There just seems to be an influx of problem muggles in the surrounding houses even though this is a public area with a playground. So sadly going to say goodbye to this hide.
Still waiting for the arrival of a necessary part . Dont know why its taking so long!
Well, I hate to state the obvious, but yes, as stated in the description, the hide is not in the park, and I believe the troublesome muggle may well have been at play, so Im going to come up with another alternative. The person represented by this park was quite a local figure in his time and I would like to keep it active.
Hi Sweetmanda,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Not sure if the coordinates aren’t correct, or it’s missing but like the last few people we didn’t find it ??
Not sure how the prev geocacher missed it when we saw it from the car. Also the log is full. TFTC
Met a lovely guy from across the road who has apparently seen many strangers looking for the black cylinder thing in the tree. He couldn’t find it and I couldn’t see it so not sure if it’s there anymore ??
my first ever geocache and honestly it was so fun to find ! easy enough to locate but not too easy that it would be stolen or lost.
With the mercury expected to soar into the high 30's I made an early start of it as meandered around the burbs picking up a handful of caches along the way. Time restraints and the heat eventually forced me to call it a day about midday.
As I approached this one I thought my coords were aiming for the middle of the road.
Once at GZ I quickly had it in hand.

Coordinates spot on , spotted as I walked up to it and did a bit of fishing , the hint was a good clue .Well done about the story about Patrick Newman very interesting story about the local education, on a day the state teachers are on strike . TFTC Sweetmanda

Glad I had him with me I needed the height

The calendar finds needs what it needs, and today it wants a few more. So...
Headed down to Campbelltown just after lunch to attack more of the *AGAAS* series. After a warm-up find, found five out of five of them, including two previous DNFs. Then I headed to Gregory Hills for an AL and its bonus.
Good day out.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Took a few seconds before I spotted the obvious!
Quick sign and replace and away.

Literal park and grab, Leanne retrieved while I watched from the car and signed it. TFTC
Quick find while my daughter watched from the car ( and kept my phone charging!!) TFTC
Teamed up again with morty8888 for a days caching around Glen Alpine. Today's target was the CO's small parks series. We visited twenty of the twenty one caches in the series and had eighteen finds and two dnf's. We didn't attempt number 18 as we weren't sure how to access the park. I enjoyed reading the background to the naming of the parks/reserves and noted that a lot of the containers were something that I regularly see for sale at the local chemist chain for use as a pill container.
A quick and easy find for me while morty8888 sat in the car and watched.

With the weather in good form and a bunch of caches by Sweetmanda waiting to be found, Oldmorty and I headed south. With a large list of pros to visit we ended up finding all we attempted bar 2.
This was a random location but easy find with no one around to wonder why we stopped here. TFTC!

We tried to think where an earth a park would of been going off the map , whilst trying to be quiet at night Gabstar seemed more happy to wave to the dog watching from across the road at the front door. TFTC
Strange spot for a cache but quickly found. Gabstar got to wave at a dog stop it got bonus points from her! TFTC
In a seemingly random location, I had not read the cache description until now. An interesting tale! geobeau64 spotted this one straight away. TFTC
A good walk and good conversation has it's risks. We walked right past this cache until misspalot realised and turned us around. Amusing as rarely has a cache been harder to miss. geobeau64 made a rapid find.
Coordinates changed from:
S 34° 5.068 E 150° 47.640
Coordinates changed to:
S 34° 5.084 E 150° 47.593
Distance from original: 255.9 feet or 78.0 meters.
I had been giving this cache a bit of time so that the nearby unhappy muggle could have time to forget about this, and then place it nearby instead. Its a bit away from the intended park, but well within range. Same type of hide as previous.

Temporarily disabling due to an aggressively disapproving local. I fear it’s safer to move the cache away from this person even though the cache is not even on his property.
Found with Littl3Vix. We made this one a quick park and grab while pretending to look for directions lol Tftc!
Found with MizCupcake. Feeling sneaky we thought we might try it, but did have a couple of muggle eyes on us. Got the perfect chance and grabbed it. TFTC!
Drove to Campbelltown and Narellan today to try and get a lot of caches in the area. I had not been there for a while since for some reason Campbelltown is my caching nemesis. Today only 2 DNF, so came home happy. A quick find here, very bold hide!

Quick find but not easy. High muggle area!!!!! Lucky enough we could park literally right next to it to quickly grab! Thanks
What an interesting fellow Patrick Newman was, he deserves a better park than this one.
Having read some logs I parked the geomobile around the corner a way and walked back to GZ. Fortunately its a weekday early afternoon so there doesn't seem to be any muggles around but this cache is in what could be a really exposed location. I noticed the attachment device as I looked for the cache then saw the cache.
It didn't take too long to have the logsheet out and signed and everything replaced.
Haven't seen a cache attached quite like that before. Hope it lasts!

#5364- Felt a bit conspicuous with this one with a neighbour nearby. Also I'm not too tall so it was a stretch. Got there though- thanks

Mrs Booo has better eyes than Mr Booo. A quick find thanks
Thanks Sweetmanda for placing this cache.

As frequently happens, Sue sighted the cache and Dan retrieved it. Nice one. TFTC
There has been a muggle strike on this cache so although it is still mostly in place there is no "cache" in place
Took a photo of what appears to be remnants of the cache- appears cut and only a wire remains together with white zip lock, unfortunately needs replacing, tftc
Not sure how this has not been found but I will claim FTF on this one. Thanks for the cache. [FTF]
