another smiley.

Up from Hobart for a few days for some R&R before Lady membsec becomes out of action for a few months later in the year! This is probably our last real caching day in the area! The weather has been fantastic and we have enjoyed travelling around some of the local country roads.

Having solved all existing puzzles we decided to find as many as we could while up in the area, think we have found all of them today, but we know when we return to Hobart more will come out!

The local geocaching community are so lucky to have such a great team willing to guide and teach puzzle skills. Thank you 2y’stassies, you are doing a fantastic job.

No problem with solving this puzzle, which is the way we like them. Arrived at GZ and there was a person high up overlooking the road cutting timber. Weird place to be, but he was too busy working to even notice us.

Thanks for the cache, 2y'stassies - a nice spot here, by the river, a nice compact puzzle, and a quick find.
Cheers, EPs.

Found with AlbyDangles on Day Five of the 'Bust' leg of our "Kempsey Or Bust" tour; as Covid-19 cancelled the Kempsey Mega event this weekend.
Our last full day in the area, targeting Forth to Paloona today with a few side-stops and detours.

Having solved this cache for a while now, I decided to give it a visit, particularly since there should be a trackable waiting inside.

The cache was very easy to find (and in very good condition), and the TB was indeed there. I might add that there is a fantastic view of the river, especially to the eyes of an angler, so thanks for the good spot.

TFTC/puzzle series, 2y’stassies! Smile

This is what the trip was all about to collect some of the Starting Puzzling Puzzle caches and attend some events.
This cache was no 6 for the day.

After a great day caching and a night catching up with fellow cachers yesterday, we were off out today mainly doing puzzles caches before heading home.
You can never say everything you want in a puzzle log, I'll just say i was surprised.

This was a trip North primarily to meet up with some fellow cachers we had not seen in a very long time, Friday afternoon myself and Gooseandegg set off from Hobart to stay in Ulverstone for the night before meeting up with TazScout for a couple of days of caching along the North/Northwest Coast, we hadn't put much planning into it to be honest, with restrictions lifted we just wanted to catch up with some good friends and have a laugh.
Half of the caches we planned to find I had found some of before when they were listed as GCA caches and some of them even had their old containers with the GCA listing numbers in them, others were new series that had been put out since I was last up this way and we did our best to find as many as we could in the short time we had.

Thanks for all the caches

A quick solve and a quick find. A dog was barking it's head off on the rivers edge, at the property across the other side but he was not stupid enough to enter the fast flowing water. Very picturesque spot.
Thanks 2y'stassies

Great to see this new series pop up not to long ago, some of these are fairly simple others had me stumped although I had seen all the techniques used before. Final with all of them solved I made the drove down the road doing some dodgy pull ins in spots to get close to GZ. All the caches are in great condition.

Today around lunch time I made the decision to head to the North west to find a few caches and clean up a lot of the new puzzles around the area.
With the rain looming it seemed to hold off for the remainder of the day.
Overall 42 caches found and 3 DNFs.

Thanks for the cache

On the way to grab some new caches using newly aquired skills in puzzle solving. Thanks must go to 2y'stassies for most of this ! So its good to see thse little blue question marks turn to blue GZ symbols, and thank goodness after solving four puzzles in this area they were all straight forward finds. Thanks 2y's for helping to add puzzle caches to our geo-travels.
