On a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. Our first visit to South Australia.Driving from Millicent to Robe today. We came by to check out the town and grab some caches. This could be very cool in stormy weather or even just at high tide.I was about to make a dnf and reiterate the sentiments of the last dnf but it turned out that said Rock is a very good decoy. +FPTFTC
Wellllllll.....decided to go down and look at the water and the rockpools.Easy find really when in the right location

Day two on a SE SA short trip with The Morris.
About lunchtime we drove up to Beachport, and completed a few AdLabs and several caches.
Unfortunate. the pier was being worked on so we couldn't finish that AdLab.
On the way back to Tantanoola we completed the series along the channel.
There was a bit of surf today, but not enough to activate the blowhole.
Small enough to find the cache though.
Thanks, Robmc.

We headed over the border with Robmc, the campers and the bikes for 4 days of caching. We had a coupe of days of fabulous weather and the rain held off for most of it.
Day 2 we left our camp at Tantanoola and spent the morning the pines and then headed to Beachport to do the AdLabs and tour around. We were thwarted by pier repairs and the lack of a fish and chip shop but it was a sunny afternoon and all caches were in good condition and except for one, readily found.
Thanks for contributing to a great few days of caching.

found before the Birthday Brunch event. quick find. Well i wasn't expecting it at that level.
Out with Mogni for a extended weekend. We came down to Mount Gambier for Friday night and then Beachport for the second night. We came down for hevwalker's 60 th birthday. We cached our way down on the Friday and placed a few as well. We made it to Penola before the rain started non stop, up until then it was on and off. Saturday was worse in the day but the weather improved by night time. Sunday was easily the best day of the 3 days.

TFTC away with Crack n Lee Lee for the week exploring the area. This one took a while to locate. We’d pretty much given up when Crackers located the prize! Cheers
Away for a couple of days with Featherwaite.
We concentrated on Kingston, Robe, Cape Jaffa, Beachport and Southend.
We mainly found all the cache we were looking for.
Was here a month ago and didn't try for the cache, but the blowholes were working. Today it was a quick find.

No luck for us but interesting to see the waveshevwalker, Thank you so much for placing it.
TFTC hevwalker for your cache Beachport Blowhole that we found today. After a hard day yesterday finding the GV2020 series we wanted a more relaxing day. We decided to head out to Beachport for a lunch of fish and chips and concentrate on Adventure Labs. We would also attempt any caches that we saw close by. A chilly day but rewarded by the coastal views.
This was one of the caches we had targeted.

Great spot lots of cobwebs, oooh scary! Original logbook water damaged because was left out of plastic bag, signed small Easter book
There was no blowing here today or if there was, it wasn't able to be seen from where we were all standing. The seas were calm which probably didn't help. It is still a beautiful vantage point. Thank you for bringing us here with the placing of this cache.
Out and about across several days with a fun caching crew that consisted of ChooknChunk, Team Crackers, micaparamedic, RoamingHowie, Papi4506, and GeoTurtle37.
The laughter, frivolity, cheeky comments, deep and meaningful conversations, drinking, eating, caching, dust, long grass, the spectacular Andrew (RoamingHowie also known as the human ladder) taking one or two or three for the team (geocaching certainly got him wet) , then there was Rob (Papi), his climbing skills and agility was second to none - amazing!! [^], and what Jo could do with a pole is impressive! [:X]
Life has been a little challenging lately (as it has been for many), but this geocaching trip instantly injected some nature, connection with others and different scenery into the mix (with the silliness and laughter) - just what the soul needed.
Thank you to those who placed the caches and then a special thanks to those who maintain the caches that we found. [:X]

I was out and about for some post Mega wind down time. After heading to Dimboola for the event weekend I jumped on the end of a convoy to Millicent. Today was a more relaxed day of finds with the group splitting and adventuring all over the place at times.
We toured the countryside enjoying the adventure. These were generally logged in individual names, unless space was an issue and it was VVR (Vic Vapor Rubs). The group today included Team Crackers, Papi4506, GeoTurtle37, micaparamedic, chooknchunk, Goodlook and myself.
A nice spot to visit and explore!
Thanks hevwalker for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

After not being able to attend the GV2020 Mega, Chook finally made it here in Millicent with her fellow Vics: The Tritonz, Papi4506, Geoturtle37, Team Crackers, micaparamedic, Roaming Howie and our honorary Vic GoodLook.
Today was Day 3 of our trip and the targets were Lake McIntyre, Southend and Beachport. What a lovely place Beachport is. Really enjoyed all the views and the places the caches took us to. After a yummy fish n chips for lunch, we headed off to find some more caches and enjoy more views, including this blowhole. TFTC hevwalker.

Not much blowhole action today, plenty of mosquito action though! Got out of there fast before I became dinner. TFTC

Our third full day in the south east corner of S.A. with our caching companions Suscoe. Today we cached our way to the west of Millicent around Beachport, dodging the showers and finding a good variety of caches, including a number of Adventure Labs. What a magic area of coastline.
Thanks hevwalker for placing caches in interesting locations.

Suscoe headed out today in the terrific company of Phetlern.
It was another cold day with showers flowing through from the south west as the day went by, luckily for us we only had a few directly overhead.
So between the showers there was sunshine and plenty of time for caches.
We had multis, traditionals, a virtual, an Earth Cache and Adventure Labs on out list for today and we found quite a few along the way.
This area of Beachport and Southend is a delight with fabulous coastal views today.
Thanks tohevwalker for this hide.
There was a bit of wave action here today, quite a decent sized swell was coming through.

In the Millicent area for a few days, we are signing the logs as Vic1. Much lower than we were initially looking. Great spot. Thanks for placing the cache hevwalker.
Today was day 3 of a Millicent blitz with McLookers, Alansee, BeckNmonts, Maccamob and Rabbitto, all signed as Vic1.
Thanks to hevwalker for the cache.

We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 3 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. Third port of call is Beachport. We signed the group as Vic1. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches hevwalker!
Found by Mary and David, in company with McLookers, beckNmonts, Alansee, muzza, and Rabbitto (signing as VIC1), at at 15:55. Day 3 of our trip, planned to tackle the many caches around Millicent, as we'd been locked down last year and unable to attend GV2020. Our thanks to hevwalker.
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. This was our third day in the area and was windy and cold again. We found fewer caches today but that is caching. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.
TFTC!
Great hiding spot.
Surf a bit rough today, but didn’t see any blowhole.

Dodged muggles and prevailed. Thanks for the hide. No wind or waves to make the blowhole blow so this was the excitement!
A great location for a trad and an earthcache. No blowhole action though.
Cache safe and sound.
Cache safe and sound.
Found at 16:45 with Olga. A lovely stretch of coast, but the blowhole wasn't performing
Time was a little bit against us this trip and we were only allowing five minute searching time to make sure where we had to be on time. Perhaps the satellite gods weren't with us here and although we searched in a few logical locations we certainly didn't try as hard as we normally would if we had more time.
Thanks anyway for bringing us to this fantastic area.
Thanks anyway for bringing us to this fantastic area.
The wind was crazy today and not a day to be at the beach so with a few willing to join me we made out way into Beachport. The appeal of a lot of non sequential ALs and a number of new caches since I was last here... Oh, and not sugar donuts!
With the wind from the right direction and higher seas this had potential but low tide and no blow hole. Wandered down and find the cache tucked away nicely. Thanks for the cache!

On my bike doing the AdLab and Earth cache this morning and thought I'd make it a hatrick and find the traditional too. Nicely tucked away.
Being somewhat unsteady on my feet at the best of times, I was pretty cautious in today’s wind and rain. Tried both the high and the low road today, but nothing jumped out at me, so decided to just enjoy the area and take some photos before retreating back to the calm of the geo-mobile.You are too clever for me, hevwalker.
Visited here with goingplaces2 and jebjeb. A quick find was made and the cache was soon signed with all names and returned to its place. TFTC.
We found it together with GoingPlaces2 and Ilook4geo.
There were a lot of mossies in the hide.

While out on a caching adventure with jebjeb and ilook4geo today, we decided to pay a visit to Beachport. There were plenty of caches to find and we just chose a selection of different ones. Some were a bit easier to find than others but we ended up having a successful day. Logs were signed before caches were replaced. Thank you to hevwalker for placing this cache.
Another caching adventure with Mattycat, Sebastbat and Gem, today we and including Beachport, cache was found after a bit of a search once we were at the right height we soon had the cache in hand

Post geoventure caching with Sebastbat, Jack, **JEM**, and Froghoppin, to clear some SE maps Mostly headed around Beachport today, but did get distracted a little [:o)]
Sorry for some fairly generic logs today, it's a lot to get logged on a night after so much driving around LOL But we certainly had a lot of fun finding each and every cache !
Took a bit but finally blew!
Thanks you for putting this cache out on the SE SA geomap hevwalker

All our Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

I really enjoyed getting together with Mattycat, Sabasbat and froghopping along with mistfits to get through these caches.
Finally, the day of the Mega Event in Millicent has arrived and I was lucky enough to have escaped Queensland to attend
After the official opening, I joined forces with Liz and Bruce and Wollaston in search of a few challenge caches, adventure labs, and other caches which might come our way on the day We had a great afternoon, and even met a few other cachers at various locations along the way
Thank you hevwalker for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Day out caching around Beachport with Guzs Travellers - logged signed as Gush. Thanks for bringing us here
Found on my way home from the mega. Stopped into Beachport as I needed a cache for another challenge cache and to do some Adventure labs. Ducked around the fisherman whilst also completing the Earthcache here. TFTC
Day 2 of Millicent GeoVenture 2020 heading out with Wollaston, Liz & Bruce and JustaTrifle.
Day 2 is MEGA DAY and the weather is miserable but nothing was going to dampen our spirits, today’s mission was to boil a giant crayfish
Fueled up on delicious egg & bacon sangas, drinks and snacks stashed, we were on our way.
Along the way we kept our eyes peeled and managed to tick off a few trads and add some more smileys to our map.
Thanks to the many hands and minds putting together these series for the long awaited event.
