Great to get another puzzle signed off, wasn't sure if it was still there when we approached GZ but the previous log confirmed how we thought it would be hidden and it was right where the others had left it. TFTC and the puzzle

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Today was about the numbers. After completing two handy trails, we started looking for anything to boost our tallies Rain threatened to spoil things. We had a fairly good idea about solving this puzzle, and it didnt take long to extract the final coordinates As soon as we arrived and surveyed ground zone, we wondered if the cache was still in play. We prepared to take a closer look and I spotted the original hide sitting in the dirt. Naturally, we signed the log and Gap placed the cache behind, against the edge of the concrete. Thanks haydn.seek. TFTP and TFTC.

Another journey to the Manawatu from Kapiti with Flowerydaze hunting for caches. Lovely warm spring day for caching. Met up with the CO at the location and happily signed the fresh replacement log. All good here NOW, FP coming your way haydn.seek

I am very pleased to say that the CO has replaced this cache, so all is good at GZ. It's a tricky hide! I enjoyed the puzzle, and am pleased to say I have met all those mentioned on several occasions at various events. So thank you for the puzzle and for the replacement cache haydn.seek. FP coming your way.

Had a PAF about this cache and as there had been one DNF previous i thought it was a good idea to ride my bike on such a lovely day and meet the geocaches at GZ and check if it was still in situ Which it wasn't so it is now repaced and ready to go

03-Jun-22
Unfortunately a dnf, even with the help of the co. I have a feeling this one has gone missing?

Another cache in hand. Thank you CO for pointing me in the right direction to solve this mystery.

Well after months of chaos organizing the farm, house and contents, we're finally off for some adventures.
We couldn't leave the area without picking up this cache, since our names are on it, so after doing a couple of errands, we headed here.
Found it after a short search.
Many thanks for setting this up, and including us in the puzzle.

Nice and easy solve but the find had me traversing a few times before the wee attractive thing was sighted. Cheers Wilma.

A desire to get out and about after work today and also a souvenir chasing 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 cache (or two) were on the agenda. I ended up in Palmy for a few solved puzzles, a non-logged Multi DNF and a couple of others. Nice to be able to get out and about after work with a couple of hours of daylight available. Thanks to the COs for their caches.

On a mission to collect PWGT caches and puzzle finals today. Stopped here today and soon realised where the cache would be. Took a little while before we spotted it. Thanks to all the local cachers who help keep puzzle lovers such as ourselves coming back for more.

18 September 2021 12:00. Number 10094 for me. After visiting the local event, we had a little time available to explore PN and decided that it would be best used in tracking down a few of the previously solved puzzles, of which this was one.

And a sneaky little hide to boot! Really satisfying to track this one down. Tftc

Clearing up some other Palmy caches after CO’s CITO. Cracked in puzzle solving group, after we’d seriously overthought it! Took a few minutes before IF spotted it, thanks haydn.seek!

After work headed out for some caching. After a fine day it decided to start raining but not enough to spoil our search. We solved this last night and it’s twin in New Plymouth. Took a few minutes to check all around GZ before spotting the cache. Signed the log which was nice and dry. A big THANK YOU haydn.seek for another smiley.

I've got one Natural Wonder left to find to unlock the fourth level of the Wonders of the World promotion, and this is one of only two local unfound caches with the requisite wonder.
the Seagnoid is visiting Castle Etherlord for the weekend, and he needs a Puzzle cache to satisfy his latest calendar streak. I steered us towards this one so that we could both benefit from the find Wink

We hunted at GZ for a few minutes while SkyCraneKid and EtherMiss played at the nearby facilities, and tS made the find in due course.
Signed the log as ECatS for *Etherlord Clan and the Seagnoid*

Thanks for the cache, especially as it is 1/8 about MMMMEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Big Grin

Etherlord needed to grab this cache as it unlocked the last section of the Adventurer souvenir Challenge. I need a puzzle cache. So a quick stop by here was just the thing. Thanks for the hide!

(oh - and yet another cache celebrating ME! Me! Me! Mememememememememe!!!!

#19717. We had planned to find this one when we left Palmerston North heading north last week. However, we had the wrong coords in our GPSr's. We sorted out the issue while up in Auckland, and had no problem navigating to GZ today. TFTC.

18-Mar-21
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our last full day in the Manawatu. Today's plan is to mop of the remaining SHIELD caches then head to Feilding and Palmy to do some Adventure labs there. After a lot of driving this week, it'll be good to stretch our legs with some ad labs that involve walking.
We have found caches by nearly all the cachers mentioned, and we do appreciate all their hides. Took a few iterations to get on the right wavelength about what was required for this cache. Took a bit to find the cache as well as it was well hidden away. SW did the honours here. TFTC.

A group of our local (Wellington) cachers got together online some days ago to collectively solve some puzzles and this one was discussed. We were trying all kinds of approaches, but it wasn't until one of the group received a hint from the owner that we were just over-complicating things. Anyway, the solve was straightforward and I put this on the 'to-get' pile. Well today we were up in Palmy on a family day trip so I was picking up a few caches here and there. Parked up nearby and I started having a look, it took a while but eventually I got my hands on the sneakily hidden cache. All good here. TFTC

Seeing as I'm one of those mentioned in the puzzle, I solved it at time of publication in the hope of perhaps getting the FTF. However I was beaten to the punch (great work markhnz & W.E.K.A).

So instead I have been saving it for use to fill a Dot Day. I did have a look for it shortly prior to our Level 4 lockdown back in March but didn't find it at the time as the place was busy and I felt very exposed hunting for it so gave up after a short search.

Today however I had more time, and a quieter neighbourhood, and aided by a hint from a previous finder I was able to make short work of the find today.

Thanks for setting this puzzle up. My plans for this year have all been turned upside down (as I'm sure have everyone's) but hopefully we'll all get through this and set ourselves even loftier sights for the future.

Found with an extra pair of eyes I brought along specially (Yeetrees'). Although I found it without him. Found it immediately as really only place it could be. I reverted to such drastic action as this one was becoming my nemesis.
Thank you for imitating my Taranaki geocache. That's a nice honour. (Though mine is a 20L bucket, rather than a micro Big Grin)

#11,835. Second team to find. Yes, a big thank you to our “local” cachers, not only in Palmerston North and Manawatu, but throughout the Manawatu-W(h)anganui region too. Great tributes to the 11 geocachers (teams) featured in the puzzle.

Final GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. Sneaky hide. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Thanks for the puzzle and placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

We took what might be our last chance to geocache for a while to visit this cache today. As we expected the nearby play area was closed and there was no one about.
We had visited yesterday but it turns out we just didn't persist quite enough for the find then. We were entirely on the right track - should have trusted ourselves a bit more, although it is a very exposed site where you don't want to linger too long.We had location confirmation from the CO and the find was straightforward this time - quite cunningly concealed. Actually it was our muggle nephew, who is staying with us at the moment, that actually made the find, much to his delight.
The puzzle was an interesting one and thanks for doing us the honour of including us in it haydn.seek. Smile It will have to get a fav! TFTC

It took a wee while to work out the theme of this puzzle, but after that it was reasonably straightforward, apart from that hidden away "plus 2". Finding the cache took a wee while in the dark, but perseverance at the obvious feature eventually paid off, although for us, the cache was 11 metres southwest of our calculated coordinates. FTF with markhnz at 9.15 p.m. TFTC
