After spending yesterday happily caching with team KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46), we couldnt resist heading out again to tick more off our list. Found this one quickly after some on the spot calculations. Well thought out multi. Tftc.
Out with Geomum007 today and picking up some caches while in the area. Enjoyable multi, and nice easy find. TFTMC
This is definitely the last one for today. Worked things out, and we were close by, so we went looking . Gotcha. The existing cache had been in the sun too long and fell apart as we retrieved it. Replaced the cahe. Everything is new again. . We have had a great day geoing the area.We wish to thank all the C..O for their hides
Many thanks to GEM54 for the on the fly maintenance of this one. Good to go.
Worked this one out, checksums were useful to make sure we were on track. Found the final with no problems. The container has gotten brittle and started breaking as we extracted it, will need a new one. TFTC!
Today, our geocaching journey began at the given coordinates, leading us to the initial stage. After decoding clues and solving puzzles, I unveiled the coordinates for the next stage. I embraced the challenge of finding the second stage. The landscape tested our geocaching skills, making the discovery even more rewarding. At the final stage, we uncovered the hidden gem. The cache container was cleverly concealed, blending seamlessly with the surroundings. It was a moment of triumph as we signed the logbook, leaving our mark on this multi-cache adventure. We extend our gratitude to the cache creator for crafting an engaging and thought-provoking multi-cache. The journey was filled with excitement, and we look forward to more geocaching adventures ahead.Happy Caching!
On a quick trip north and collected a few caches on our way before heading back south. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

Hi there youngoldfella, we found your cache End of the Road
We’re back to caching Bundaberg again. (Hopefully Ian won’t get a call to go back into hospital this week).
We started the day off by nominating a cache cluster in an area we would like to visit, and then took a route that was determined (mostly) by the next closest cache as determined by our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.
Regards
Ian & Penny

While staying in Maryborough for a few day with GrannySmith1947 and Snickersallen to do the JBFseries we ventured further north to Bundaberg and Bargara to do the ALs and others plus an Event. Completed Jigsaw at home in readiness for trip. Quickly found on the 3rd log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
We left Maryborough, headed to Bundaberg before moving on to Bargara in readiness for the evenings event.
We raced around doing Adventure Lab caches up and down the coastline and finally got to stop by for this multi.
Thanks youngoldfella for the good hide which we found quickly

That’s right, don’t rush the math! After a slight disagreement with Mr Suelee about what numbers we should be using, it was pretty straightforward after that to get the cache. Tftc YOF
Another Multi done in one go from start to finish! We start to loose our fear doing them.
Getting the numbers and calculating was not a problem, finding the cache neither.

The current road works blocked us initially from attempting this one but a detour round and approach from the opposite end saw us reach both waypoints. Mrs SKI did the calculations and all was good. A quick find at GZ.
Our last full day in Bundaberg. Time for a mop up of areas we haven't been able to get to yet, but we weren't able to visit everywhere.
We began by working through the farmland between town and the coast and then finished up with more magnificent views as we traveled through the coastal town to where we had got to on a previous day.
More good-sized caches in great condition. A credit to the COs.
We have had some great caching days here and look forward to a return visit.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

#14361 - 20:00; Day sixteen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Reached Bundaberg last night and today the plan was to finish off the T.A.F. series we started yesterday, complete some local adventure labs, visit the Bundaberg Distillery, then on with some more caching. After finishing off our adventure lab run with a couple in Bagara, we had a top meal in a local restaurant and grabbed this multi on our way back to town. Our calculated coords seemed a little out, although the checksums added up. Found the cache though at 17 metres from where the GPSr wanted to take us and in the most obvious location. TFTC youngoldfella
Day 16 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n for the mega and today was day 3 of the drive back to Canberra.
Still needing a multi for the day, we looked over this during dinner and decided we'd hit it up on the way back to the motel. Once at the posted co-ords, the maths brain got an overload, however all worked out and we were soon headed to GZ. Took a little while to find it by torch light, but find we did and our names were soon in log book.
Thanks for the fun YOF.....all good here.

Muggle65, Brislions and I did not have this one on the radar today but we were so close that we decided to give it a go. Fun cache. Thank you so much
Bris , & I are hunting wabbits around Bundy in the hope of finding a Bundy Bear to not really just collecting a few finds on the way back to BrisVegas. Quick and easy find in the end after some calculations by my favourite
Day 3, Green Geckos and Muggle65 and I were heading home today. We had a few caches to grab. We found 10 today. The breakdown was 4 traditional 3 mystery 2 multi and a earthcache. I needed this oldie.
We had a good day caching.
Sorry for the generic log.

We are currently travelling along Queensland‘s coast on a short vacation. Of course some target caches were also on the list of must do’s along the way and this was one of them. Thank you very much for placing this geocache. I had to use the checksums a few times before the correct coordinates appeared
In the area today and picking up caches along the way and this was one of them. Managed to obtain the right info and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.

Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
The information was collected easily enough. While I was working out the final, a local farmer stopped by to ask me if I was from the power company and wanting to know about a new transformer being installed nearby. Unfortunately I had to disappoint him.
The cache was quick find.
Thanks youngoldfella for the cache.

25/6/21 On holidays from Mackay in Bundaberg for some caching fun. Thanks for placing this cache for my enjoyment. TFTC SL Thanks for the puzzle
TFTC. After waiting for the showers to finish we were able to get out for a few caches before doing some more work on the motor home roof. We needed to wait for the roof to dry a bit.
A stretch of road we had not previously traversed.
We found the two poles with no trouble. Had some issues with the arithmetic but we got there after double checking ourselves.

Enjoying my long weekend in the Bundaberg area. Next on the list was this multi. With the information collected and calculations made, I headed to GZ. There, I felt rather conspicuous as there was once again a lot of passing traffic. After a lengthy wait, there was finally a break in the traffic and I was able to grab the cache. After signing the log, there was a shorter wait to return the cache to its spot. TFTC
Tft multi, busy here early Sunday morning. Did the maths with no errors, easy find at GZ.
Staying in Bundy for a few days and finding some caches in the region. Some big numbers to work out, and I was a bit worried if U had the right poles but the co-ords were accurate so I had no problems coming up with the GZ co-ords first time. Love a multi, FP here

I tried to take a bit of a guess where this one would be and you know what, I looked only 3 metres away before going about the multi the proper way.
I was quite surprised/not surprised when the solve came about.
The police stopped for a long time while I was looking at Waypoints, but its like they had the epiphony...thats one of those nerdy geocachers.lol.
Thanks YOF

A few weeks back I was asked if I would like to go on a weekend caching trip chasing some target caches. With a leave passed granted, if I got all my work done at home, and seeing i would be on holidays anyways, a green light soon appeared.
Our first day of caching in a group and with target caches set, we were off. We had some multi’s, oldies, letterboxes, trads, puzzles and a lab series on the list to collect today, yes a busy day. The list did get added to as we passed a few others along the way.
Multis you either hate em or love em, this one did have us revisiting the first wp as the numbers gathered were a little wrong. Once we went back and recalculated our numbers we soon had something that looked promising. A reasonably quick find by the team and with the log signed it was a matter of replacing as found and moving onto the next in our list. Thank you for the puzzle and placing it here for us to enjoy.

Spent a long weekend picking up caches around the area with great company! Thanks for placing and adding to our amazing adventures
Well didn’t we make a little bit of a hash of this! . We may of have to revisit WP1 to just check a number as the good old checksum (thanks for that) didn’t quite match what we had. Hmmm yes those numbers do look close’ish. Never mind, some quick’ish maths and we were onto the final.

Despite the poor weather forecast, Crookedpete, JezNDez and I set off on an impromptu road trip from Brisbane to Bundaberg chasing a large patch of potential FTFs which appeared to still be on offer. After encountering rain on the drive up, we lucked in with the rest of the day remaining pretty well precipitation free. In the end, a great day to be out caching.
With the team jet ski completing one successful mission already today, we decided to try our luck on this multi, using the experience we had gathered so far this trip. Accosting again the poor the steer we had encountered at another cache, we headed off to our suspected GZ. After widening the search to some other likely locations, we came away empty handed, resigned to having to complete the cache the way the CO intended . As the team numbers man, I was delegated to the number crunching. A location was soon identified and off we tootled, quickly spotting the likely hide (and a similar one to those inspected, with no luck, at the other locations). Our first multi cache **FTF** this trip. TFTC

Some heavy rain forecasts scuttled the planned Bromance camping weekend in North NSW. The forecast around Bundy looked reasonable, and there were 70 FTF's with some generous DT up for grabs. Swellerfungus opted to continue the repairs arising from his 10 cent bathroom washer replacement (current cost is into the $1,000's), leaving the Bromance Lite* heading north early this morning.
At the end of a nearish road, we had wondering if we could jet ski this multi and actually searched a few likely spots - and specifically what we expected to see at the end of the road. Having completed the maths, it turns out we were correct with the hide type, just had the wrong road!
Logs were signed with the team's Bromance stamp. Many thanks youngoldfella
