Needing a Multi today for a personal challenge we headed off to this park to try our luck as well as get some post surgery exercise.
We got to 80m from GZ and the track was blocked to all for regeneration purposes.
We did not want to pass the barrier so are logging a DNF.
We think this one could do with some attention from the CO to save any team getting in trouble.
Thanks for the placement and information on the cache page.

On my way to get the cache, but the path was closed due to renovation have to come back another day when the park is open old. Are you know now? Hello all revegetation room.
Checked today. Still here after deluge after deluge. Replaced new log and pencil. Do the best to snap lock.
Path along lake still open. Short path to cache from the west although blocked for “ revegetation” still accessible as it is still a path. - stay on path.

As expected this cache has had a beating with the rain and creek rising Will have to check at some time and change log as soaked !!

Bike riding today and after some lunch at the cafe we decided to grab these traditionals. At GZ all was quiet as we commenced the search. Looked around some obvious spots and nothing presented itself. after about 10 mins I widen the search area and then something stood out. Then the prize. Log book although in 3 plastic bags was still wet, but did manage to sign. all back safe as found.
Quit a tricky cammo that had me fooled at first as it blends in well.
Thanks.

The maintenance of this cache has always been a challenge close to the creek. The snap lock container seems to still not be waterproof. Try to seal as well as possible- I’ve now triple bagged the log. Still in play. Thanks for the favs.
Having dragged son and husband out on a nice afternoon, I then was cruel and evil and made them come looking for this geocache with me. I found cache with no trouble, love the camouflage! TFTC!
This one could have had me looking for a very long time. Luckily a little hint in the logs helped and the hide revealed itself to me. Thank you jupiterpearl for placing and maintaining JELLS PARK REJUVENATION for us to find today. A fave point for your efforts.

It seemed like it had been ages since we had been out caching so we decided to head over to Jells Park to enjoy the last breath of summer. It was fairly busy however it was great to see so many people out and about.
A quick find. There was some water in the cache (which I emptied) however the log is dry due to it being double bagged. TNLN. TFTC.

I reckon we found it but unfortunately the tub has been taken, we saw something “fake” but nothing inside.
After a dnf a long time ago I returned here tonight to rectify! This time my phone pointed towards a different Sara and the cache was soon in hand. I've never seen camo like that before, quite brilliant really! Tftc, great fun!
A last moment trip to town after a period of non travel. Given the day we tried to get a minimum of two of a number of cache types. A nice walk around the lake and some good hides which took a little to find but we did. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
With the new year upon us (and a public holiday to be appropriately made use of), buhfuhguh and I made an impromptu trip to kick off a year of caching in an area ranging all the way from Scoresby to Officer.
There were plenty of finds with lots of walking to accompany them, though plenty of fun was had as always, notwithstanding the fact that I foolishly didn't apply sunscreen and ended up with a less-than-pleasant sunburn afterwards!
I initially headed around the back of the tree thinking that'd be the logical spot for a cache, but upon a reading of the hint I realised that I should be looking elsewhere.
Luckily, that's precisely where buhfuhguh was looking and he had the container in hand in no time at all.
Some excellent camouflage here - can't say I've seen anything like this used before!
Thanks to jupiterpearl for placing this creative hide!

Another day out and about with Brainiac03 today as we go out for a very impromptu and sporadic day out caching with no real plan or guide to tell us where we are going. Just picking caches that we're nearby or interesting to keep up going. With roughly 24 found including a couple fun multis we were happy with today's work with no DNF's. A nice cool day after some swelters all in all had fun, Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

Enjoying our time up in Melbourne we've had plenty of caches to find over our stay. We'd been enjoying the walk around Jells Park today. Geo-Mum spotted the cache among the clever Camo and we soon had the log book in hand to sign. TFTC
Out with BoabTree, we had a fun day caching in the Jells Park area, doing some multis and finishing the KDNP series. Great hide, and the hint helped locate it. A favourite point. Thanks jupiterpearl
This was a tricky hide. The camo blends in surprising well. We got lucky and just touched the right thing. Great spot for a cache.
Nice easy find. Camp did stand out like a sore thumb. If attempting after a rainy night where solid footwear!
Papi and I are finally catching up on our logging. Apologies for the time it has taken. Thank you for placing this cache for us to find.
GT and I are trying to catch up on our logging and apologise for how long it has taken. Thanks for the cache.

Just got home and was relaxing after a early morning drive with my daughter for her learner hrs, when Rebel gave me a buzz and informed me he was in the area visiting his mum and had time for a few caches.
Couldn't say no for some caching fun after lockdown and not seeing him for ages.
After searching with no luck , Rebel soon spotted the prize.

It had been some months since I had seen My Mum, she lives in Metro and I live in regional. finally the regional/metro border had been scrapped and I could head to metro to see her, while in the area I caught up with My good caching Mate Omegaman1971 to grab a few caches. It seemed ironic all the metro people headed to regional and I headed to Metro.
This is one of the caches We found today. took a little bit of looking before I finally spotted this one, the vine growing here soon covers everything.
Thanks jupiterpearl for the cache.

If at first you don’t see it .. try again .. I have become very familiar with this path during lockdown and was astounded with the muggles that would just appear out of nowhere.. today it had been raining and I was pleased to see only a couple of cars in the carpark .. surely a good sign.. I discovered the cache this time .. I am sure I had looked there .. maybe not.. thanks jupiterpearl for the creative hide
Quick find on a sunny arvo, in between a million or so muggles!
Great hide!
Tftc cheers

Spotted something off very quickly and was able to locate the cache! An awesome hide and great camo, thank you for bringing me to this location and for the information about the area, it’s a beautiful park and I’ve throughly enjoyed my walk so far! TFTC
The great thing about this area is one thing, no dogs allowed so you don’t have the dog walking muggles around. And also it was very wet and muddy track today which gave me the absolute solitude to find this beautifully hidden treasure.
Left one of my painted rocks.

up and running again - COVID safe caching - watch for muggles that appear suddenly - lots of regrowth seen since placing
Yeh this one has either been muggled or has been washed away by the creek rise - 18 -20 mm rain last night. Haven’t seen the creek this high today. ( got wet feet)
I’ll give this one a rest for a short time. Will have to remake the cache . Thanks for all the favourites. You can mark it so you get an alert when back up running.

I can’t check this one at the moment. Out of my 5km radius
It is a sneaky hide. So could still be there.

Out on a nature walk with Gunks. Found a few around the lake and spotted a few creatures. TFTC
Find #4856. Found @ 15:23 with skirrel
I decided to get out and about to stretch my legs and find a cache (or four). It would seem that a truckload of others had the leg stretch idea as Jells Park was teaming with the muggle throngs. I asked skirrel the geocachelette to come along and to my surprise she agreed.
Another one that skirrel found by spotting something that didn't quite gel and finding the camouflage. I freely admit that I'd looked there but not seen.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache jupiterpearl

Out and about with grandkids and daughter getting exercise. So many other people here as well, playing ball, exercising, walking their dogs. Been a long time since we have been to this park before. Really enjoyed our walk around the lake - are highlight was the birdlife on the island. Such a wonderful sight. The kids loved your hide here, they spotted straight away, they are really getting better at this game. Thanks for bringing us here. jupiterpearl.

This is one very creative hide was not notice for several minutes while the area was searched. An excellent example of hidden in plane sight.
2nd found this morning on a meander around the lake.

Somehow this one turned out to be a quick find, nicely camouflaged! A satisfying end to our around the lake trail. TFTC
Number three of three around the lake for me today, and the best camo I've seen. Having looked everywhere else, I was about to give up when I noticed something not quite natural.
This was my favourite of the series. When my 5 year old nephew said he found it I didn't believe him. Fabulous, unexpected camo. Great job.
Found very quickly by mum, happy mother's day. Thanks for the hide, haven't seen this creative way of hiding a cache before.
This is a great park for bikes, and as we are attempting 3 multis at once, and detouring for a couple of trads, it certainly makes it easier for us.
As I scavenged around the area, poking and prodding, Steve casually points out the cache. Nicely camouflaged.
Thank you jupiterpearl for this cache.

Found quickly with geokids. New log still in good condition. Great hide - thanks!
I headed to Jells Park for a walk and to do some caching. This was my second cache of the day. As I approached GZ my eyes were on one area. However, I was lucky enough to quickly spot something else that looked, well, cache-like! A really well hidden cache in a tucked away part of the park. TFTC jupiterpearl.
Assuming that it's the giant tree that is mentioned in the hint. The giant tree is near enough to the coordinates but there is nowhere to hide a cash at the actual coordinates in the middle of the footpath. There is a divot cut out of the back of the tree where it looks like a squarish container could have sat with camouflage stuck to it. But that is vacant. Hard to tell if I just ran out of time to search or if it is actually absent from the dMz
Checked today with a bike ride to Jells.
Is damp. Have changed the container - third time lucky. Please observe how it is closed - it is definitely more watertight. New log and pencil in double plastic bag. Watch out for muggles.

Found this before I knew it was unavailable. I love the camo here, going passed it before I came back and saw it a second time. Yes the log book is wet but I was able to sign it.
Thanks jupiterpearl

OK, this is a bit tragic, but I now have a bunch of draft logs that are up to two months old. My plans of writing entertaining and informative tales for each one, illustrated with terrific photos, have become a bit ambitious. I will embellish where I can, and come back to some later, but will have to make do with generic logs for now.
Of course, this is not to disregard the appreciation I have for those who have placed and maintain each of these caches. I love youse all. TFTC

After passing through the enclosed area a check of the map (and time) showed that a little back-tracking was required. Thankfully this worked for us and took alternate routes back around the lake. This one (unlike the previous cache attempt - and repeated attempt afterwards...) proved to be an easy find. The cache and hide were replaced so as to be as little less visible and a travelbug dropped off - TFTC!
Very nicely hidden! Just a note it has rained and the container is wet, as is the pen and pencil. Log book is fine though!
We arrived at GZ and hunted around for ages.
When we finally spotted it, we couldn't understand how we'd missed it.
A bold hide with a rare camo technique. Definitely a favourite point from us.
Thanks jupiterpearl for coaxing us back to this beautiful park. We really enjoyed the stroll.

Out for a walk and a few chores and this cache was in my target.
Took me a little bit to spot this camouflaged container but I got there eventually.
Muggles galore at GZ, got stuck with the cache in my hands and had to go for a walk to wait them out.
**Thanks for placing this cache jupiterpearl**

On a jog round the Jells Park area in the late afternoon of a warm humid day.
Enjoyed the birds as I went round the lake.
Dripping a bit by the time I reached this one.
Not the nicest smelling cache area this time, unfortunately.
Hunted round a bit before I spotted something and there was the cache.
Very nicely camouflaged here. Thanks for the cache.

About to leave here empty handed before Geokid spotted it. Second in a row to him. Good lad.
Amazing camo that had me fooled.
Have been meaning for ages to ride around here on the bikes.

Nearly missed it even though I commented on something looking out of place. Geohubby then went and looked at said out of place item and just shook his head at me and said “you call yourself a cachet”. Yep I had been looking and commenting on it and not investigating further. Lucky I had him with me. TFTC
I found this cache today on my Jells Park Plus morning to stretch the legs. An embarrassing amount of time looking for this one, then there it is. Glad that I didn't give up. Our 14th find in Jells Park with the first way back in 2004. Thanks from D B-A
Checked today - This area can get very wet as the creek floods. The previous container needed to be screwed on tight - I am trying a new container - be sure to seal properly. New logbook as the previous one needs drying out.
TFTC. We were visiting our daughter , who lives close by. I(Hans) decided to head to Jells park to attempt a cache or two. This was the first port of call. Searched about then stood back and spotted something that we did not expect. bingo. Emptied the container of water. logbook completely saturated. Managed to write our name in the book. These write anywhere pens are great. Great Hide.
Foind with my daughter on an afternoon walk around the lake. Camo was not what I was expecting! Good one. Thanks for the cache.
Found it, a visit to Jells Park for a family picnic, the first time back here for quite a few years, it hasn't changed and is still as nice and relaxing as it has always been. Lots of small gatherings going on with Covid rules a little more relaxed than a short while ago. So while here we had to look for at least one cache, we chose this one as it was in a lovely area of the park. TFTC
Dropped of a travel bug that has been with me for too long due to covid.

Hmm didn’t manage to spot this one. Had a pretty good look with two people. Oh well, maybe next time. Cheers. Lovely spot to have a poke around

Find #4470
Traditional Find #2795**
I headed out with Steve on our first caching run since before the lockdown. Jells Park was our destination as it was just inside my 25km radius. This was the first of three caches we targeted in a loop around a lake. It didn't take too long to find and then we joined a throng of walkers and headed to the next cache.
**Thank-you to jupiterpearl for placing this geocache**
