Out and about in Deakin today, it was a good opportunity to find some caches. The curtain shops have definitely changed since I delivered mail here back in the early 2000s but I do remember the area of GZ. Found down low, tried to look inconspicuous. Tftc
Nearing the end of a circuit around the area this afternoon, this one popped up on the radar. While I concentrated on a certain group of items, my PiC looked slightly elsewhere and for the second time today, he was the one who spotted the stash at 17:00.TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. A lovely find here at curtain shopping centre.Many years ago, this was our local shopping centre and it was nice to visit the area again. The historical society looked like it was shut today but there was still a few interesting pictures on their windows. Thanks The Farmers 5Domsky

Caching around Canberra for a while longer. TFTC. Looked for this one once before when it was busy. Still took a while this time for a fairly easy hide.
I was collecting the AdLab in Curtin and needed to use the bathroom when I saw that this cache was almost right next to them. Well, what is one to do but grab it on the way? The cache is in good condition. Thanks for placing it here.
Whilst wandering around the shops we spied a little traditional hiding away here. Well of course we had to locate it, and so we did!

Found during the Mega event in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Logs were signed ABP to save time and space on the logsheets.It was a productive day, focusing mainly on caches of interest, with a variety of cache types.The weather was fine and quite warm, in contrast to some of the other times Ive been in Canberra over Easter.Thanks The Farmers 5 for the cache.
Found while attending the Mega event in Canberra over Easter.The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. We find them, sign them and replace them.This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. Found with Lananotgreen on an after work adventure. Rain meant not too many muggles around. Quick find and all back in place. TFTC
One thing to note when trying to find this cache is dont trust the GPS! Also you might need a tool to get the log out, tweezers would be ideal but I managed with just a key today.Thanks for the cache!
I was out for an afternoon's caching with Goldenwattle, Binliner and Decrypter. We were in the area and stopped nearby for a coffee/tea break. But before imbibing we tried for this one. We arrived at GZ and started our search. At first we looked in all the wrong places, but eventually we spotted the hide. Log signed with initials and all replaced and we headed for the break. TFTC.
Here with Decrypter, Trodectus and Binliner. After we had searched the wrong objects...where could it be , Trodectus turned around and...spotted the cache. Not hard when you look in the right place. Cache and log were good. TFTC The Farmers 5.

Having dinner nearby so swung by quickly to search for this one. Thankfully it didn’t take too long to locate this sneaky hide and I had the required TOTT for extracting the log. TFTC!

Another week, so another Monday morning caching adventure. Today, I was joined by Barb2e and Isopeda . We all agreed to follow a very different direction and type of cache from our previous trips . We targeted suburban caches that mostly had high D ratings. There is no way that I could have had a successful day without Isopeda today, who was definitely the star performer using her TOTT for most of the finds.

I literally can't believe I didn't see that before. I'll blame it on coordinates leading me to the other side. TFTC Farmers 5!
Found mostly using the activity help TFTH, TFTC unfortunately the bottom half of cache is gone so needs maintanence but thanks anyway.

Found. On dark. It is forced into its hidey hole so we’re unable to sign the log.
Sat down yesterday wondering if there was a cache nearby, surprisingly I was within 10 metres! Unfortunately the muggle concentration was too high so I vowed to return this morning. Here I am and here's the cache! Somehow the cap had come unscrewed but I reassembled after signing. Hot tip: a baby in a pram is an excellent excuse to move around in silly ways, including bending and stretching. I recommend getting yourself one the next time you go caching

Found after about 15 minutes searching. Coords seemed a bit out which didn't help.
Found and signed dsd or darksidedan or Adventure Boys or AB to save space in the log. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Nice hiding spot didn't have a pen on me so I couldn't sign the log book but I will come back with one
Sneaky hide and bouncing coords did not help much. Hint from previous finder helped.
