Today I was in Port Sorrel for Parkrun. Once that was over for another week I went and found a few caches. I unfortunately had another 3 dnf and only found a few.But still I am sure the walk did me good. Such a lovely spot on the planet, summers must be lovely here. This one had me scratching my head for a while but eventually spotted a likely place and then had cache in hand. TFTC
Wow, this was my first and only took me 2 days to find it! I was also fighting against the tide! If you make it to Hawley you have gone to far!
Back in Devonport for a few weeks, looking after grandchildren. A great opportunity to go on adventure each day.Staying nearby for a few days and may have this harder than it could have been but we got there in the end. Thanks Spreyton22 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Yay! Those 2 Darstedly / Evil DNF's back in the past are now both Yellow Smiley's This one still gave me grief even with the spoiler pic, but most of all it was found after about 10 minutes and the logbook was signed at 16:03 on 22/4/24.All is good and dry within the cache and it was re-hidden as found. ### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Spreyton22 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia
2nd attempt, hurrah, so good to find this one. It was a scramble and I found it exposed. So put it back, as I found it. Hope that was OK.
found it the cashe was undone and thrown but me and my grandson fixed it and put it back
TFTF . Didn't sign the log as we weren't really planning on caching and didn't bring a pen!
Couldnt find it unfortunately. The place is a bit of a jungle so you do have to be careful.
A tough find but eventually got it just before we were gonna move on. Love the beachTFTC!
Now this was a tough find but coordinates are bang on and the cache was safely signed and replacedAccess from the beach is a must, as well as some clambering over rocks
3rd DNF in a row for me to start my day lol
Of all the one's i know i will never find this one is it.
The area is like the Amazon jungle with a GPS that bounces more than jelly on springs in an earthquake so i think i'll just let this one go.
..... maybe
I will keep an eye on future logs.
TFT Challenge anyways, Spreyton22.
It is a ripper hide that's for sure

Another one I couldn’t find today but that only means I will have to revisit them another day and why wouldn’t you want to come back here for a walk.

I've replaced this cache, it appears that the bank has washed away where it was.
I'll get a container like the original soon. Currently a small 3-4 cm screw top.

Not to be today. A dnf from us (2 sets of eyes hunting) after an extensive search.
Just as we were about to give up it finally showed itself. Not an easy find but eventually...
Found with lumpyplumpy, had to get the shoes wet for this one. Paper is wet tho
Took a little bit of scrabbling around at GZ, but in the end we Glyndebourne the end of the end of Freers beach cache

This one took ages to find! Although, had the conditions been different we might have found it quicker? Nice hide, TFTC!

Out caching with family on a beautiful afternoon. We'd tried this one once before without success so came back to give it another go. Today it was found fairly quickly. TFTC
Cant believe I didnt see this last time i attempted this cache. Must have had cache blindness. Tftc
Wasn’t holding much hope of finding this one after two DNFs. Got to three metres from GZ and spotted it straight away.

DNF #2 in a row. Checked the ground for this one as a previous log hinted to... no luck here today unfortunately.

On an evening stroll and decided to hunt my first one. Took me a little but I got there. WooBear!!
Thank you, first find in a few years as haven’t been geocaching in a number of years. Good to get the kids back into it. Thank you!
Spending the day geocaching in the North and North West collecting as many yet to be found caches along the ways practical.
After our last few caches being dnf we were happy to get a yellow smiley again. We had to search and circle though it wasn’t obvious at first and then we spotted it and couldn’t believe we had not spotted it sooner. TFTC

Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a nice autumn day and found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Port Sorell, Squeaking Point, Shearwater and Hawley area and this was one that was targetted. An absolutely glorious day to be out caching. A nice stop to have a morning tea break which we certainly needed after taking a long time to find the well hidden cache. TFTC
Found this cache finally after a high and low search clear as day but hard to find ..haha nice one ...Tftc
cacing with Westies Tillie, Archir and Mac. Thanks for placing this cache for them., took a lot of searching
So to continue our day of caching it was back on the bikes and back along the lovely bikeway/pathway towards Hawley once again. A little surprised to find where this one was stashed, but it works surprisingly well. Good one Stephen.
Hi Spreyton22....this hide had me going in circles. The gpsr was adamant about one area but couldn't locate the cache.
Went back to the car....about to dnf when...bugger it...its got to be there...so back down...eyes taking in a wider search where I'd been before when I almost burst out laughing....OMG...how did I NOT see this the first time.
Talk about hidden in plain sight.
This was definitely the hide of the day...many tftc...a fav...cheers ST.

Thanks for the cache. Apologies for the generic cache. Spent four days 'up north; with Lil Rafa and the GeoGSP. Today was day 3, another sunny day, a great day for caching. Today we backtracked a bit, went around in a bit of a circle, followed a few different tracks along rivers and beaches, and visited a nature reserve.
