TFTC
Nice easy find on my way back from a dog with a non-geocaching friend. She is still rolling her eyes. TFTC
TFTC Robj73 quick find sign and also added a new log around the old as it was full .
With dot558 after leaving Mt Gambier where we spent a week at a motorhome rally, stopped to do some caches in this areaThanks for the smikePs log is full
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are on the move from Warrnambool to Millicent, grabbing a few finds as we go. Thanks for placing this cache. LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Moving from Warrnambool to Millicent today and picking up some finds along the route. . Pretty miserable day but it keeps the muggles off the road. Log sheet getting full. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
On a road trip for the day with son and his friend. They sussed out their next camping spot. So while in the area, I grabbed this cache and did the necessary signing.TFTC
A quick and easy find with ample road side parking, loving the fact that it was long enough for my big interstate semi truck that I drive. I am super glad to have picked this one up so easily. Thank you to the CO for the placement of this cache. It was amazing to pick this up along my working week.
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and slowly catching up on all my logging. This was a very long full-on day as we crossed the border from SA and had a lot of LGA's to tick off on our to-do list before eventually making our way across the states. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them. Our logs were signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets ??
Heading now across country collecting LGA's as we head across now to Canberra to the next Mega.Caching with and signing as the group 'Q6' and having a great trip.TFTCache robj73
We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this cache as it ticks off another LGA for this state. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 15th March, 2024. TFTC, robj73.
TFTC smile 18940 out and about on a lovely day having a great time finding a few caches heading to Mt Gambier for a few days on our way to Canberra today signing as 5 for Qld Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda , what a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun Thank you robj73 for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Suscoe was heading to Nelson today and it ended up pretty close to 40 degrees which made the trip a bit uncomfortable. We found a range of caches even though it was so hot.Sunshine, blue skies and a northerly wind. Thanks to robj73 for this hide.
7 March 2024 14:54 TFTC robj73 for placing this cache, number 13763 for me. For the record, the area looks nothing like Dartmoor UK!I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
#14,479. Infoferret and I flew over last week to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega event. After a fun week near Adelaide we are making our way south towards Melbourne now. Today the mission is to pick up adlabs, virtuals and earthcaches as well as some challenges on the way to Geelong. But first we wanted to do a few traditionals in each of the counties along the way. This was one of them. We searched all around for a while and finally I spotted this one. IF has been red hot all trip at locating caches so it was good to contribute a few finds along the way. Signed the log and returned the cache as found. Thanks robj73 for hiding it here.
*Filser1* and I thought of a hilly landscape in the English county of Devon. But then we remembered that we were caching in Australia. We soon discovered the cache.T4TC
One our way TEMBO! and I visited the cache "Welcome to Dartmoor". We welcomed Dartmoor and signed the logbook. Thanks to robj73 for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
A easy park n grab as we called into town to check out the wooden carvings, a quick find for us todayTFTC robj73
Found in the first spot I checked out on a walk with the Geohusband this morning. We stayed at the community camp ground here in Dartmoor last night, splendid friendly town. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 15:20. After cache maintenance at Penshurst, we came here for the Ad Lab, and there is always time for one more, so here we are. Spotted it quickly. Our thanks to robj73.
A quick drive by as we head to Mount Gambier for an annual square dance weekend TFT+
Spontaneous Spring Victorian Roadtrip
Day Two: Millicent to Ballarat
Weather: fantastic.
My first cache in Victoria for this trip. I was lured out to Mingbool in South Australia by a letterbox cache, and then Google Maps planned an interesting route for me back to the highway without returning to Mount Gambier. Quiet roads, but sadly no caches, for safety I guess, not much of a shoulder.
This took a while - I’ve not seen this model of cache before.
Thanks for the hide robj73.
It’s officially a mega.

Thanks robj73 for placing for all to enjoy.
I thought we had "done" Dartmoor, now there are more caches and the one near the tennis courts has gone... Anyway two states in a day and keeps our streak going - TFTC.
Was looking for a magnetic cache….nope it’s not one of them. Once I got that thought out of my mind I found it with ease. TFTC
A well designed entrance sign and a worthy place to hide a cache.
Thanks robj73 for the placement.

Visited Dartmoor on our roadtrip from Halls Gap to Robe. Nice little town with beautifull woodart. We did the adventure lab, virtual and offcourse this cache. Made a nice pic as well. Easy find by daughter Hippie03. TFTC
On a camping road trip to the Grampians, Mt Gambier and surrounding areas. We are now camping at Fort O'Hare Camping Ground in Dartmoor. Today it was quite hot so we didn't venture too far exploring more of the local area and picking up a couple of caches. This one was the first for the afternoon and after a bit of a search it was Mrs Pooky who spotted the well placed cache. TFTC.

first victorian cache of the holiday. quick find.,
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Finally with winter seeming to be in retreat, we were lucky enough to have a couple of days caching in south western Victoria. Yes we did feel welcome in Dartmoor, we were actually on the way out of town here.
Thanks to robj73 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

The weather hasn’t improved today, it’s hard to believe it’s mid December and I’m still wearing a jumper and beanie!
After spending the night at Digby it was time to head for Millicent.
A quick find on this cold, windy December morning.

We stopped on the way to do caching where it was suitable to pull over with a caravan on.
Tonight we have stopped at the sports ground.
Thanks for placing your cache.
