TFTC youngoldfella your cache Under Cover that we found today. After the CITO we headed here to avenge a DNF. Made the find and asking myself How did we miss this one?Find Count: 20577
We were delighted to find that our plans to continue night caching in this area aligned with a supermoon. This enhanced our experience, as the moonlight was very atmospheric and we kept admiring the moon as we searched for caches. Fast find here. Signed as KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46). Tftc
Hubby has a SUP race on this weekend at Elliot Head with a plan to stay in Bargara. Since Ive not been up here for a couple of years, I thought I would tag along and grab some caches all of the way and while hes racing.Since Hubby will need the car, I have bought my trusty e-bike along for the trip.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I found your cache, Under Cover today. This is my 3191 find.youngoldfella, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Enjoying a day near home, not 1000km away in a big rig, with my wife Geomum007 and visiting Mum in Law, Busy Paws. TFTC
Your hints are really good and much appreciated. Nice easy find. KK and I - gotcha ! Thankyou for placing and maintaining.
We called back and had better luck this time .found nice new cache. Can now turn a blue face into a smile.
No doubt just to being inexperienced at this. So many forks in trees and lack of an idea of how the cache should look. We'll keep trying but should log the defeat.
We noted that this cache had been recently replaced. In spite of scratching around we were unable to locate. Not saying it was not there just that we could not spot it.

After seeing the DNF and as I do not live that far from GZ went and had a look and YES it is still where I placed it. Updated the description and additional and changed the co ords by one digit being the last in the east set of numbers,. GPSr does wander quite erratically in the tree canopy here whilst you are on the track down to the beach.

Another great spot to check out the view . We scratched around for some time. With no luck. Will try to call back soon and have another look .
Sneaky hide! Found it after a little search! Thought it was a littered beer bottle to begin with! Tftc!
Tftf up here on holidays from Ipswich. Came for a ride and found some caches. I must have dropped my pen along the way. Tftf

Hi there youngoldfella, we found your cache Under Cover
Well here’s day two of our Back to Bundy trip.
We started the day off by nominating a cache cluster in an area we would like to visit, and then took a route that was determined (mostly) by the next closest cache as determined by our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.
Regards
Ian & Penny

A planned trip north with a mate to check out some of the countryside. We got in some camping in some not so usual spots. It has been fun and the best part is I get to cache in places I do not usually get to visit.
I started my trek around Coral Cove and Innes Park before working my way to Bargara, Elliot Heads and surrounds, this was my areas of attack today, before an evening event. There are some nice cache hides and some nice areas around here. It is a little hot but that onshore wind is right there as usual.
It ran into a few Brisbane caches who were up this way and who seemed to be doing the same thing.
Thanks for the caches and the hides, I signed the logs and returned the caches as found. The hints on the caches are very helpful.

We had the entire area to ourselves, so enjoyed the sea views and found the cache.
Our last full day in Bundaberg. Time for a mop up of areas we haven't been able to get to yet, but we weren't able to visit everywhere.
We began by working through the farmland between town and the coast and then finished up with more magnificent views as we traveled through the coastal town to where we had got to on a previous day.
More good-sized caches in great condition. A credit to the COs.
We have had some great caching days here and look forward to a return visit.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

Unable to locate today. It appears the bushes where the cache should be have been pruned back.
Our first full day of geocaching in the Bargara area. Hit my head on the said low branch but it didn't seem to knock any sense into me!!! Cache found after quite a search. TFTC youngoldfella
Today our plan was to go and do a huge lot of the T.A.F. caches, somehow this did not eventuate. What we did find ourselves doing was having a lovely drive around the area. Today we started close in to Bundaberg and worked our way out in an ever widening arc. All bar one of the caches were found as per yesterday as the co-ords were great. Again we thank all the cache owners for placing the caches in areas that had safe parking for us. We found one TB today and again the caches had good swag for the little ones.

Day 4 of my week away exploring Bundaberg and Maryborough.
Today was another long day and I will be doing generic logs to all the caches.
My apologies to all the CO's.
A big thank you to all the CO's for their hard work in placing and maintaining all the hides for everyone to find.

Lots of beer cans around this area tissues and rubbish so wondering if it’s been discovered
Try as I may, I couldn't locate this one. I'm sure it's probably there, but we'll hidden or not where I was looking. Stunning location though, so it's not all bad!
Took us awhile to locate it .
Hint for fellow cachers you can just reach in and around .No need to bush bash

I wasn't so keen on rooting around in the wet undergrowth but I saw a few places where I thought it would go but evidently not..
First full day of caching in the Bundy area and spent the morning over near the coast. Thanks YOF for the many caches you have placed around these places.

We are in Bundy for a few days.
Took quite a while for GPSr to settle while a few raindrops were falling, but in the end good coordinates led you to the hide.
Log signed and replaced on March 5, 2020 at 10:31 AM. TFTC, youngoldfella.

Despite the poor weather forecast, Crookedpete, JezNDez and I set off on an impromptu road trip from Brisbane to Bundaberg chasing a large patch of potential **FTF** 's which appeared to still be on offer. After encountering rain on the drive up, we lucked in with the rest of the day remaining pretty well precipitation free. In the end, a great day to be out caching.
While Crookedpete headed off on foot to the next cache, I rejoined Dez and Victor Del Prado for the short drive up the road to this cache. Crookedpete strolled up just as we arrived and we jointly set about the search. A trick hide here but we managed to snag the find. TFTC

Some heavy rain forecasts scuttled the planned Bromance camping weekend in North NSW. The forecast around Bundy looked reasonable, and there were 70 FTF's with some generous DT up for grabs. Swellerfungus opted to continue the repairs arising from his 10 cent bathroom washer replacement (current cost is into the $1,000's), leaving the Bromance Lite* heading north early this morning.
After a big run of FTF's this morning, Seff who has his list on watch, tells us that a nearby one has just been found by another cacher. Some competition for the rest of the day perhaps? This is a good spot with a great view.
Logs were signed with the team's Bromance stamp. Many thanks youngoldfella
