Mirani staying at the caravan parkA day out caching with The Snakepitter, our trip today was up to Eungella Dam area, this was a good trip around the countryside. We found ound a few caches here , before caching our way home. Some amazing scenic views over the valley from various locations. Thanks Rainforest Cookie for hiding this cache.
Driving over the range today , glorious scenery. Up in the clouds early was very cool and a bit misty. On the downhill run over the other side the sun came out and revealed quite a different landscape. Cattle grazing country a lot drier. All caches in excellent condition.Another memorable day in the region TFTC
It was a bit of a mixed bag today, while out caching with goingplaces2. Some things were good (finding caches) and some not good (very prickly vegetation). Thanks go to each CO for putting the caches into play.
We had a good caching run today with ilook4geo and found plenty of caches to keep the numbers ticking along. The area out of Eungella is spectacular and the long and very winding road was fun to drive. Most of the caches were not too hard to find, but the ones we did not enjoy were the ones placed in very spiky plants that attached themslves to clothes and skin. A lot of blood was lost at some of these hides. Thanks for cache hide go to Rainforest Cookie.
A cache that was much closer to the road than my GPS wanted to make me believe. Easy find once trusting the hint and instinct. We are on the road over the Easter holiday. Along the way we are hoping to spot some platypus and of course that the Easter Bunny brings us a couple of caches. It certainly did for this one, so thanks Rainforest Cookie for creating the Small sized 1.5/2.0 Geocache Buggy Bend.
found this one earlier in day it was full of water and unsignable i carefully seperated as many pages of the log i could put them on towel on dash and drove around finding caches and they dried out perfectly i signed log at12.10.pm the plastic container is r/s.very brittle i taped it with electrical tape as best i could after putting log sheets in cliplock bag and in container, needs a bit of tlc. tftc
We have returned to Eungella NP after 12 years.
We want to see the changes, refresh memories and get some smilies.

Easy parking. Waited for a few camping muggles to drive past and then a quick retrieval. TFTC
On the way down to Mackay with BlackPearl26 to pick up some finds for the Reach the Peak souvenir.
Another quick one. The container has lost a couple of tabs but the log book was all good.
Thanks Rainforest Cookie for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

We're out for a drive visiting old familiar places and new locations too. A quick easy find although I had to pretend to take photos while several 4WD muggle vehicles went past first.
Thanks for find #2129

Got this one while on the way to the community event. What a beautiful drive and location around Finch Hatton and Eungella. Our thanks to Rainforest Cookie for placing this cache and enhancing our enjoyment of the area.
After spending more time than planned at Rainforest Cookie's community event
decided to have a look at a few more of the new caches out this way,
grabbed this one after a visit to the wall and on our way out
No worries here
thanks for the caches and the event

After attending the great Community Celebration Event, Liz & Bruce and Wazza9 drove around to pick up a couple caches before going back camp. Quick finds, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to Rainforest Cookie
TFTC,
Headed out to share our 3rd Community Celebration Event and find some extra caches while going both ways.
It was a great day and as we head back to our accommodation, we are getting a few more caches.
Till we return, thanks for the experience.

After the CITO in Mackay, a quick drive to grab some FTF's.
After a good start with the first hide, I was hoping the the same result here.
Found quickly and SL before any weekend muggles came past.
