Back to Port Sorell today to hopefully find the last of the caches here as we try to get to 25k by the end of November. Its a futile quest but if you dont try it has zero chance. We had a lovely day walking the reserves with splendid weather and a tasty picnic lunch. We should have had our picnic here great spot. TFTC
Almost gave up because we were searching the wrong spot! TFTC - Sam and Tim
Another trip over before the rain comes.
Was using the hint to start with until reading previous notes by CO.
The hint needs changing as a tree hanger now.
Many tftc Spreyton22....thoroughly enjoyed....cheers ST.

All set, as noted in the previous note, the cache is all in place, shoulder height, stand next to the eastern side of the tree trunk.
We give up! The hint said in the bushes and others said something magnetic? Too confusing good luck to everyone else
I can confirm this is not a magnetic hide, but a small tree hide, clearly visible at shoulder height.
I have checked this and can confirm it is on place and that you can stand right night to the cache, with no bush bashing required.
More like did not look. Here’s a tip for the local cachers in this area. If you don’t want the greenery destroyed DONT hide caches in the bushes. End of rant.
DNF'ing this one today. Had a quick look but wasn't prepared to bash bushes to try and find it
Kids on the beach weren't paying any attention to us which was good. Gave us a chance to search. TFTC
Found this one on a little trip through the area. Nice to get this one off my list. Never had a pen with me, I have a photo to prove though. TFTC
Nice quick magnetic find! After a little time in the water decided it was time to grab the cache thanks for the find
After realising I was being watched from the house across the street I took to using the phone camera and reaching around whilst sitting there. So not such a quick find but a find all the same.
Gps wouldnt settle but it was quite obvious where the cache was going to be, had to wait for muggles and on the last place i looked there was the cache. Tftc
After a long walk up towards the tip of the cape i just didn't have it in me beyond the "Tea Tree" hide as time was getting on a bit, i was in shorts and a tee and the temperature dropped about 6oC in about 10 minutes as it often does in Tassie so i just canned the idea of getting to the popular hide called: Lieu-Pine-Ner.
Spewin' coz i wanted that... oh well, another time maybe.
This one was a more comfortable grab now that i am back and warmer in the GeoMobile.
After the nano was found in the 1st place i spied (gotta love that) i SL at 15:26 on Tuesday 16 November 2021.
All is dry within the cache

It's probably there but we gave up. The local wildlife have webfeet. We've now got we fingers. Maybe tomorrow.
TFTC Had to think about this one and check activity. Lovely to sit and had a rest.
We had our picnic lunch here today and found the aptly named cache whilst there. TFTC!

Spending the day geocaching in the North and North West collecting as many yet to be found caches along the ways practical.
After nice stroll along beach soon honed I on this gz. Found immediately which we were happy about given our previous bad luck on a few caches. TFTC

With Easter off from work, it was a good opportunity to try and close the gap on my target for the year. 500 finds for the year is the target, and this run brought me up to 230 odd, so only 3 months in I am on track for this target.
The highlight (and hardest part of this day) was the walk out to the cache Lieu-Pine-Ner at Point Sorell. The walk was challenging due to the number of rocks being very uneven. I was hoping 2 hours, but in the end it took 3 hours. Geo Kid O was still going strong at the end, but it had taxed me.
Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it.
Finally found this cache. I had a DNF on it before. It was a really Wet day, and I didnt get low enough to find this one

Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a nice autumn day and found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Port Sorell, Squeaking Point, Shearwater and Hawley area and this was one that was targetted. An absolutely glorious day to be out caching. TFTC
A second day of caching in the area whilst camping in the now quiet caravan park. We were pretty sure where this one was going to be, given the type of container etc. but the gps was a bit wobbly, so we looked at other prospects close by. We were about to give up but I had one last look an there was the little bugger staring me in the face (literally) Log in neat condition with room to sign. TFTC Spreyton22.
Found it.. good spot then enjoyed a light lunch enjoying the view then onto the next one.. Tftc
Couldn’t find this one. Lots of places a micro could be and I wasn’t sure whether to look up or down
It’s great to turn a blue face into a smiley one. After reading the log of a fellow cacher who found this yesterday after I missed it I decided to come back this morning and have another go. As they said there is a logical place. My GPS was still all over the place and had me searching some distance from here. Having done a few others in the series also helped. TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Apologies for the generic cache. Spent four days 'up north; with Lil Rafa and the GeoGSP. Today was day 3, another sunny day, a great day for caching. Today we backtracked a bit, went around in a bit of a circle, followed a few different tracks along rivers and beaches, and visited a nature reserve.
Thanks for the cache Spreyton22.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I have spent a couple of days in the area, and as it was such a beautiful sunny day today, we headed out for a walk to find some caches. We have stayed nearby only just over a year ago, and there were hardly any caches in the area. Since then, it appears the caches have bred like rabbits! They are everywhere - which makes a trip to the area very attractive. My phone had me all over the place here, there was an obvious place to look, and it took RLD4963's keen eyes to spot it.

Another day geocaching up north. The sun is out and the wind is dropping so our plans for today will be some low tide caches and then do the walk to the point to find Lieu-Pine-Ner and the caches in between.
Got back from our big walk and decided to collect any caches that we pass on the way back to our accommodation. Not the nicest of places to search and I was so glad when male membsec said he found it!

A couple of days off from work and it seemed like a reasonable forecast, so I thought some time in the north west would be good with three aims. One get a break from work, two get a few puzzles that I need to claim a challenge cache in Hobart and finally get a few caches to get the wonders of the World Series done.
The drive up on Thursday was an indication of things to come. Regular showers and very cold. This continued right through the two days. At the end of each day my trousers, shows and socks where Completely saturated.
A few DNFs were had, mainly due to not wanting to search in the current shower more than anything else. Just over 100 finds for the two days, more on the first day less On the second.
Tftc.
No luck finding this one this day

O. N. N..A. B. N. (Oh no not a bl..dy nano.) How I hate them but this one i must admit was found quickly. Thank you for placing it and bringing my attention to the beaches in the area.
With today being my last day in tassie for a few months I set off to pluck up a few new caches in the north west before setting sail.
After coming here the other day and having no luck the CO confirmed that it was still here and with a handy hint I was able to find it nicely hidden today.
