Logs
Out with Buz21b this morning. Found with the lid open so have signed and replaced everything as it should be. TFTC!
Luck was on our side. Short search after going down and up again. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Now, how would you find your way here? Good location, good hide, worth a favourite. Found with Goldberry17 who did actually find it. TFTC

Went down to avenge a DNF today and was surprised how quickly I found this. The nearby dog certainly alerted everyone that I was there. Signed the log and I was off. TFTC

Spent a day up around the Newcastle suburbs today. A beautiful sunny day to be caching. Today was a particularly frustrating day though with five DNFs to report as the GPS was refusing to settle at most caches - here being no exception.
Taking note of the given T-rating here, there was only one thing to do once the GPS got me to GZish; so in I went. A big huntsman in there but he was further up than what the GPS was saying. Looks like it goes up a long way in there. Anyway long story short it wasn't until I looked at the CO profile/ a few logs that I expanded the search somewhat before my electric eye eventually spotted the chewed container where our names now reside just after team737 and the deadlyduo. Re-hidden as found. TFTC, judas_crypt.

Cute area but watch out for spiders as area was a little overgrown when getting down but after a bit of searching we found it, we signed the log & added a good luck sticker tftf

I was put off by the description a bit like GeoIan, but today despite a few DNFs we had a look, not expecting much, expecting more to log a DNF/NM. We spotted a likely GZ, and went in, I started checking a few spots, and was looking at some of the masses of air plants when Samuel spotted it. The log is fine, the container less so.... TFTC!

Wow! We were expecting to just add to the list of DNF’s, and it was looking like that for the first few minutes, we got our gloves on and ventured in, then trudged around for a few minutes.
Dad went lower down but I stuck to believing it wouldn’t be too far down and then I spotted a logbook peeking out, the found the container and lid about 30cm away… Logbook was surprisingly dry, but the container has been chewed by rodents.
Hid the container back in what looks like the likely spot, though it will need some maintenance to stay OK.
TFTC.

Lid is deteriorating and container had been chewed by rodents. Logbook is in ok shape, but won’t be for much longer in this condition…
I knew this was going to be a tough cache to find today and after 20 minutes I was right. Lots of possible places and so much grass cover it’s was hard to see. I shall be back though
Always seem to look ove this one,m put off by the description maybe. Well today it was on the radar, getting few and far between in this area. It was a lot easier than i expected. Found GZ, made my way to the bottom, and with a search down there, spotted a typical, went to it, and TaDah!. TFTC.
Sneaky trip to Newcastle and staying with friends out here.
On arrival I have to admit I wasn’t keen to jump in, With the recent DNFs. But read some hints, followed an obvious path and first geosenses were right !!
Found with Billy91 and 2 muggle friends following along. TFTC.

And a nice simple one to find to finish the days caching. All day to find 4 caches - but lots of fun.

Third time lucky, found in a place I'd already looked... obviously not close enough. TFTC
On my second attempt to find this cache it appears that someone has pruned their tree, and placed the branches where it seems GZ is. Could CO please check on this

I parked at the edgeworth tavern and walked back to find this cache, Of course going to the wrong side of the creek first , Then I had trouble at GZ as my gps kept sending me to a different location and back again , so I just kept checking both spots and eventually made the find. Thanks for the cache judas_crypt tnln replaced as found sl

Old mate on his ride on mower wanted to know what I was up to, I'll be back another day
Had to wait for a pigeon to move away from right beside the cache to retrieve and sign log. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the fun find. We went to the wrong side of the creek. We have had a break from chaching this was a fun one to get back into it. Thanksgiving the adventure.
Found with TobySign on an afternoon walk. Being international geocaching day this weekend, we needed a cache for the souvenir. This being the closest we went for a walk while catching some Pokémon. This time in the light it was a very quick find in a spot I’m sure I looked in on my DNF night. Then on our way home we grabbed our own placed cache, which was blocked because of this cache being too close.
Thanks for the walk and cache!
Thanks for the walk and cache!
Find No: 8154. Needed one today for my 366 day matrix, Mrs Grub Fred and I parked at Edgeworth Tavern and as per usual I chose the wrong side of the creek, worked our way to the other side and found the little beast after some bush-bashing, thanks for the cache judas_crypt!!
Took a minute to find GZ, our GPS wasn't working too well here. We found it in the end, it's in good condition. TFTC!

Found it. After working at the Wetlands this morning decided to come past this one to try and get a 'FTF". My 2nd one.TFTC judas _crypt.
Even though I didn't get the FTF, it was still pretty nice to go and get a new cache anyway. Nice spot for a cache, and it did take a bit of a search to find it. TFTC!!! #1731
Brought the geokids to come to help with this one today and amazingly had it in moments. Spotted by my 8 year old. What a little legend. There’s a lot of places it could be hiding but one suspects with a bit of traffic this will get easier each time. Mozzie free today too which was a bonus. TNLN TFTC
Looks like I am not the first to try. I didn’t have persistence or luck on my side. 20 minutes a long enough.
