The not so little turmoils wanted to hang out at the Morayfield shops so I dumped them and then headed out along Caboolture River Rd for the AL and all the caches up to Rocksberg. I really enjoyed the scenery and found some awesome picnic areas along the way. Some were complete with access to the Caboolture River which will be a hit for us in the warmer months. This was the last one for today. Glad I got some caching in before the rain that is meant to wash us all away.
Saturday. Out on a maintenance run.Following a non-logged message regarding its missing-ness, we were passing so thought we would stop in. This cache had gone walkies (why and who comes to mind...).Anyway, we have now replaced it with a camoed bison attached to the wire next to the fencepost near ground level. Hopefully that will keep it secure.Ready to go. Go, go, go!
You just have to love a south east Queensland winter, whilst the mornings can be cool the days are often bright and pleasing and a trip out into the nearby country side to hint caches is a lovely way to spend a morning.
After finding an appropriate spot to park the geowagon, I walked over to collect the prize. It was soon found, log extracted and signature added before returning safely for the next cacher to find.
Very pleased to be able to turn this cache into a yellow smilie and off of search of my next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

What a spectacular accumulation of fencing material has gone in to create this! The clue helped us to quickly locate the cache. Kind Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Really enjoyed travelling down this little road. Brings back memories of my childhood in the country. Cache was quickly found. All good. TFTC

We found this cache on a lovely drive around the country roads in the area. Parked close to GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and replaced as found. All good here. Thanks Slow Puncture for this one.
Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Two Of Us on 2/9/2022, 10:05 am. This is my find 4079 and find # 1 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found with 90% Angel who is visiting from BC Canada until the end of this month. This was a quick find. TFTC.
A few weeks back we collected some of the Agatha Christie series before weather stopped us. Today is the day to collect the rest.
Cache 1 for the day.
Okay, not a part of the series, but around the corner from Cliff5009 (geo-dad) from which we are starting our hunt today.
Cache is in good condition, and dry.
Now has my squiggle in it too!
Thanks for cache!

Recent flooding had overtopped the cache location and carried the container to strange new unknown places. New container in place and ready to go.
Full time nomads since 2014.
Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots and floods
In Morayfield today while the getting Geo-Crusier serviced..
Unable to located this one today. Loooking at the height of the water that went thru here and the debris higher up.
Pretty sure it may have been washed away.

Ye gods - who would have thought a copper like me would end up with a woman like Sybil!
It’s a busy little road here with a couple of people passing by while we were stopped. Thanks for the cache
While in the area I took a little detour down this road and found the cache.
All was good.
After last nights rain the nearby creek was flowing very nicely.

Beautiful day for caching. Pitt I need to work.
Interesting places work brings me, council clearing logs jammed under nearby bridge. Mind you, horse flies out here are big enough to carry a person away, huge things
Easy find once I worked out the map

I had picked the Caboolture River Road area for my caching target for the day. It is a 1 hour drive from home to get here so I had worked out a plan based on the AL series and a number of caches along the way. This cache was on the list.
I made the search harder than it should have been by negotiating across the cattle grid a few times.

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while caching in the area Thanks for the cache
Since moving up to QLD from Melbourne, I have found many caches in far flung areas, but this is only 670 metres from my home, so thought I had better grab it
I was embarking on the local AL when I came across this cache. Great place for a cache. Signed the log and off we went for some more history. Tftc
We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today we ventured out to the AC trail, a lot of research was involved to work out the puzzles.
We left the camp in overcast conditions started with a couple on the railtrail before starting AC.
Its been a number of years since we done the previous caches that were placed refering to the Beatles.
Thankyou Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.

Logged and Found as WallabyTim/KaleidoscopeCass or WallabyWanderers. Backing this up with our old account, Apologies if you receive multiple logs
Long grass indeed but an interesting spot to stop at. We wondered when this fence was originally built and who called this area home once upon a time. The 'Two Of Us' WallabyWanderers plus Zelda the WoofyWanderer say thank you for the cache -)

Today after work I decided to stay in the area and designate the rest of the day for caching. I saw that their was a new AL series nearby so I decided to get started on that and grab any other caches as I travelled to complete that. My morning started in Morayfield and I made my way through Upper Caboolture and ended up in Rocksberg. I've never ventured out this way before, so it was great to come to a new place and enjoy the scenery.
An easy find here, but had to be wary of a couple of cars that went past, the road is very narrow here.

SO WEIRD!!!! Last time wombles and I were here we searched every inch of that fence. Definitely in that spot. But no cache to be found.
Returning today wombles had the container in hand before I had even started looking.
Ah well, glad to turn my DNF frown upside down.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture

A nice quick find here today, which is weird as it definitely wasn't there last time we were here!
This narrow back road has a lot of traffic for the amount of houses on it!

I'd been out clocking up driving hours with the youngest geodaughter to day and also collecting smilies at a few caches. On our way home we had time for ""just one more" and so navigated our way to gz. A quick find and sign and then home to make tea. Tftc Slow Puncture
On my way back from the city to visit this cache. It was just one of me. Quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Slow Puncture. All good with this cache
No luck for wombles and I today
We searched and searched but too tricky for us. We will be back another time!

Finally able to catch up on logging caches found earlier in the year. Today, I was out and about with IolantheK for a terrific day of caching fun
We had no difficulty in locating this cache, and with our names added to the log book, we replaced the cache as found and continued on our way.
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out and about today for the first time in several weeks. It feels great! And the company of Just a Trifle made it all the better We took a jaunt down Old Gympie Rd getting to know the cast of Hamilton.
Love the drive out here. I was singing a different tune, The Two of Us by Jackie Trent and Tony Hatch. A quick find at GZ. TFTC, Slow Puncture.

Having been hardly caching recently, due to the current health crisis, I needed a short break from being cooped up, and decided on a solo drive out in the country to rejuvenate my mental health.
This area seems familiar, I recall a multi that used to start here, which I managed to solve from the comfort of my couch.
A quick find here today, using appropriate hand hygiene technique

1/4/20 Find #3551
Well it was Wacky Wednesday today but a Wacky Wednesday with difference due to the current climate. I headed out alone today to grab one solo cache to fill in my Trad calendar, which also luckily means I will have a find for this month on the first day, with no idea how the rest of the month will currently pan out.
So as just the one of us, I parked on this lonely road, used the hand sanitiser, and climbed out to begin my search.
It did take me a little longer than it should have, I will admit, but soon enough the cache appeared and I made my mark. Then I was off back home to while away the last of the hours of my day off.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture.

After having coffee with our daughter in Landsborough this morning, we headed down this way along some lovely country lanes with dark clouds looming over head. Parked up just as it started spotting with rain but soon had the cache in hand and the log signed and returned as found just as the heavens opened. A quick dash back to the car before getting too wet. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
TTF and was good to meet Waz and Vic who got here just before me. FTF's are difficult to get in Australia. A nice quick find.
Thanks!!

This is homeland for us. Back from New Zealand, we hadn't start caching yet again - due to family member in hospital.
Whilst waiting @ home to take him to his Doctor appointment, we jumped into our car.
Little bit searching, voilà!
