While going through my finds list for a challenge cache I noticed that this Great Premier League series had been archived. I’d been working through the series slowly when i was in the area.
But today urgency was required to finish the series.
As the previous finder noted, there were cheetos in the cache which were removed to sign the log.
Log signed and replaced.
Thanks for the series The Famous Geo5 and RedGeoDevil

I was alerted to the fact that this series had been archived and I still had four more trads and the final to go before I completed the series. With reading the archived logs I thought I may still have a chance to finish the series if I was quick. Today I had a quick appointment in Geelong so afterwards it was time to give them all a shot.
I knew AusFox; was also in the same boat and I knew he finished work just after my appointment finished so invited him along as well.
For me it was a very successful trip grabbing all the caches needed including the final.
I am not sure what has been put in some of these caches as the have some sort of oily residue that when mixed with water makes the log books and all the content like a ball of snot.
Thank you The Famous Geo5 and RedGeoDevil for the whole series

I want to thank everyone who found the Geocaching Premier League series over the last year, it's been a great experience for me and I've learnt a great deal over this time. Unfortunately I'm pulling the plug on the whole series now due to the recent issues regarding a large amount of the cache containers in the series, I don't have the time to keep up with that level of maintenance. I will be out to collect what remains of the series in the coming weeks.
Nice quiet area this am - good hiding spot. Recovered it well as could see it on arrival to GZ.

Disabled till I can get up there with a replacement, should be back up and running soon though

A quick find on our way back into G-Town - the recent rain has meant that this cache is full of water and unsignable. Thanks to The Famous Geo5 and RedGeoDevil, I got the clue but this one will need to be replaced soon.

Parking nearby and a top clue meant the newly promoted Leeds United were no match for my hunting skills.

Cache found a bit too easily - it was in the open and that colour doesn't help it! Green would hide it a bit better. Clue noted.
Well that didn't take long...
Hi Everyone, Again
After another month or two in Lockdown we've made some big progress in the last 2 weeks. As Regional Victoria's rolling 14 Day average is now bellow 5 tonight we will be moving to the 3rd step in our Roadmap out of Lockdown.
We are now allowed to go out without any restrictions regarding the reasons to leave home meaning as promised my Geocaches will be back up and running from then on forward
Please don't forget to be wearing your mask when you can and definitely sanitising from Cache to Cache... The last thing we want now is a 3rd Wave after all our great efforts so keep in mind the restrictions that are still in place at all times
I will be out on the Bike over this coming week to check on the conditions of all the Caches but as always if there are any issues please let me know
I look forward to getting back out there to enjoy the hobby we all love
Thanks Again

Lockdown is giving me the chance to give my Cache Pages a little updating. Nothing has changed to the clue or physical cache it's self but has changed names as we wish Norwich farewell after there disappointing 20th Place finish in the Premier League 2019/20 Season resulting in relegation. We welcome 2019/20 Impressive Championship Champions, Leeds United to a new season in the Premier League therefore this Cache is now called: THE GEOCACHING PREMIER LEAGUE - #14 LEEDS UNITED. Congrats Leeds and best of Luck
Hi All, Starting on a positive note I've really enjoyed the experience over the last 6 Months of being a young Cache Owner, the complements and patience has been greatly appreciated
Though Seems like I'm back in the same place again ready to disable my Geocaches surrounding the restrictions of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. We go again as Regional Victoria to help stop the spread of the disease by heading into Stage 3 Lockdown rules on Wednesday Midnight. Unfortunately that means **No Geocaching** for the time being so as a responsible CO in this day and age I've come to the decision to disable all my caches the sooner the better. Never an easy decision but hopefully will be doing my part to slow the spread . Fingers crossed that the series is back up and running ASAP .
***Any Found It Logs will be deleted during this time***
Thanks Everyone and stay safe

Took a seat and made the find discretely
Thanks The Famous Geo5 for the placement.

A quick trip to Torquay today, gave us the opportunity to breathe in the fresh sea air, admire the views and find three of the Rankin Family caches, including Isabelle's.
What we found here was avery bold placement - no camo and not hidden in any way!
Our thanks to 'The Famous Geo5' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

What a super sunny day to be out and about to collect a few caches. My target was to find more in the Geocaching Premier League series in the area to the south of the river. My phone was suffering from indecision here and kept moving from one place to another. Finally had me at the correct place. Very cheeky TFTC The Famous Geo5 and RedGeoDevil
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Quick easy find on a cold morning! No muggles about.

suscoe and the ageing Bushfire decided to venture out into the community today as it was a beautiful autumn day and find a few caches while observing the current distance rules so we were in separate vehicles and had lots of hand sanitizers on hand to use after every find which seems strange.
We found our first two caches in this series a long time ago it seems but in reality it was only about two monthe ago.
I enjoyed visiting all these different parks and reserves today some of which I have been in before and others it was the first time.
This is a bold hide and amazing that no muggle has spotted it, well done.
Gathered the required numbers as we went and thanks for all your effort in placing these caches.

What a delightful May afternoon to head our for a bit of geocaching with our good mate Bushfire.
We wandered around these caches in convoy with the Red Ant following us closely behind.
We had our hand sanitiser on board which kept our hands sparkling clean.
We remembered to gather the clues for the final as well.
This was a pleasant way to see a few parks and sports ground around the Geelong area.

Hi All,
Thanks for your fantastic understanding for my decision over the last couple of months, it was a very tricky decision but looking back on it now it was a very important decision.
As of 12/05/2020 11:59 PM Victoria's Premier, Daniel Andrew's choice to reduce the restrictions across Victoria became active. The 5 New reasons to go out any where other than home include
• Shop for food and other necessary goods and services
• Access medical services or provide caregiving
• Attend work or education where you can’t do those things from home
• Exercise and participate in some **recreational activities** adhering to the rules
• Visit friends, family and loved ones while adhering to the rules
Following these new guidelines I've made the decision to re-enable my Geocaches just like the publishing of new Geocaches in Victoria have renewed as Geocaching is a form of Recreational Activity. The Message to stay home unless you have to go out is still the same but I understand for many Cacher's like myself find geocaching a way to get outside, a way to get away from the inside and even to get out in the form of exercise of Bike Riding, Running or Walking
If you are going to make the decision to find any of my caches please remember that the rules of social distancing (1.5M apart), not caching in groups outside over the number of 10 and to continue wise hygiene (cleaning hands before and after touching a cache is highly recommended) still apply.
The choice stands for now however at any stage I may have to review this decision on how things are going
Stay safe and Stay Well

**Hi Geelong’s Geocaching Community, **
Thanks for all the Geocachers that have contributed to the finds in The Geocaching Premier League Series, I’ve enjoyed reading all your logs and hope to read many more in the distant future.
I’ve currently been in discussion with RedGeoDevil and the rest of The Famous Geo5 over the current situation regarding COVID-19 and what we can do to play our part over the coming weeks. Despite our series having been published now for just under a week we have come to a clear conclusion following the guidelines from Australian Government, Department of Health that we should stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary to go out and unfortunately Geocaching is definitely the opposite. Therefore, just like the English Premier League, till further notice all my Geocaches in this series will be disabled to protect the health and well-being of Geelong’s Citizens. I will continue to monitor the situation day by day and do my best to keep the community up to date with what is going on. I Hope you will all understand my decision and it certainly wasn’t an easy one. Fingers crossed that the series is back up and running ASAP .
**Any *Found It Logs* will be deleted during this time**
Thanks Everyone and stay safe

This cache blended in well and had survived a recent mow in the area. Kids decided to stick with the theme and head off for a kick of soccer nearby with an amazing view across the bay. TFTC
