We were unable to find this Cache, maybe a child found it as it is in an open area
Today we are spending the night in this beautiful park.In the afternoon I explored part of the park and found a few caches. TFTC
#503 The carpark was surprisingly quiet for a beautiful day. An easy P&G (plaque and grab). TFTH
Found with the help of the kids. Had to wait a while to be discreet with how busy it is on a saturday
Auckland University is in week 4 of semester 2 which means more writing and study, less walking and caching! However assignments were boring me and the weather isn’t *that* bad, so it’s time for some caching! I picked Ambury Regional park because there were a few caches around! I am armed w 3 pens (as I like to loose them), and a friend! It’s time to get muddy and grab some more smilies!
Thank you to all COs for placing and maintaining caches!

Petite balade aujourd'hui au Sud d'Auckland. J'en profite pour chercher quelques GC aux environs. Celle ci sera trouvée dans son trou.
3903ème cache trouvée.
Merci G-2 pour la cache
Little walk today in South Auckland. I take this opportunity to look for a few GCs in the area. This one will be found in its hole.

Needed to get out of the house, so loaded the bike on the back of the car and headed out for a few hours. Enjoyed my ride and getting some fresh air. Thanks G-2 for placing these caches, and sorry for the generic logs
Visiting from Ohio, USA and spent the afternoon geobiking around Auckland. Quick find here and nobody around.
My plan today was to visit Ambury Regional Park this afternoon and take an extended walk around the western end of the park. After finding "framed in the park" and an adventure lab way point near there, it was time to head back to my waiting auto. However, not before I check this ground zero and replace the hide if need be (I had asked the CO earlier in the day if it was alright to do this). At GZ I did no better than the previous 3 DNFs so have replaced the container with a film can, hidden as per the clear hint. Cheers for all the exercise and the hides today!
It seems that this cache could be missing. We found a very thin deep hole at GZ but no cache.
Had a good hunt around and wasn’t able to locate the cache, it seems it may not be here (possibly taken?), will come back another time

Moving quickly through the park, mindful of the poor dogs locked in the van. As I strolled towards GZ, I was pleased to note that there were no muggled nearby and even the ones further afield were busy enjoying their day out so I was able to sit almost on top of GZ and remove and replace the cache discreetly. Yes! First one this year. A walk around the Farm animals with grandaughters so had to collect one cache.

AliGle and I decided to head out to Ambury Regional Park this afternoon for a bit of an explore and to clear some of the geocaches out here. Despite a downpour of rain on our way out here, the rest of the day was fine and made for a pleasant afternoon's caching. They were shearing sheep in the shed here today, but thankfully we were able to sit discreetly beside the cache and retrieve it. TFTC!
Last day of the school holidays and a visit to a regional park that always feels just too far in Aucklands traffic but it was pleasantly smooth on the motorway today. Hooray! First cache for our walk today. Tftc!
We've been meaning to visit this area for quite some time, so finally we're here to enjoy a walk in the sunshine.
This was our first stop and managed a muggle free find, although we had to wait for a couple to move on before we returned it.
Thanks for putting this here

Lovely nearly spring day! First time here since taking up geocaching. No pen on me for this impromptu find. Thanks for the cache
Doing the Lab cache trail and caching along the way
Lovely day out enjoying the sunshine. TFTC

A great time exploring the regional park. Had never been here before, and a perfect time to explore after just having been to the event. Nearly missed this one as it was so well hidden. Tftc
Up in Auckland geocaching for the day and we had a great time at the International Geocaching Day event at Ambury Park - thanks Gorby. Following that we walked around the park completing the ALC, earthcache and some of the traditionals, then went over to Mangere Mountain to pick up some caches there. Now I have to catch up on all the logging after a very energetic and fun day! This one was pretty straightforward, TFTC
Buzzybb & I here for a Auckland geocachers event. This was our first cache here. It was well hidden in the obvious place. Tftc
Was up for the nearby event so did a bit of caching as well. Able to sit and grab the cache. Nice quick find. Thank you for the placement.
We came out to Ambury park this afternoon to enjoy a walk in the brisk cool breeze - at least there was no hint of rain. Our first stop was at this tribute to Bruce Jesson. Thanks.
It was sitting out quite open, so I tucked it back in a little bit better.
Thanks for another! Great day to be out here!

A nice quick find here for our first cache of the day. Putting it back took a bit longer as a wee boy decided to play in the garden right by the cache and his dad was watching him. once they moved away again, the cache was replaced and we were off on our walk around the foreshore.
In the area today, hoping to miss the masses that would most likely frequent here during the weekends, getting some me time out of the house, still under self Covid-19 lockdown given we have a vulnerable child that would make life very interesting should one of us catch this lurgy.....
It has been some time since I was last here....actually it would have been prior to geocaching.....
TFTC.

After so many DNF's today a walk by and grab. Ahhh. Feels good for the tortured soul.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up in Auckland visiting with family … decided to visit some of our old haunts & do some of the walks in the area … Ambury Farm has always been a great place to visit … we thought it would be rude not to check out these caches … found with no issues, log completed & returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,568 for us.
Upon walking into this park for just my 2nd time ever, I quickly recall visiting here during lambing season and being able to feed the cute, wee things. However, today was a different story as lambs and sheep were nowhere to be seen! Although, we did see quite a diverse range of other animals ranging from cows to horses, to rabbits, to birds and even rats - EEEK! Arrived at GZ and happily made a quick find here, while lumin watched on and signed myself in before replacing as found. TFTC G-2!
A very special day for me today as I got to finally meet lumin298 after messaging her for many weeks, and go on a caching trip around the Mangere Esplanade and what soon turned into Ambury Regional Park! Had a lot of fun along the way and even managed 2 FTF's :O - All I can say is, right place at the right time! Picked up well over 20 caches over the course of 6 hours or so, including an interesting earthcache and an ad lab! Thanks very much to all the CO's out there who put out some cool finds for us

Out this way with my mate Larphs. Our first for the day. A nice quick find to start. Tftc
Had to be sneaky getting this one as a family (dressed in PJs and dressing gowns) were on their way to see the rabbit in Thomas the Tank Engine. They were too excited to worry about what we were doing.
Grabbed this one while I was doing the Adventure Lab Cache here. This is a bold placement. I've been here on school trips when they have heaps of children hanging out at this exact spot. I guess they aren't very observant, hahaha. Thanks!
At this point my fone charge went from something to nothing but luckily I now have a charger to carry with me. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Today we did a little cruising around Mangere. And there was coolness and even a wee bit of rain. Not too much!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

This was well camoed, blended in so well!
With the great hint, I was soon retrieving the cache from its hiding place.
A busy place this evening, lots of families enjoying a perfect day.
Thanks G-2 for the hide

A day out with Keylev to stretch the legs. Nice windy day!
I found this earlier in the morning but muggles about. Returned with keylev and you know.... she just did it as a seasoned cacher would do. TFTC.

Out for a little walk with B4Dawn for the first time in aaaages! Extremely windy out here today but lucky for us no rain.
A few muggles around but that didn't put us off. We sat down and unnoticed I reached across and soon had it in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

was completed while wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, and complying with the restrictions of lockdown - therefore the logbook is not touched & signed.

This was last before I headed home. Omg spotted the really cool rabbit hutches while I was grabbing the cache. Bonus. Love rabbits. Pity my daughter grew up and left home she would love this place. Lol. Cache is all good here. Tftc
It’s been a few years since I last visited this park. It was good to be back, a real gem. I enjoyed going for a walk for a few hours before my flight home. TFTC
Had a good chat with one of the park rangers who also does geocaching! First time coming across someone else who does it. TFTC
this was the first cache of the day, and in the sheep shearing shed they are shearing sheep! ahh (eww?) the smell of lanolin
