This cache has gone missing again.
I am not replacing it again.

Cache was last found on the ground and finder placed it in the nearest tree a few weeks ago. 3 of us looking in a few of the closest trees couldn’t find the container. We could have returned as needed as we have the necessary equipment. Can CO pls check this one.

After having a good look and not spotting the cache, we saw after reading the last log this was no longer in the tree and had been llacer elsewhere. After a thorough search of the trees in the area, we were unable to find the cache.

Unfortunately a DNF today.

Cache appears to be missing. Wasn’t replaced as intended by last finder and is missing.

So I often go caching with no prior planning, so I don't plan which caches I go for or even read past logs or descriptions. I just go looking for the closest cache when I have the time. My phone took me to a place which was just grass and nothing but some nearby trees which I figured that's where it was. So walked to the closest tree and found the cache on the ground. I then read the description and found out the cache is supposed to be up in the tree. Great for me because I have a huge fear of heights so I can sign and log this as a find, but there's no way in the world I'm climbing the tree.
So I put the cache in the low branches of the closest tree. Hopefully it will be safe there until someone can replace it to where it's supposed to go.

A late afternoon meet up with Kestal to top up the calendar. Spotted this gleaming in brightly in the setting sun. Retrieved no problems but took a couple of attempts to replace. Job done and one of the neighbours across the 'creek' called out, curious as to what we were doing as he had seen similar goings on before. So we wandered over to explain geocaching. TFTC Triciac2

A meet up with Eskies5 to turn this one to a smiley face was planned as a rare occasion of our calendars was matching had occurred. With a delicate extraction the log was signed. The hide was returned and just before heading back to the car we heard a neighbor call out to us . After doing our best to explain we were on our way. TFTC Tricia2

I found this other nearby tree fishing cache. This was a little bit more difficult than the previous one and the wind was an extra factor here. A FP for the fun!

Found on a very cool Winter day for a drive around with Di Morgan at Toowoomba. Wink
A few good safe hides and lots of muggles around today.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Another tricky one with the position of the sun today, but logged fairly quick.
Thanks for the cache Triciac2,

Caching in Toowoomba today with Roostaman.
We spent an interesting afternoon visiting many park areas. Fortunately for us Roostaman had his extendable fishing pole with him or we would not have been able to reach many with our 5m ladder.
This was the first we have done like this & found the experience quite amusing at times.
FP given. Not having done these type with a pole before the D/T rating seems to vary compared to using a ladder. Even though I think a pole is harder.
Thanks for placing this cache Triciac2

Out of reach today

Re the previous log, that’s a false log If you can’t retrieve it then it’s NOT a find.

T-Tech and I stayed in Toowoomba last night, and this afternoon we are heading up to Crows Nest to catch up with some fellow geocachers. But of course I have a selection of geocachers to find along the way!

I brought my fishing pole on this trip to show another geocacher how to use it, and hadn't actually looked at the other caches in this area, but as we arrived here I was very glad we had it! T-Tech did the hard yards for the grab. The almost midday sun made it difficult! TFTC, Triciac2.

Woah! That’s a high one.
Very happy to get a bit more use from our tree-fishing gadget.
It worked a treat.
Having spent the morning mowing, we were just taking a seat to have a rest and a cool drink when we had a look at the phone and saw this new cache notice. Hmmm. Stay sitting or take a drive up the hill? We chose wisely. Soon had the cache in hand.

Thanks for the challenge of getting this one Triciac2
