Returning north after Dunedin mega and staying a few days in Chch with son so what better way to fill my days is to go Geocaching and today i decided on visiting Wigram. What a huge change since i was last there staying on The Runway with another son- they were the first to move into that new road some 15- 16 years ago i guess it was , Now there is a supermarket , a school , a movie theatre , a retirement village , multi housing , . Wow! Most of the caches were found except for two so the day was successful including the Labs there .This little corner could easily be the site of a CITO and you would fill many bags of trash as it seems it is used as a dumping ground but the cache was fine , I took nothing and left nothing . and remembered to check out the lab here also .
Luckily the basin is dry today so could cross and after that the cache was in hand. Yay!
I was looking for about five minutes then I was like hold up its under the The hint said that it was behind the wall so I was like him its behind the wall somewhere then I saw the middle but then I was just like magnetic key box TFTC
Great find got a bit wet but worth it! ( had to climb through the bushes a little bit)
Poked around for a sec before I settled on the obvious thing. Found the cache in good shape.
I won tickets to see [Lve](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_(band)) play in Christchurch last time they were in NZ (20+ years ago) but I couldn't make it to the concert (I still have the tickets!)They've come back down under and I'm not letting the opportunity pass me by again! With my work leave and (more importantly) my home leave approved, I flew down last night for the concert tomorrow night. Today I cached my way around Wigram, joining forces with ThatDarnBear for the afternoon. I managed to find caches for the last three missing dates on my Hidden Date calendar, which finally qualifies me for [The 365/366 Challenge - Manawatu](https://coord.info/GC7R80A).All in all, an excellent day. It's odd that this panel is here. It doesn't seem to be structural or aesthetic?Good spot though
**20,443**Had hoped that the cache wasnt behind, behind - but it was, so got a bit wet on this one. Found it, so thats what really counts! We didnt know there was an 0800 Canterbury Geocaching Help!! Phone number, it wouldve been rung red hot by now! TFTC
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location SL *tm/ww NZ**Good find and hide.*
Another day on my trip to Christchurch with tmann421.Bit of a slower day today but still many fun hides found.Signed logs tm/ww NZThanks to cache owners for all their efforts
Another month, another challenge. I doin't know if I'll manage thwe full 28 day streak but I'm keen to see how many days I can manage to get out and find caches this month. This is Streak Day 3. I only had time for one cache on my way into the city today. This was it. Coordinates spot on but I was a bit to and fro before I got my hand on the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
This one took a little longer than expected but I had one final sweep in a sensible area and there it was. Thanks for the hide.
Happily found it quite quickly on a fun cyclocache expedition around Wigram. Thanks!
Took longer than I expected but managed to find. Was about to give up especially after a dog alerted their owner of my presence. TFTC!
I felt very concealed while searching - definitely a bonus. Spiders liked the cache - not quite a bonus. Nice hide! TFTC
Felt quite concealed at GZ which is good because this one took a few minutes to find.

Another sneaky cheeky hidey hole in Wigram!
I went behind the wall, then I came put, then I went back in, checked some wrong places, and finally got it! Tried to climb out bouldering style but almost fell off and then went out normally
Kia ora! Paldies!

I am amazed that we have never been to do this one before. Maybe it is because of the difficulty in finding somewhere to park the car. Anyway today we found somewhere we could park temporarily and M walked past to wipe all the rain off the plants from the rain overnight then he gave up. I followed and quickly found the cache after the previous hint of clever hide, I knew just where to look. Nice one.
A quick easy find at the entrance to this subdivision, after a bit of a squeeze past the greenery. TFTC
Some usual caching time for fun. Had no much trouble in finding this one and cache is all good here. TFTC.
Took a couple of tries but finally figured out the secret. Would've been handy to have a 2nd on muggle watch but oh well, it still worked
TFTC!
TFTC!
Sent Partner in Caching, Mumbo11, in to find it while I stood on muggles watch....
Needed to snag a quick cache on the way home. Plus my feet are in no condition to walk far. So here I am.
We were out today finding some solved puzzle caches and others on route. Clever hide here. walked past and came back with I wonder? yep. Thanks for this cache Brodiewill.
It took two looks for us to spot this one.Nice to have it off our list..TFTH
Enjoyed the afternoon in this spacious area, very relaxing. Another quick find, TFTC
A quicker than it expected find for me today. Good hiding spot too. Thanks Brodiewill.
StreetWalkerNZ and I needed some finds today to reach 26 finds for 12 Dec. He needed only 3 but I needed 5 so we included a couple of caches that he had already found on a solo trip. As we were driving towards GZ, SW realised that we didn't have any Chch caches loaded on our GPSrs after a week spent down south , so had to rely on the phone.
This was one of the caches that SW had already found, so he went in to retrieve and handed the cache through the railings for me to sign. What service! TFTC.

Early morning geocaching session at 41 weeks pregnant with mum. Had a few more I wanted on the calendar on these days, so over the course of a couple of days we filled that calendar in a bit darker!
TFTC!!

Another morning when we headed out for a few - more time too spare than yesterday, more caches found! TFTC!!
Staying with a friend nearby, and out for an evening walk grabbing some caches around Wigram. Quick find in the second place I looked. Tftc
Last one for the day, It was a lot easier to find than I thought it was going to be.

Thank you for this cache, Brodiewill.
I don’t think I’ll ever find my way around this part of town easily, but this wasn’t difficult to get to.

#18700. Last of three caches found on a lunchtime bike ride. Quick find as I'd located this one some time back on a scouting mission. TFTC.
I needed to find 6 caches today, in my personal challenge, to bring my finds total for the 18th August up to 26 and thus into a deeper shade of green on GC's Statistic Daily Finds Calendar.
After coming up 2 caches short of my target in Rolleston I headed to where my next closest unfound caches were. Having found #5 just a few minutes previously I moved a few hundred metres to this cache's GZ. A nice quick find. Yea, I'm done for the day. Time to head home for lunch. TF another cache BW

A quick find while out and about with Talla64 and our grandson. We had spent some time at the Air Force museum and took the opportunity to find a few caches around the area. Thanks for the cache Brodiewill.
A bit of spare time this avo so took the kids for a walk where the yhad a great time running back and forth through the tunnels. Cheers
Another 3 lockdown breakers here. I had a bit of troubling getting the cache to stay where it is supposed to. Hopefully it won't be lying on the ground when the next person comes looking. Thanks for the hide.

Nice fun one! Definitely be willing to get a couple scratches from the bushes and put your hands where you might be slightly worried. Thanks!
I go every day for a walk during the lock-down period and today I decided to change my daily route to grab the last remaining caches in this area. It was a beautiful sunny day with many muggles around. But I managed to grab this one without any problems.

Nice quick find on a warm day. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2355
Another interesting one to do in my work clothes. I got ones strange look and hoped if I ignored him he would go away without a fuss. That strategy worked.
Thanks Brodiewill for placing this geocache it is find 8469 for me.
