Easy ta fin, checked tha hint aftr-not what we be lookin for! Maybe check with yer local botanist. Log were a touch damp as well.
Out and about with tassietan to get enough caches for the latest souvenir. It is indeed a nice view and a lovely path.'Coordinates are spot on but the tree isn't a gum tree which confused us for a bit. The cache container was a bit challenging to extract, but all was good in the end. Thanks for the cache ShannonPC.
RoadieM and I are out geocaching on the banks of the Derwent River today. Indeed this was another beautiful riverside walk and view. We noted that many of the houses around seem to have their curtains closed so they aren't taking advantage of the beautiful River Derwent vista. We made our way to GZ, noting that the tree description was a little misleading. Took a bit to extract the cache but with a bit of teamwork got there in the end. Thanks ShannonPC for bringing us to another beautiful spot.
This certainly is a nice walk with a nice view. The cache took a little bit longer to find as it should have, as I took notice of the hint! Which is wrong - the tree is a she-oak. TFTC
Took the geodog for a stroll and found the cache quickly. Emptied the water out and placed upside down to keep it dry. Tftc
VK7HCH and I were going to go into the Risdon Brook Dam area and find some caches, but today was very windy and the park was closed. We decided on finding a couple of caches up the river and that continued all the way to Tongatabu Rd. We even got out the electric powered cache mobiles. We then turned our attention to the Highway series along Elderslie Rd, picking up Camel Views along the way.In all, I found 16 caches and had a couple of DNFs while HCH found a few more before we parted ways for the day. Thanks for all the finds today.
Found back on 1st August and being in the area again just realised I hadn't logged it. It does look like a nice walk. I'd lock the car and keep everything out of sight though. Working around here at the moment, certainly interesting.
Nicely hidden but log damp but writable, didn't have a plastic bag. Also it's a sheoak tree not gum TFTC
We skipped the walk today and the view was on the heavy clouds coming in with the rain. Really nice spot, and it’s absolutely worth the walk, however in this weather I was very grateful for where you placed the cache.
Cache was very exposed and log book was outside, but surprisingly dry! Did cover it all up a little more!
TFTC!

I used to work 50 meters from here! Always wanted to do this walk and today I did. TFTC !
Today we decided to head to New Norfolk and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
A great series, we enjoyed the walk along the path finding caches in different hides. We found all the caches which was great! Cache and contents were in excellent condition.
Thanks Diadem and TaurusSix for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

On such a nice day i was on an East Derwent Shores caching grab on my way up toward New Norfolk, so this one was next in line
Parked the GeoMobile in a convenient car park and wandered down to the hide.
A quick find and sign at 11:47 on Monday 26 April 2021.
The cache and contents are in great shape.

Good hide. Sad to see cache was empty apart from the log left by Andrex. Left a crocodile.
This walk is really wonderful, with lots of panoramic views and changing terrain and scenery all the time. Cache was just where the co-ordinates landed us.

Absolutely beautiful view but yes beware of the syringe dont let the kids get this one. No loot was there but now there is take a pen too
As we were running ahead of time to meet up with Old Saint we called at this cache and after looking at the wrong big tree we moved to the corerct one, goose warned me about the area and to watch where I put my hands, after finding the cache I found a used neddle and syringe the other side of the tree.
Just a quick few caches for our Saturday and then a short trip North to Pontville to do a Lab with Old Saint
Found on 11/07/2020 at 12:11:00 PM thanks to ShannonPC for placing this cache for me to find.

We were on our way to Brighton to meet OldSaint and figured we had some spare time so detoured slightly to find this cache. We were searching at the wrong tree to start with. I reminded stainless steel rat to be careful where he put his hands as we poked around.
With no luck he went one way and I went the other. I spotted the container and we were soon signing the logbook. My warning was justified as he spotted a syringe and needle just next to the tree.
**PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HANDS**
thanks ShannonPC

I have never been down through Bridgewater before so today seemed like a good one, parked at the end and made the short walk to GZ were good cords lead to a quick find
Today I decided to head down to Hobart for the day and collect some targeted DT caches and some others in amongst them for the day, apart from the 30mins of rain the day was quite pleasant for caching.
All up 49 finds and 10 adventure finds.
Thanks for the cache

I often walk this track but only noticed the other day that there was a cache here. Almost exactly 4 km from my starting point the cache was in clear view. After I logged my find I hid it behind instead of on top. TFTC
Lovely quiet path along the river. Never would’ve come here if it wasn’t for a cache. Cache in good order brand-new logbook. TFTC
Ok, a day to start getting out and finding a few caches. Mapped out a circuit within the 30 km radius that I could go and grab a few, well 6 exactly.
Attached is a photo how found. The container was in good condition, but nothing was left in the container and it was open. Put my name on the back of the geocaching sticker, as I had no paper.
This cache will need some maintenance

a nice day cool in the morning but sunny afternoon so i went for a walk to get away from these four wall covid 19 blues, TFTC TNLN log dry just when you think that you got away with a signing and replacing the cache, you turn around only to find a walker right on the path just meters away from you, replacing that last bit of camo was just too much. Thanks to all the cachers that give there time to the hobby thanks to you we have a hobby sport etc.
Out and about with friends from Qld who are returning to Qld earlier than expected. Great day to be out. Yes it was a nice, TFTC.
Another one of many on our travels through Tassie, which is getting more and more difficult as everything closes down as a result of Covid-19
Memsec to the rescue , who generously offered to show us some of what Tas geocaching has to offer for a second day [^]
So off we went in the vague direction of Hamilton for some beauty and caching [^]
Nice easy find, cache is dry and in good condition [^]

T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Coronavirus has cut short our holiday, and so we are staying in Hobart for three days before attempting to get back to Brisbane. Today we are taking a jaunt towards Hamilton with membsec, picking up a few very specific caches.
A quick find once in the right spot. TFTC, ShannonPC.

It was pleasant on the banks of the river in the late afternoon sun. When we didn't find the cache at GZ, we gradually widened our search area, looking in locations consistent with the hint. We finally found the cache 11m to the northwest of the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks ShannonPC for the hide.
We left cache fully covered. What’s happened, no idea! On this track, we’re walking with our dog ,Yoshi, almost every day. From now on , we will keep eye on this cache.
Hi ShannonPC that makes three finds on your caches today on an overcast but pleasant afternoon. Parked pretty close to this one but it still was a lovely wander looking over the Derwent and up towards the Bridgewater Bridge. At GZ it was a reasonably easy find nicely hidden once I narrowed down the gum. A few ants on the tree but none on the cache thanks again you have certainly taken off with your hides in the last month and I am loving it.
Hello ShannonPC thank you for the cahce
After driving around for a while I eventually found a spot to park the car where I thought I could leave it and where it night still be when I come back.

Today, on our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to travel to Swansea for lunch and to collect a few caches on the way and after. In total we travelled over 400 km and this was one of the caches we found. After leaving Swansea we diverted into Dolphin Sands and then through to the Midland Highway via the Lake Leake Road and then we headed South. As this cache was still showing as unfound we decided to check it out but can only claim second to find. We have found other caches in this area. It was certainly a beautiful walk and great view. TFTC
