The hiding place cache and pukeko have all gone so time to retire this one. Thanks to all who visited.
Third unsuccessful visit; this seems a bit ridiculous given that everyone else has been having no difficulties! I have talked to a previous finder, seen a photo of the approximate location (right where the GPS took me anyway) and aligned myself with the photos from previous logs. I have crawled out and down on both sides and searched for another good 20 min today. I feel like I am searching in a parallel universe where this cache does not exist!
Took 15 mins to find haha, but very fun. You need to look quite hard. On the left side of slide
Once we figured out that it wasn’t what we thought it was we felt around and found it! TFTC.
Tight for for our fingers but got it out. Replaced more kindly for next person. Tftc
The first for the day, woot woot. No one about at 930, so a nice quick find. Loved the fake rock, my kids would love to play on that. Cheers
Was passing by today and checked the cache. All still in place an in good condition. Aslan
Another go at this one, but no luck. PAF confirmed where I should be looking, but the search was sadly still fruitless.

The playgrounds around these parts are really cool indeed! A bit different, and not the usual plastic crap.
Thanks for replacing the cache!
Kia ora! Paldies!

Passed by today and placed a new cache as the old one seems to have run away. Been a while since I have been here and was surprised by all the high density house going up on what I thought would be a park and the playground area has shrunk. Cheers Aslan
Mr C wanted to go out for a drive and do some geocaching. A lovely afternoon so did a wee circuit of a new area for us. Came after lunch but well before school was out to have a good look. It was not to be, either very clever or gone.
Couldn't find it found some awesome hiding places that ut could have been but no geocache
A lovely Playground for the Kids But after a long time here and like others before us, we just could'nt spot it either Might pay to check and see if it is actually there..
There was a lady and her daughter at the playground but we were able to find the cache without any problems. Nice place.
My second visit to this playground. On the first it was full of active youngsters so I didn't stay around. This afternoon I decided to check it out again, not really hopeful that I would be able to search, it being the school holidays. As I parked the cachemobile I noticed that a toddler and his mum were just leaving the playground and no one else was there - so I had the playground to myself. Nice straight forward find. Thanks for the placement Aslan*
Needed to find a few caches today. This is my third visit here. No muggles today.Thank you Aslan* for this cache.

StreetWalkerNZ and I had spotted that this cache had been replaced, so decided that early afternoon on a school day would be a good time to swing past this cache on the way back from Tai Tapu.
Today, the cache was an instant find in a location we had both searched last time, so looks like it was missing at the time. Spotted LW's name in the logbook from earlier in the day, and also saw the name of the previous finders - on the back of the log, written large in pencil, so no wonder she missed it.
Thanks for replacing and good to turn a blue face into a smile. TFTC.

#20281. After finding a multi at Tai Tapu (to fill in a multi dot day) and then working out the coords of the new one nearby, we headed here to attempt to avenge a DNF. This time it was a quick find, in what we thought last time round was the most obvious hiding place. TFTC.
That took me quite a moments to find. I am not sure what the previous logger found as I was the first to sign in the logbook of the replacement cache.
Last time I was on my own, but even bringing reinforcements this time didn't lead to a find.
SW had failed to find this a few months back, so we drove past to see if the playground was empty - it was, so we were able to search for a while. Was starting to feel like we had lurked here too long when the arrival of a muggle family sealed the deal, and we departed.
On a previous visit to this busy building area we failed to find the original cache. The replacement took a while. We tried several interpretations of the hint before we struck the correct one. A very sneaky hide. TFTC
Add me to the DNF list. A family group was playing on the swings which made searching tricky. It would help to know what I'm supposed to be looking under.

Arriving at GZ we picked up the obvious object. No cache underneath. We poked in every possible nook (there were not a lot), poked around more at GL, widened the search. But that was hopeless. So we came back to the obvious object and dug in the material underneath. There it was! We have not played quite the same trick on the next finder; it should be easier. TFTC!
This cache defeated us today, with the cold inclement weather and deep puddles not helping. The parking coordinates are a bit strange?
A little surprised to see how many people logged this cache during lockdown. I was also sucked into looking in the wrong place. Read the logs and had a duh moment. Very easy really!

Finally - went for a brief stroll through the new development. The sizes of the sections are unbelievable small - cannot imagine that a proper house fits on them.
Quick find, TFTC

First cache for us, and my 6yo lad is now hooked. Great way to explore the local area while on lockdown! TFTC
Quick find. Warm day today. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2357
I was heading for the playground when I suddenly realised I didn't need to walk quite that far. GPSs can be quite useful sometimes . I don't think I've seen so many empty sections all fenced off and waiting to enclose houses. Makes sense though I suppose. Maybe someone should paint them all before the houses go up. - - - Economies of scale and all that . TFTC .
Its amazing to see all this new development going on out here. The area is so new that the roads don't show up on the map but we still found the cache. TFTC # 15,334
Out to find a few new local caches. Hasn't this expanded? Hope the houses are built individually with a bit of flair, the fenced off sections have that box like quality look to them. Easy find here and TFTC. It will be interesting to return here in a couple of years.
Stopped by on the way home from work. Quick find and sign in a quiet spot. Cheers.
Didn't read the logs until later and we thought it was meant to be on the ground. It had been carefully hidden this way. Loved the playground, so much more up market from the tiddler where we found "Zinnia!!" Strange to chase up a cache with no road map recent enough to use as a cuddly Blanket. Ah!!- the things we rely on. Thanks G enjoyed the chase.
A nice easy find here. Brought daughter with me so she had a go on the slide. I could hear her getting shocked by the static electricity as she slid down. She had the last laugh though when she touched me and I got pinged too!! TFTC.
Hmm. Not sure where the previous finders put it (though I just had a thought as I typed this). I found it in a most obvious "look at me I'm a geocache hide" kind of spot. (Think ____ 'n Roll).
This was find number four of five today.

Logged this one off line with "Fell off" and now that's meaningless to me. Can only hope it referred to the cache and not me, and that I put it back ok! Tftc
Quick stroll around the site on my lunch break after a site meeting nearby. I also found it on the ground and replaced where I thought it had originated. Thanks for bringing me here and of course the effort to place and maintain the cache.
A nice quick find thanks. It was on the ground, so I raised it to where I thought it had fallen from.
I picked Ms_KR up from the Central library and made a weee detour on the way home.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Found, not very secure hope it stays put. Cold wind blowing so no muggles around. TFTC
Yes! After a 2TF on Wigram this one came up, and nearly at home. Tricky wee hide but {FTF} landed! Tftc
