Logs
Found this cache lying on the ground in the open. Put into location that fits the hint. Its now also covered by bark.Mustve been scattered after logging and it looks like a fires come through here recently.Logbook signed 12:03 Saturday, 2nd November. Cache number 275, TFTC!
No luck for us, but didn't spend too much time given the logging that has been going on around area. Kia ora for the cache.
Well Ken knew a good way to get here, must remember not to follow Ken, such an easy way to walk out lol TFTC
Found with ZEALOG on a caching adventure signed sealed and returned to its hide hole
Found with kozjah. Be sure to see COs note about the change. Found it quickly enough after getting the correct tree. I wonder how big this fire was.
No luck for us here today. We checked the largest and the two nearby no so large, but all seemed to have been agfected by the November forest fire. Cache may still be there, but a CO check could be in order.

We did indeed head to the beach. Before finding the cache we wandered down to the beach for a picnic lunch.
About time we had a look for some Coastal Crawl caches. We didn't pick a good time after so much rain last month as there was a lot of water still laying around which forced us to find an alternative route to GZ and hence doubled the terrain rating! We managed to keep our feet dry though TFTC.
#21464. We were amazed about how much water was still sitting around after a record breaking month of rain in July. Pretty much all of the grass in the park was underwater, and we had to go a bit cross country to skirt the lake. The cache was high and dry and lying at the base of the tree, so it was a quick find. Left it better covered. TFTC.
The cache was lying on the ground, nearly knocked myself out on a low branch so be careful if approaching from the left! My puppy picked it up while I was nursing my head but was able to retrieve it and rehide all good. Lovely beach.
Friend was looking for a good solid 3-4 mins, I look for 2 seconds and it’s in my hand so close to 200 finds now
Was just about to give up when I spotted it. Not an easy find. Thanks for replacing, warfi.

Our GPSr was bouncing around a bit under the trees, but eventually decided it had to be the largest one. From a bit of a way off, looking down at its base, we managed to spot a glimmer of white. And there it was! Well hidden. TFTC!
Possibly missing. 4 Dnf's in recent months. Had a good poke around but nothing found.
Its always interesting coming down here to see how the plants have grown since to Mega CITO down here and trying to work out just where the ones I planted are. Wandered over and searched the wrong tree before a quick find at the right one. TFTC # 17,496
In the area for orienteering & this was very close to one of the control sites as I discovered when out for a walk to make the find. TFTC
Coming to this cache from another nearby one, we went cross country instead of using the nice easy track, but got there eventually and the cache was then a quick easy find. TFTC
The third for us at the Beach area today although we were heading for caches rather than the beach. SoBad headed straight for this one so an instant find. It was also the third which we found the previous logger was a fellow Nelson cacher. We get everywhere!!
Thanks.
Thanks.
On a drive to Christchurch today. I stopped for a few caches along the way. Last cache for me today. Hint had me a bit confused. I was searching the wrong spot for a while before I looked a bit further and search the right spot. TFTC, Biggles.
Have had this on the radar for a while but previously have had other priorities when nearby. Quick find today and returned with camo as was in the open .
Thanks
Thanks
Lovely sunny day for a stroll- except for the bitterly cold wind. Nice a safe and dry here. tftc
To cold for beach, but warm when you talking with a friend. Nice easy walk along the track. Thanks for placing these so I can fill in my dot days

Needed to get out & find some caches, so took wee miss 4 on a wonder to see if we could grab these 2 relatively local ones.
Luckily both nice & easy, and luckily miss 4 is starting to become a fantastic cache-searcher!! I give her the general area, and the hint, and bam she often finds it straight away - obviously her eyes are at the right height or something haha!! Plus it's probably easier for her to be bending down & over looking than it is for 7 months pregnant me haha!
TFTC!!

Great timing - I arrived for the CITO with time to spare for exactly two caches! TFTC!!
Thanks for this cache, corunnaroad.
I wandered over here with a couple of other cachers after the nearby CITO - on an unbelievably warm winter/spring day!

TFTC. A lovely winters day which was perfect for the nearby CITO and then wander to the cache.
Cache was a quick find after today’s CITO event. Thanks for the cache

Found on way home from a month long trip around the South island. Enjoying the caches
A quick find thanks to accurate co ords. Hmmm this is the fifth cache this morning where the previous finder has not signed the log

Headed along that track for the short distance and climbed the hillock looked around and there it was!!! Another neat little hide. Future cachers might watch where they put their feet, it seems that dogs like that tree as well. Thank you.
Nice quick find on a lovely day out. This was just out in the open so I placed it where I thought it should be. A rodent has chued on the camo but all good. TFTH
Parked up at Pegasus and walked to Woodend and back. This cache took a while to locate but we got there in the end. TFTC.
I needed to find 5 caches today to bring my total finds for the 23rd February up to 26 and thus into a deeper shade of green in GC's Statistic Daily Finds Calendar..
Cyclocached my way to within 30m of GZ and then finished the journey on foot. Didn't find the cache at the first big tree I searched, but there it was at the 2nd. [^] That's 2/5ths of my mission now done. Next stop Pegasus Beach. TFTC

How embarrassing. Spent some time hunting high and low and then plucked up courage and made another phone call. While one was on the phone the other one found it. So easy. Thanks for the help
The GPS took us to a certain Tree and we found lots of good hidey holes..But sadly no Cache..
We even widened our search but no luck here for us today...

Lots of new publications late afternoon but I couldn't head out until later in the evening. After a 2TF at one in Sumner I figured I may as well give these new coastal ones a crack.
A nice wee drive out and parked up nearby - had the place to myself...just a few bunnies skipping around & a bit of drizzle. Don't recall seeing this beach entrance before, looks to be 'developing'......soon enough at GZ and making the find and sign. Watch out bunnies - walking back again! Cheers.
